INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS

Note: The rates in respect of items 1.1, 1.2 is applicable for the net quantities arrived as per the actual difference in levels jointly taken by the department and the contractor after compaction of the earth as mentioned in the item description.

Filling of outside areas, around builldings, wherever specified with approved quality murrum/gravel brought from outside sources including Supply of all materials including breaking clods, storing, transportation, watering, spreading by both mechanical and manual means,compacting in layers of not exceeding 250 mm compacted thick each layer with vibratory roller of 8-10 tonne / 3 tonne capacity(wherever feasible) to achieve a minimum of 95% proctor density at optimum moisture content, all leads and lifts, bailing/ pumping out of water to keep site dry while backfilling. Cost shall include conveyance of all materials, labour, machinery, seigniorage charges etc. complete. The rate quoted shall include loading, unloading, hire and fuel charges for tools and plants, removal of boulders by both mechanical and manual means and other incidental charges etc complete. The rate quoted shall also include compaction of original ground by suitable roller to achieve a minimum of 90% proctor density at optimum moisture content , complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (only consolidated thickness will be measured and paid for)

Providing, supplying and filling in the plinth and other approved locations with approved murrum/gravel brought from outside sources in layers of not more than 250 mm thick, compacted with vibratory rammer / floor compactor/ 1 tonne capacity roller and consolidated including watering to achieve a minimum of 90% of proctor density at optimum moisture content, etc. complete all as per drawing, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (only consolidated thickness will be measured and paid for)

Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion (Imidacloprid) at the rates and concentrations as per IS 6313 Part II for preconstructional anti termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and around the foundations, masonry pits, masonry foundations, wall trenches, plinth filling, junctions of wall and floor, expansion joints, surfaces of RCC works for a depth of min. 500mm from the finished ground level, surrounding pipes, conduits etc., walls retaining soil above floor level, apron and drain along the perimeter of the building including all associated works complete as per specification / IS 6313 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (only ground floor plinth area of the building will be measured for the payment in the following three stages). a) 20% after completion of the foundations/plinth beam. b) 50% after completion of the ground fl

oor flooring. c) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows and around the building. Work to be executed by approved agency and specified guarantee for 10 (Ten) years shall be furnished by the tenderer. Note: Payment will be cleared only after submission of Guarantee. SECTION - '2' Bored Cast In Situ Piles

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting hand broken/ crushed stone aggregate under floors also, of required thickness Wet Mix Macadam including premixing of material with water in mixing plant for Wet Mix Macadam, carriage of mixed material by tippers to the site and laying material in uniform thickness under floors etc., and laying by mechanical paver including rolling with road roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber spreading and brooming including watering to achieve a minimum of 98% of proctor density at optimum moisture content etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)

Forming vertical piles including initial test piles by boring through fill and all kinds of soils including hard murrum with gravel and chiselling through occassional boulders and soft / weathered / hard rock by Rotary Drilling method, conducting Standard Penetration test using SPT equipment all as instructed by Engineer In Charge, carting away the bored excavated soil upto a lead of 600 metres at places shown inside BARC campus, fixing reinforcement as per drawing, casting the piles with M-30 grade concrete by tremie only, using graded stone aggregates of maximum size 20 mm, with minimum cement content of 400 Kgs. per cubic metre of concrete and with water cement ratio including the water contained in the aggregates not exceeding 0.40, etc. all as per drawing, technical specification, and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Note : (i) The Rate quoted shall include tremie concreting up to ground level to permit overflow of concrete or a minimum of 600 mm above specified cut-off levels or up to concrete, cutting of piles at cut-off level specified including cost of all materials, admixtures (corboxalite based superplasticizers or approved super plasticisers), if used with the prior approval of engineer in charge, labour, tools, excavation, dewatering by pumps or well points and also for cut-off chipping, all as required etc. excluding cost of steel reinforcement but including cost of boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing for approprite length for setting out and removal of same complete. (ii) The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixtures. (iii) Standard Penetration test for piles will be measured and paid separately under relevent item. (iv) Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under relevent item. (v) The Rate quoted shall also include mobilisation work including transporting to site all necessary plant, equipment, piling / boring rigs or rotary piling equipment, necessary pile load testing equipment and materials, making vats, mobilising personnel, etc., erecting and commissioning all piling/boring rigs, plant & equipment and removal of same after completion as required & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (vi) No additional payment will be made for cutting of piles up to specified cut-off level .

