Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner including arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 195.07 cum ( i. e one hundred ninety five and zero seven cubic meter) @ Rupee170/= only(Rupees One hundred seventy) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases

Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable cut materials in specified manner trimming filling of unevenness blind edge and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or dewatering as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 including and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/ plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm (Four millimeter )dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm (hundred into hundred millimeter ) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 % (ten per cent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg (twenty five kilogramme ) each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 including the cost of form work and hauling of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1303. Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets Clause 1106 and hauling of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Loosening & leveling the ground up to a level of 300 mm below the sub grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 for sub grade construction as per technical specification clause 303.5.2 and disposal of material within all leads and lifts and as per technical specification clause 301.4 as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lead and lift and as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4 as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of sub grade and earthen shoulders with approval material obtained from borrow pits with all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 including haulaging of materials in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge as per Technical Specification clause 303.1.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor tractor mount grade on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three wheel 80-100 kn static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401 including haulaging of materials in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including haulaging of materials in all leads , lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road and spraying primer at the rate of 1.00 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 502 including haulaging of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rates of 0.30 Kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using aggregates of grading as per table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, VG-10 transported to site within all lead laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Nothing extra shall be paid for higher content of bitumen required as per job mix formula).

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tones per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous (VG-10) binder @ 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Nothing extra shall be paid for higher content of bitumen required as per job mix formula).

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips ( retro reflective) of specified shade /color using hot thermoplastic material by fully /semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitter with profile shoe, bead dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foriegm matter etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer- In charge and in accordance with applicable specification .

P/F of typical PMGSY informatory board with logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS plates of 1.6mm (one point six millimeter) thick, top and middle plates duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm X5mm (twenty five into five millimeter) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mmX25mmX5mm. (twenty five into twenty five into five millimeter). The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded two nos. 75mmX75mm (seventy five in to seventy five millimeter) of 12SWG sheet tubes post duly embedded in C.C. M-15 grade blocks of 450mmX450mmX600mm, (four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimeter) 600 mm (six hundred) below ground level.
