For regular activities, as per frequency mentioned in SOW (including all below mentioned 11 activities) on per meter basis 1.1 Inspection, identify the defects of B.G. Tracks, Points, crossings, level crossings, bridges, check rails, platform-tracks. This shall include transportation of materials such as ballast & rail fittings to the work-site from depot or any other storage location within the railway yard. Daily inspection report should be submitted. 1.2 Through packing / deep screening 60 Kg/52 Kg/90lbs/ 100 lbs. tracks 1.3 Picking up slacks / trash / bags near tracks in yard 1.4 Lubrication of fish plate bolts of 52 Kg/60 Kg/90/ 100 lbs. 1.5 Overhauling of level crossing and bridges 1.6 Overhauling of points and crossing 1.7 Repairs to cess and cleaning of side drains and catch water drains 1.8 Creep adjustment by pulling back rails 1.9 Overhauling and maintenance of B.G. Tracks, check rails, platform-tracks including packing, levelling, aligning, gauging, transporting & spreading of Ballast, oiling/greasing, tightening of screws, nuts, bolts and other fittings etc. as per Railway Standard specifications and Indian Railway Path Way Manual. 1.10 Overhauling of bridges 1.11 Lubrication of points & crossings

Need Based Jobs (As per requirement)

Transportation and segregation of removed railway material /scrap material from the site to the place shown by RCF after proper weighment and stacking it as directed by RCF and submission of weighbridge cards. The contractor will make his own arrangement of transportation for transporting removed material up to the point of stacking.

Supply of labour for Misc. works such as Stores handling and attending to accidents in Railway Yard. Rates include supervision of work.

Replacement/Insertion of MBC Sleeper in place of wooden / CST/POT sleeper with all fittings & packing with ballast.

Replacement of Bridge –wooden sleepers with fitting on gurder bridges. Making Groove on both sides of Wooden Sleepers (total 3 bridges per bridge 35 wooden sleepers and 20 MBC Sleeper both side (10 sleeper each side) Making Hole on both sides of Wooden Sleepers (8 holes per sleeper) Bearing plates – Old plates are to be removed and new bearing plates are to be fitted Bolts (Jack bolts) fixing on both sides of sleepers. MBC Sleepers both side of bridge: Old sleepers are to be removed and new MBC sleepers are to be fitted. Guard Rail both side of bridge: Old rails are to be removed and new rails are to fitted. Tightening of the wire on both ends of the wooden sleepers. Transportation of Wooden Sleepers from stock yard to work place within 300 mtr area JCB / hydra with Manpower as per requirement Bolts are to be removed and new bolts are to be fitted. Gas cutting: all old bolts/fasters are be cut Guard Rail are to be removed and new rails are to fitted. Dismantling of existing wooden sleepers girder bridge and replacing with new wooden sleepers. (Total 3 bridges. One bridge 1 set. One set consists of 35 wooden sleeper and 20 MBC sleeper )

Drilling of Holes in rails 50 Kg/60 Kg

Painting of hand point lever with number marking in the Yard (Paint shall be provided by RCF)

Boom-barrier gates: check the oil level of the gear-box, filing oil to maintain level of all boom barriers and attend trouble shooting jobs. Cleaning of control panel and maintain boom-barrier in working condition.

Removal of wild Grass /vegetation and trimming of Tree Branches within the tracks and 2 Meters from the rail on both the sides of the track and near the points in such a way to an extent that smooth functioning of Yard is ensured. Loco Operator must have a clear vision of tracks as well as signals given by Shunting Staff. The Removed grass should be removed by the contractor by his own transport within a week time from removal; otherwise payment will not be released of that month.

Spreading / applying chemicals on wild Grass /vegetation within the tracks and surrounding area, the chemicals will be supplied by RCF. The contractor should remove the dead grass by his own transport within a week time from removal; otherwise payment will not be released of that month.

Hiring of Hydra/crane for unloading of Rails, Sleepers etc. from incoming trucks/trailers etc.

Hiring of JCB on shift basis for excavation ad other miscellaneous jobs

Supply of Grooved rubber pads as per RDSO Drg. T-3703 as and when required

Supply of M S Liners as per RDSO Drg T-3741 as and when required

Supply of M S Liners as per RDSO Drg T-3742 as and when required

Supply of ERC Clips as per RDSO DRG. T - 3701 as and when required

Metal Liner For 60 Kg Rails On 60 Kg Sleeper As Per Rdso Drg No. T 3740 as and when required

Groove Rubber Pad For 60 Kg Rails As Per Rdso / Part No. T 3711 as and when required

Complete Track removal: CTR: Removal of old rails of 90 lb, 100lb with CST Sleeper, Pot sleeper and its fittings and formation/ replacement with old good quality 52 Kg/ 60 Kg rails with good quality MBC sleepers and fittings. Transportation of MBC Sleeper, and 52 Kg /60 Kg rails within 1 km railway yard premises shall be in the scope of supplier. Note: The CTR shall be at different track line where 90lb,100 lb and CST, Wooden pot sleeper are existing. Total approximate track at different location shall be around 1000 mtr Price for drilling of holes, cutting of rails and transportation of Rails, sleeper, fitting within 500 mtr within railway yard shall be in suppliers scope all charges shall be included in basic price. The fitness certificate for satisfactory job completion report from Railway authority / Authorised PWI appointed by Railway contractor.