500 mm dia. piles M-30 grade concrete in ordinary soils, murrum, gravel, soft rock and occassional hard/weathered rock & boulders ( Note: Occassional hard/weathered rock means that which is encountered between the layers of soil and not continuous rock).

Extra over item no2.1 for Conducting Standard Penetration tests in piles as per IS 2131 till occurance of competent strata using SPT equipment all as instructed by Engineer In Charge. Note: Tests to be conduted till occurance of competent strata and only qualified single test per each pile will be measured for payment purpose.

SECTION - '3' EARTH WORK EXCAVATION

Conducting Routine Vertical load testing of piles of following sizes in accordance with IS 2911 (PART IV) including installation of loading platform and preparation of pile head or construction of Test cap including cost of synthetic plaster and dismantling of test cap after test, settlement measurement using LVDTs etc. complete all as per drawing, technical specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. Conducting tests on piles as mentioned in above items shall be at design load / working load of piles as per IS standards 2911 (Part - IV) and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 2. Submission of test reports along with conclusions for all kinds of tests as soft as well as hard copy (three copies) as required by the Engineer-incharge. 3. The Rate quoted shall also include mobilisation work including transporting to site all necessary plant, equipment, piling / boring rigs or rotary piling equipment, necessary pile load testing equipment and materials, making vats, mobilising personnel, etc., erecting and commissioning all piling/boring rigs, plant & equipment and removal of same after completion as required & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4.Payment shall be made on number of tests conducted.

e) the loose pockets shall be excavated and compacted after back filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge, as per detailed specification and conforming to safety rules during progress of the work. f) Contour levels to be taken jointly with the Engineer-in-charge and prior written approval be taken before starting any excavation/ filling at every 3 m grids for arriving at the actual quantity, g) Backfilling will be done in layers of thickness as specified below. h) Cost inclusive of necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges and other charges to supply all the required construction materials, i) cost of items shall include all labour charges, hire charges of machinery, lubricants, fuels and tests etc. j) Measurement/Payment will be reststicted to PCC/drawing dimensions only.

Note : The rate quoted for earthwork excavation by contractor is deemed to have included the following points (a) to (j) a) removal of all kinds of vegetation, small shrubs, light/heavy jungle etc., trees upto girth of 30 cm when measured 1 metre above ground level alongwith roots, including disposal/stack in the identified location. b) shoring, strutting, stepping, dressing, grading required for keeping the earth in position on sides of trenches with approved timber/steel accessories wherever necessary to prevent sides from falling including bailing or pumping out of water if necessary including removal of debris/unserviceable materials and excavated excess soil, if any. c) dewatering of both ground and surface water, including removal of slurry generated while excavation and keeping the area free from water, to be let out of the building area through proper pipes & channels if required by suitable pumps, d) watering, ramming and thoroughly consolidate the bottom of all excavations & ground before the construction of foundation/footing/plinth beam, filling in basement or other work is commenced.

Providing and laying design mix reinforced cement concrete of M30 Grade by weigh batching using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size and coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved Brand and quality, including handling & transportation, scaffolding, mechanical mixing, placing to required location by hoisting and / or pumping & mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, hacking of concrete surfaces wherever required etc. complete at all levels in substructure/superstructure, roads, etc as per specifications & also including dewatering, if any, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement. Note: 1) The minimum cement content shall be 390kg/Cum of concrete. However, actual cement content required shall be based on design mix requirements carried out at BARC approved (NABL accredited) laboratory. In case the cement quantity consumed more than the specified above, the cost towards extra cement will not be paid. 2)Temparature raised due to heat of hydration shall be kept within limits in raft/mass concrete by keeping proper curing mechanism.

