SITC of 4 Lamp PAPI and other GLF works along with interleaving of PAPI units at Calicut International Airport

SITC of PAPI units (set of 4 units viz. A, B C & D units) fitted with 4 nos. of 200W, 6.6Amps halogen lamps in each units including all accessories like clear lens, red filters, reflectors, supporting legs, secondary leads etc. as per ICAO/CAR/FAA standards, etc. as required. The PAPI units and the check stick base to be installed on RCC foundation as required as per the site including the ground calibration, complete as required.

Supply of four lamp PAPI (01 unit) complying to ICAO, FAA regulations complete with lamps and all accessories etc.

S/O plug & Receptacle : Supply of 6 sqmm, 5 KV grade plug and receptacle of type I, class 'B' plug and receptacle suitable for field attachment with 5 KV grade PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, single core copper conductor cable as required.

S/O Isolation Transformer : Supply of 5 KV grade, 50 Hz isolation transformer suitable for use in airfield lighting, with following rating completely encapsulated in polyster resin, finally moulded in neoprene type rubber , with primary and secondary connections. 200 Watt, 6.6/6.6 Amps

S/O CI Boxes : Supply of Cast iron Isolating Transformer housing box, water tight round type, metal container of outside dia 330 mm, height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate/cover plate on the top and underground housing associated with transformer power cable and having required numbers of holes of appropriate diameter, as per site requirement on the periphery centre, 75 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive HDPE/GI pipes as required. The box should have two removable SS earth bolts of M10 x 40 mm fixed near the hole (4" away from the hole centre) for connecting the earth wires/strip and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably threaded to receive 15 mm dia, 'B' class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 Nos. M10 tapped hole having centre to center distance of 260 mm alongwith bolts as required as per the drawings.

Supply of cover plate of MS, having thickness of minimum 5 mm, suitable for 330 mm dia transformer housing box used in airfield lighting, having 06 nos. of holes suitable for fixing M-10 bolts along with suitable gasket. The overall diameter of the plate shall be 310 mm and the pcd (pitch circle diameter) shall be 260 mm. The holes shall be placed at 60° axis of the plate. The cover plate shall be painted with one coat of primer and two or more coats of aviation yellow PU paint.

Supply Installation, testing & commissioning of indoor type air cooled constant current regulator of following sizessuitable for use on input supply voltage 230/400 +/- 10% 50Hz and output current at highest intensity 6.6 A ,with 5 steps current variation suitable for local and remote control operation with built in 24V/48V DC control supply, digital output ammeter (0-10 Amps), having protections against over current, open circuit , having meter for indicating earth leakage & provision for positive back indication complete as required, all necessary arrangement, interconnecting the already laid power & control cables, end terminations & earthing connection as required. Note: The CCR should be compatible with existing ALCMS and necessary cabling/alterations as required for achieving the same shall be deemed to be included in the scope. One No. spare main card, power supply card should be provided along with each type of CCR. 4 KW

Laying of 50 mm HDPE pipe: Laying of 50 mm dia HDPE pipe, by cutting bituminous/concrete upto a depth of 15 cm, connecting both/one end to existing transformer housing box i/c refilling with suitable dobefill/ cement /bituminous concrete etc. with bends, couplers etc. as required as per technical specification.

ITC of Boxes/Chambers : Installation of CI housing box along with cover plate of size 330 mm dia and depth up to 450 mm as per drawing i/c excavation of hard rock/pavement of all types/ concrete/bitumen etc. and all kinds of soil to the required depth, as per specifications, refilling the side surface, sloping and making good the same as original, providing cement cncrete foundation of ratio 1:3:6 ( i cement, 3. coarse sand and 6 graded stone of 40 mm nominal size) & thickness of concrete at 75 mm in all sides i/c bottom dressing of earth, with brick and finishing with 13 mm thick cement plaster of ratio 1:3 on exposed surface and neat cement finishing on top etc. as required.

Excavation of Soil : Excavation of all kinds of soil to a depth 50 cm and width 40cm, including refilling and compacting etc., (after laying of cable/pipes/earthing strip) as required.

Laying of HDPE pipe in trench : Laying of HDPE pipe in the existing trench of outer dia not exceeding 50 mm with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc. in the existing trench, complete as required.

Laying of cable in pipe : Laying of one number PVC insulated & PVC sheathed armoured/un-armoured aluminium / copper conductor power/ Runway primary/ secondary cable of grade not exceeding 5KV of size not exceeding 25 Sq.mm in the existing RCC/HUME/STONEWARE / METAL/ HDPE pipe etc. as required.

Laying of cable in cable tray : Laying of one number PVC insulated & PVC sheathed armoured/un-armoured aluminium / copper conductor power/ Runway primary/ secondary cable of grade not exceeding 5KV of size not exceeding 25 Sq.mm on wall surface/ Cable tray as required. (clamped with 1mm thick saddle)

Making of field Connection : Making field connection by crimping 6/16 sqmm plug and receptacle on single core 6/16 sqmm copper conductor cable in an approved manner including applying HT tape, heat shrinkable sleeve etc. as reqd.

Supply and laying of Two pin secondary lead with plug and receptacle assembly 2X4 sq.mm, 2 meter long suitable for AGL(aeronautical ground lighting) application as per technical specifications as required.

Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 mtr long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe with charcoal or coke and salt as required.

Providing and fixing 6 SWG G.I. wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with the existing cable as required.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including form work etc. as required.

Supplying and making cable route marker with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) of size 60 cm X 60 cm at the bottom and 50 cm X 50 cm at the top with a thickness of 10cm including inscription duly engraved as required.

Excavation of the cable trenches in hard rock not exceeding 30 cm in width, and depth upto 75 cm, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 meters.

Supply of elevated type LED runway guard light High intensity working on 230 V power supply complete with prefocussed lamp reflector, front glass, breakable coupling, gaskets, two pin secondary leads plugs, base plate with six numbers M10 stainless steel bolts, spring and plain washers and other accessories confirming to ICAO requirements and particular specifications etc. Complete as required. [As per ICAO Specifications]

SITC of Landing 'H' direction indicator complying ICAO standard consisting of three rectangular AL limbs having length of 4000 mm each supported with 50mm dia Aluminum frangible pipe of 1350mm length & flanges, suitable wattage linear LED lights with driver (minimum IP65) for each limb, each circuits to operate on 230 V, 50 Hz AC supply, providing control unit with suitable control transformer, Relay, Contactor, copper wiring upto Junction Box etc. as required for remote operation of landing 'T' from CCR hall as well as from control tower, connections/ interconnections, MS anchor base plate, neat finish top, painting/ powder coating, all required materials & SS hardware etc. as per client requirement. Note: The work involves dismantling of existing landing H and installing landing H at its place complying ICAO and OEM standards.

Supply of 50% spare lamp for landing T to keep as spare.

Modification in ALCMS and Remote control desk to enable PAPI interleaving at both sides of runway including any additional hardwares required in CCR like terminal blocks, relay cards, wiring, and related accessories as applicable.

Supply and fixing of wall mounted juction box made of CRCA sheet 2mm thick with 2.5 sq.mm 20 A Elmex type connector 200 Numbers.(terminal connector) mounted on din rail and cble terminations, tagging of available control cables complete as required as per direction of EIC.
