| 1.00General note applicable to all sections : 1) Only sieved river sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 2) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) The contractor shall set up automatic batching plant/sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete. 4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. 5) Manufacturer's Test certificate of cement which is procured from dealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor. 6) "Substrcture" refers to the part of structure upto top level of ground floor grade slab and "Superstructure"refers to the part of structure above the top of the ground floor grade slab. | ||||||||
| 1.107) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document "General Scope of all works" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 8) The rate quoted for the items by the bidder shall include the makes for guidance to bidders as per Annexure B of Section VII of tender document. Any other additional makes proposed by the bidder have to be informed to BARC before pre-bid meeting (to be held before submission of bids) and to be approved by BARC. 9) The quoted rates shall include necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials. 10) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORT&H, ASTM, etc. refer only latest revisions including all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed. 11)Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission of relavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC. 12) All the tests mentioned in Quality Assurance Plan(QAP) should be carried out without any extra cost. 13) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for all the naturally available construction materials before submitting the RA bills. | ||||||||

b) 50% after completion of the ground floor flooring.
c) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows and around the building. Work to be executed by approved agency and specified guarantee for 10 (Ten) years shall be furnished by the tenderer. Note: Payment will be cleared only after submission of Guarantee.