Providing and constructing 100/150/200/230mm (or as directed) thick masonry at all elevations with approved quality Fly ash / FAL-G bricks having minimum crushing strength 60 Kgs/Sq.cm and water absorption of maximum 20% and maximum drying shrinkage 0.15%. Masonry work with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 river sand/ crushed stone sand) uniformly mixed in machine with approved 'non-shrinking compound' as per manufacturer’s instruction in specified courses of approved brand also providing horizonatal RCC band of 100/150/200/230mm x 100 mm (or as directed) at about 1.00 m c/c with 2 nos. 8 mm dia rebars and 8 mm dia links at 300 mm c/c in cement concrete (1:2:4), required formwork, complete including pointing

Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted including in built up sections for columns, beams, trusses, structural steel floors, frame works, monorails, grating, window grills and other structures including supplying, cutting, drilling, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of zinc chromate steel primer. complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1) Structural steel required for the work shall not be supplied by the Department. 2) Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced. 3) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. 4) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. 5) Welding Electrodes of specified suitable grade only shall be used. 6) Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted.

i) Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels and below sections. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials.

, raking out joints, curing, cleaning, including independent double legged scaffolding, at all heights, depths and leads, dewatering area where required etc., all as per typical drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Notes: 1) Rates quoted for PCC & RCC items shall include cost of sieved river sand (from Godavari river or varaha river or Vamsadhara river or sarada river or Nagavali river)/ crushed stone sand (confirming to Zone-II ) as fine aggregate and graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material as a coarse aggregate. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 2) The mix shall be designed to maintain the desired slump (as required at site/specified in IS code). In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (corboxalite based superplasticizers of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for the concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) The contractor shall set up fully automatic batching plant/sufficient number of Self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the manufacture of concrete. 4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. Extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from approved RMC plants outside the project area, under relevant item.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 river Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) at all elevations including for roads. Cost includes consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding the cost of form work shuttering, centering all as directed

by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using Film faced plywood of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, steel frame work/H-beams, steel proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls,roads etc., for all heights and leads. 2) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 3) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar (Approved make as per annexure B of section VII) at no extra payment. 4) The design and drawings of formwork shall be submitted alongwith calculations for approval before commencement of work. 5) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete. 6) Wall ties passing through the walls will not be allowed.

Note for flyash bricks: In the fly ash bricks the mix confirming to the strength mentioned in the respective items shall be got approved by the department. The mix shall consist of ordinary portland cement content of not less than 20%(preferably) of the mixture consisting of Fly ash, OPC and Gypsum or any variation in proportion of design mix shall be submitted to BARC for approval. The Anhydraous Gypsum, Fly Ash, Cement, Crusher dust and other materials shall confirm to the the relevant IS codes. The Anhydrous Gypsum shall be procured from a reputed source approved by the department. Roller mixer shall be used for good homogeneous mixing. Note for brick masonry item: a) Reinforcement will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item. b) RCC band and formwork shall not be measured seperatly, however no deductions will be made in brickwork for the same. c) No holes in brickwall will be allowed for scaffolding. Only double tubular steel scaffolding be allowed.

Providing 15 mm thick Plain Internal Plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished smooth, including sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of the surface, double steel tubular scaffolding, curing, formation of grooves at dissimilar material junctions (beams and columns) all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site etc. complete all as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 50mm thick cement concrete Vaccum Dewatering flooring (VDF) with cement conrete M30 grade in panels of required size finished smooth as per manufacturers specification for enhanced strength . This includes cost of cement slurry, Double beam screed vibraton, vaccum dewatering, floating/ trowelling with trowel finishing to the required level finishing and cleaning neatly while handling over the areas etc., but excluding cost of grooves & sealant filling complete all as per technical specificationa and as directed by engineer In Charge

