Maintenance of the Plants and Lawns in HWPM colony for the year 2026-2028.

Maintenance of lawns and gardens by deploying adequate manpower, materials, tools/ tackles etc including plants, hedge, trees, shrubs, flower beds, foliages, creepers etc., in the lawn by deploying required man power (Malis, helpers etc complete) subject to the notes below, as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in-charge comprising of mainly following operations: (a) Watering entire area of the lawns, plants and shrubs in the lawns, hedges and flower beds daily except rainy season with suitable PVC lead hose pipes and sprinklers to keep the entire lawn / hedges & edges /plants and shrubs/ flowers beds within the lawn area in enlivened and well maintained conditions. (b) sweeping the lawn area daily, removal of dry leaves, watse papers and any other waste, removing unwanted vegetation, old dead plants and replacing with new ones (c) Pruning of plants/trees/shrubs, Replacemenrt of dead plants including (d) Hoeing, weeding out the lawns / hedges & edges /flowerbeds, around the plants and shrubs in the lawns, removing of dry leaves, unwanted wild growth and disposing the same as direcetd (e) Mowing the lawns with power mower driven (Petrol / diesel operated) lawn mowing machines, sweeping of lawn area including diesel/petrol and other consumables

(f) Applying insceticide, pesticide & fertizers (as and when required) (g) Trimming of Hedges and edges in decorative fashion/straigth trimming by deploying skilled Mali as directed by the Engineer in charge to line, level & design (h) Top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works once in a month and (i) Maintain the lawn, plants, hedges in lush green throughout contaract period and (j) Disposal of cut plants with in colony permisses upto 2 kms lead as direcetd by the engineer, burn the same under controlled fire conditions with all saftey precautions and including all other such related and incidental activities and expenditure to keep the lawn in lush green and eye pleasing condition etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note : Cost of good Earth, manusure, Fertilizer, insecticide, Pesticide will be paid separately & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel, other T&P material/ articles shall be provided by the contractor.

Supplying and transplanting of seasonal seedlings (Non-local 3 varieties in 3 seasons) by deploying manpower including cost of seasonal & labour for transplantation etc. as per specification and as directed by the EIC.

Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, machinery etc. complete for maintenance of the flowerpots by watering daily/as per seasonal requirement, removal of dry leaves, loosening of soil for aeration (Twice in a month), including the cost for applying manure and pesticides as and when required for healty maintenance of plant, replacement of dead plant with new one of similar variety etc. complete by deploying manpower/ Malis etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Supplying required manpower, necessary tools and appliances weedicide/insectcide/pesticide etc spraying the weedicide on weeds, vegetation areas as per manufacturers specification and spraying the solution with approved sprayers etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Supplying and stacking red soil suitable for Horticulture including royalty, and spreading of red earth in measured thickness,levelling and compacting if necessary complete as per specificcations and as directed by the EIC( Earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% towards voids for payment purpose)

Supplying and applying of DAP as directed by EIC

Supplying and applying of Urea as directed by EIC

Supplying and Stacking of dump manure from approved source, including carriage with all leads and lifts, spreading in lawns, flower beds, tree mounds, breaking clods and levelling , watering etc., complete with all tools, tackles, manpower, equipment etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in-charge. Note : Manure measured in stacks will be reduced by 8% for payment purpose.

Providing all tools, tackles, material, manpower for preparing and providing "Flower Bouquets" of minimum size of 200 mm dia, made up with minimum four English roses bunch, seasonal flowers, covered by Morpankh (Thuja) leaves, wrapped in eco-friendly papers/ ribbons etc. complete at any time during retirement/ felicitation functions/ VIP visits etc. organized at HWPM site/ HWPM Colony as and when required and as directed by the Engineer- In-Charge."
