Excavation in earthwork in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The recovery @ Rs. 300.00 per cubic metre for 3171.42 cubic metre useful stones shall be made from the contractor on pro-rata basis in each running bill
Earth work in excavation for structures other than bridge in all depths as per drawing and technical specification clause 305 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. Providing and laying mechnically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain / reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 & 1203, Plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded/crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) including cost of form work and curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm X 25mm X 5mm (twenty five into twenty five into five millimeter).