Providing Reinforcement steel of all diameters for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting to all elevations, placing and keeping in positions, all leads, fixing, tieing with 1.2 mm dia annealed GI coated binding wire including all labour charges, cost of cover blocks (in same grade of concrete) of various thicknesses and sizes etc. all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Using TMT Bars of Specified Grades of all sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII of grade - Fe 500D/Fe 550D / Fe-500EQR/FE -550EQR. Notes: 1) 1.2mm dia annealed GI coated binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. 2) Fe 500D/Fe 550D / Fe-500EQR/FE -550EQR bars as per IS to be supplied by the contractor of approved make as per Annexure B of section VII from their own plants rolled from virgin materials only. 3) Reinforcement bars from conversion agents / re-rollers of above manufacturers, will not be accepted. 4) No extra payment will be made on account of Rolling Margin & wastage. 5) Contractor shall supply copy of the documentry evidence of purchase of steel, test certificate from the manufacturers and also test from third party to be carried out at no extra cost.

Making of 5 mm*15 mm size grooves in the VDF flooring / in RCC using machine having diamond cutting wheels and filling the groove using Fosroc Colpar 200, as per the manufacturer specifications. The cost includes all charges for the labour, machinery, materials, tools for cleaning, primer before application of sealant, lapping tape, sealant, water, electricity etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing, laying and fixing in position 17mm thick mirror polished approved quality granite stone over and including 12mm thick cement mortar ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) backing, machine cut and machine polished (mirror polish) jet black Granite/ equivalent approved range and shade granite stone of approved colour and pattern in flooring/skirting/cladding/ treads/ risers/ cills etc. at all location including necessary mortar bedding /backing close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level, etc, as required including cutting of stone slabs , wastage, making cutouts, required pattern in plain ,curved or any geometric shape, rounded/chamfered and design, including providing of 6mmx6mm-2Nos grooves to the tread, wherever required all as per the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying machine cut three level polishing including mirror polishing of Tandoor stone flooring with Tandoor stone of minimum thickness of 25 mm and of approved size, uniform shade and pattern as shown in drawing or approved by Engineer-in-charge, bedding in cement mortar (1:4) of thickness to make a total thickness of 50 mm icluding the thickness of Tandoor stone, including hacking, cleaning and preparing the surface for bedding, spreading neat cement slurry by using minimum cement about 1 Kg/sqm prior to bedding and using minimum cement paste about 3.3 Kgs/sqm for fixing to required line, level, joints to be cleaned and grouted with matching colour of approved quality readymade grout, curing, cleaning etc., complete at all heights and leads all complete as per technical specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing fully flush type Hollow metal Steel door including frame and shutter at all levels. 46 mm thick Pressed Galvanized steel conforming to IS 277, Single / Double / Triple leaved which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below : Door frame shall be single rebate profile of size 100 x 57 mm with bending radius of 1.2 mm having 1.20 mm thick galvanized steel sheet (18 gauge). Steel door shutter of 46 mm thick, fully flush, double skin door shall be manufactured from 0.80 mm thick galvanized steel sheet of minimum 1hr fire rating. The stile edges to be lock seamed with no weld marks. The infill material shall be resin bonded honey comb Kraft paper with thermal insulation. Door frames and shutter shall be finished with etched primer coating, stoved zinc phosphate primer (35 microns DFT) and thermosetting polyurethane aliphtic grade paint (35 micron DFT) of approved colour. Rate shall include for supply and fix 3 mm thick base plates, all joints of frames with provision for anchor bolt fixing to wall / RCC surface, reinforcement pad for fixing of door closers, factory finish, provision for slots for mortise locks, for pre-punched cut outs to receive hardwares and iron mongery, 3 mm thick hinge plates predrilled to receive hinges for screw mounted fixing, providing vision panel of required size complete all as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes : Rate shall also include for grouting the frame with cement at the joints between wall & frame to the required thickness as per manufacture’s specifications. (Wherever steel louvers are provided on the door, the corresponding area of steel louvers area will be deducted from the measurement of hollow metal steel door area. The aluminium louvers shall be paid under seperate item in the schedule.) Rate quoted shall also include for grouting the frame with cement at the joints between wall & frame to the required thickness as per manufacture’s specifications.

