Peeling and arc cutting of SS430 used liner comprising of following activities: 1. 3 mm thick SS 430 used liner to be cut longitudinally, 5 sides with a cutting wheel mounted on motor driven cutting machine to a total length of around 7500mm. The plant will provide cutting wheels along with machine. 2. Arc cutting of reduced batch liner and making holes to peel it. 3. Peeling of the liner using hoist & chains available at site. 4. Arc cutting of SS 430 used liners to a size of 1.5 meter length. Contractor has to bring his own welding machine. Cutting rods are in the scope of plant. 5. Removal of sticking material Mg / MgCl2 and Zr / Zr chlorides by chipping and scraping. 6. Straightening of the cut liners, by hammering manually, and then Pickling & Cleaning in Hydrochloric acid and stacking them for disposal. 7. Pyrophoric material collected is to be burnt in the static bed incinerator available at site and same to be packed after burning & handing over to Rotary incinerator. 8. Loading & unloading of reduced zirconium sponge liner peeled batches in Vacuum distillation including VD Bell type furnace placing & lifting. 9. Assisting in carrying out in plant maintenance works of ZSP.
