Additional Reinforcement : Check the diameter of the existing rebars and if the diameter is less than 30% of the original diameter, provide additional reinforcement. Cut 12mm dia bars as main reinforcement to the required length with proper development length. Tie them to the prefixed shear connectors so that the additional rebar acts monolithically with the existing ones and core concrete. In the case of the shear reinforcement also, if the diameter of the rebars is reduced, provide 8mm dia stirrups in the form of 2 "U" shaped bars. Tie them properly so that it has a tight contact with the main bars. The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete.

Shear Connectors : Drilling 12mm dia holes up to a depth of 75mm maximum and fixing 8mm dia L shaped anchor rods as shear connectors at every 300mm c/c on the surfaces of the columns/beams or any other structural member as the case may be. Clean the same using water and make sure that there are no fine particles present in the hole. Mix the base and hardener of the polyester resin Make Lockfix-S of M/s Fosroc or equivalent with the spatula thoroughly. Fill the drilled and cleaned holes to a minimum depth of 1/3rd of the hole with the prepared polyester resin. Make sure that the resin has reached till the end of the hole. At this stage push the shear connector gently in to the hole and finish the excess resin which comes out of the hole and allow the shear connectors not to be disturbed for minimum 20 minutes - complete. Anti-corrosive Coating : Clean the rebars using the rust remover if there exists any rust, otherwise clean the rebar free of foreign material. Mix the base and hardener of the anti-corrosive coating like Nitozinc Primer of Fosroc or equivalent mechanically using a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fitted with mixing paddle. Apply the mixed materials to the cleaned rebar and allow it to dry complete. The rate shall include necessary scaffolding and platform and cost of all the operations and etc complete. Epoxy Jointing Compound : Clean the concrete surface, remove the loose particle if any. Make sure that the form work is ready for positioning. Mix the base and hardener of the epoxy resin jointing compound and apply the same to the prepared surface. Care should be taken that the micro concrete needs to be done within 5 hours maximum from the time of application of epoxy jointing compound Nitobond EP of Fosroc or equivalent. The materials should have the fallowing properties: Specific gravity of which is 1.15 to 1.2 gm/cc, Compressive Strength (BS 6319 Pt 2) is 50MPa (@ 7day), Flexural Strength (BS 6319 Pt 3) is 35MPa (@ 7day), Shear Strength (BS 6319 Pt 4) is 10MPa (@ 7day). The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete.

High Strength Polymer Mortar (SP40) : Renderoc SP40 75 mm thick of Fosroc or equivalent, ready to use blend of dry powders which is formulated for application, repair mortar suitable for most structural and load bearing repairs as per manufacture specification. The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete.

Polymer Modified Mortar : Wet the surface with potable water and make sure that the surface is kept moist so that the water cement ratio in the polymer modified mortar 40 mm thick is maintained. Supply and application of Nitobond SBR or equivalent as per manufacture specification. The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete.

Curing Compound : Immediately after striking the form work or after completion of the repair works, the surface should be sprayed water once and followed by application of membrane based curing compound like Concure WB of Fosroc or equivalent diluted with water in the ratio of 1: 1 as a curing membrane - Complete. The specific Gravity of which is 1.025 to 1.04 gm/cc and Slant Shear (BS 6319) is 20 MPa. The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete.

Water Proofing with Brushbond : All the surfaces which are to receive the waterproofing coating like Brushbond, must be free from dirt or any other form of foreign matter which might affect adhesion. Acid wash and water wash the surface and allow it to surface dry condition. Mix the part A and part B of the polymer modified cementitious coating mechanically using an electrically operated drilling machine fitted with mix paddle. Apply the same in two coats over the prepared surface one after the other dries up with a minimum interval of 4 hours between the coats. Providing pressure grouting in all the vertical and horizontal joint including the suspected areas. The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete. Note : 10 years Guarantee certificate to be submitted by contractor.

Protective Plastering : Prepare cement sand mortar in the ratio 1:4 with waterproofing liquid (Conplast X421 IC manufactured by M/s Fosroc Chemicals or equivalent) as per the dosage of the manufacturer and apply the same as protective screed to prevent mechanical damage while laying the weathering course, tiles etc.

Protective Coating Wall guard : Clean the surface with wire brush and remove all dirt and dust. The surface should also be completely dry. The contents of Nitocote Wallguard shall be thoroughly stirred for atleast 2 minutes using a slow speed (300 - 400 RPM) drilling machine attached with a mixing paddle. Apply Nitocote Wallguard with a nylon brush, or a felt roller, to the primed substrate. Allow Nitocote Wallguard first coat to dry for 5-6 hrs at 300 C and then apply the second coat. Nitocote Wallguard shall be applied at theoretical application rate 3 to 3.5 m2/ litres for 2 coats. The rate shall include all materials, machinery, labour etc. complete.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Taking up or down steel tubing and connection, removing clear off site after credit for the same is recovered by the dept., bore of pipe 40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair ball valves of 50 mm dia with rotating spindle complete all as specified.

Supply and fix in repairs Ball brass valves, high pressure, 50 mm bore with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m deep for laying /removing of cable/ erection of poles in Soft loose soil all as specified

Supply and filling riddled soil to the full width of trenches for protection of cables including spreading and punning down including watering consolidation complete all as specified. Note : 1. Earth shall be obtained from outside MoD land. 2. Punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supply and lay sub class "B" burnt bricks of size 23x11.5x7.5 cm, as in cable protection, laid length of brick perpendicular to length of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling in of soil including spreading leveling, watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point, and depositing where directed complete all as specified.

GI pipe, light grade of dia 50 mm, as in cable protection complete all as specified.

XLPE insulated PVC sheathed armoured with multistranded aluminium conductor cable having cross sectional area 150 Sqmm, 3.5 core, 1100 volt grade , Heavy grade conforming to IS :7098 (Part 1) laid in trenches/Ducts or passing through pipes or fixing on poles etc complete all as specified and directed. Supply, install and connection LT outdoor loop-in loop-out terminal box with sloping canopy of size 600x450x300mm made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, front and rear hinged doors mounted on 25x25x4mm MS angle iron frame 60cms height, erected in ground with PCC foundation (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) including Supply and fix in repair insulated aluminium bus bar of current carrying capacity 400 Amps for 3 phase and neutral respectively mounted on insulators and terminating with suitable cable with glands including taking down old terminal boxes complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Rate deemed to be inclusive of rate of foundation and any excavation works required at site