Providing and fixing UV

Supply, fabrication, and fixing in position the MS embedded parts in RCC/ Masonry/ Form work at all heights. Cost includung transporting, aligning, fixing in position, etc. complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Materials produced bymakes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII make only shall be used. All necessary test reports are to be provided along with the supply of the materials.

resistant, water profing and termite proof WPC (Wood polymer composite) door frame having resistant of bending and warping in frosty white and natural wood finish of minimum density 750 Kg/cum of approved size including fixing of door fame in wall/RCC with dash fastener of 10mmx120mm double threaded, counter sunk head, all complete as per detailed Architectural drawings, Manufacturer technical specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge: door fame size is 100mmx50mm.(Hardy smith)

Providing Structural steel work in M.S. plain plates and chequered plates in trench covers, connection plates and other areas as required. Cost including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer, welding, all labour charges etc., Structural steel plates to be used shall be of approved make as per annexure B of section VII, complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Materials produced by makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII shall only be used. All necessary test reports of the supplied material are to be submitted by the contractor.

Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel members for railing, pergolas, gates etc. using MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII including applying a coat of primer of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B before and after erection and two coats of first quality anticorrosive polyurethene paint of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII all as per Technical specifications, drawings, complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing factory made painted WPC(Wood polymer composite) solid core flush door shutters of required size, colour and shade, including approved 1mm thick 35mm wide bright finished stainless steel (grade not less than 304) Piano hinges with necessary screws all complete as per detailed Architectural drawings etc complete. (Only difference is ‘No lamination’ but enamel painting on both sides of the shutters).

aluminum beading, aluminium sheets & aluminium handles used will be measured for payment. The rate quoted is deemed to have included the cost of all brass concealed tower bolts, screws, gasket, weather strips, PVC lining, etc. and no seperate measurement / payment will be made for the same. 2) Glass, particle boards, aluminium grills, brass mesh, louvers, etc. will be measured & paid separately under relevant items. 3) All fittings shall be of matching colour anodised of aluminium sections. 4) Aluminium Frames to be fixed with walls / columns with minimum 100 mm long Brass screws / Stainless steel screws and necessary hold fasts. For fixing of frames with RCC members, for Aluminium windows/louvers, doors having area of equal to 10 sq.m or above, Carbon steel zinc cozted anchor fasteners shall be used. Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment With Average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc. consisting of following operations: (i) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement by pump using 2.75 Kgs / sq.m of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 over RCC slab including adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (ii) Providing and laying 20 mm thick plastering using cement mortar 1:5 (with coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding (Vatta) of junctions of walls and slabs. The entire surface shall be ponded with water for a period of 3 days and observe for leakage if any. In case of any leakage observed, the effected area shall be sealed by grouting with cement and further leakage to be checked for again. (iii) Laying brick bats set in cement mortar 1:5 using broken brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding (Vatta) of junctions of walls and slabs. The entire surface shall be ponded with water for a period of 10 days and observe for leakage if any. In case of any leakage observed, the effected area shall be sealed by grouting with cement and further leakage to be checked for again. (iv) After 10 days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

(v) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixing ''polyster fibre of approved make' at the rate of 125 grams per 50 Kgs of Cement in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300 X 300 mm square, 3 mm deep. (vi) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 2 weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order, complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vii)Contractor shall provide 10 year guarantee for waterproofing on approved proforma. Note: a) Before water proofing the slab to be checked for leak tightness by ponding with water for a period of 10 days and grouting to be performed for all leaks or dampness. The process to be repeated till all leaks are arrested in roof slab and checked for leaktightness. ( b)Measurement will be done only for actual horizontal area of waterproofing .No extra payment will be made for 300 mm wall height ,vatta.
