SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R PORTION)

Surface dressing/removal of all grass vegetation, sapling, shurbs, brushwood, undergrowth roots from the edges of road and removing rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres out side the periphery of the area and keep the level 50 mm below the edge of road in all locations complete all specified and as directed.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all specified and as directed

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm deep and n exc 100 mm deep and removing debris to a distance n exc 50 m and stacking complete all specified and as directed

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all specified and as directed

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller consolidated to average thickness 75 mm or less using binder content bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix cpmplete all as specified and as directed. Note:-The bituminious mix shall be prepared in hot mix plant and transported to the site in clean vehicle and shall be laid by means of a self-propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls all as directed.

Preparing existing WBM surface by brushing with wire bruses and removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire bruses for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen content (VG-30) and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and laid with self propelled mechanical paver fixed with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Semi Dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder contents shall be provided as per design mix.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Solar road stud having 6 x Red colour LED light reflectors with 10,000 ti 18,000 mcd of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (with a shank of 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt to be operated on one Ni-Mh or NI-cd rechargable battery (1.2V/1600MA) made of heavy body conforming to IRC-67-1977 Aluminum body complete as per manufacturers instructions etc,. all as specified and directed. Make : Dark Eye Model:DA110 or equivalent Model of make TATA BP/ Solar/3M.
