Fabrication & Installation of Target Poles and Sal Wooden Gauge Post for Hydrological Observation sites:

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m. All kinds of soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains(Not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan),including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms,lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed,within a lead of 50 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.All kinds of soil.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for: foundation, footings, bases for column.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level; 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level; 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Seasoned sal wood gauge post of size 20cm x10cm (two side tapered in 5cm length) - 2.30m long. Cross sectional area of wooden gauge post =(0.10*0.10)+2(1/2*0.10*0.05)=0.015 sq.m.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand).

Painting on gauge Post/target post with synthetic enamel of approved brand & manufacture to give an even shade by two or more coat and Marking the gauge posts with japan paint Red, Black & White with standard metric gradation marking of 10 mm thickness in black & white alternately & red synthetic enamel of width 10 mm at every 100 mm etc complete.(Marking done as per the instructions of site engineer)
