REPLACEMENT OF BER DG SET AT TS (K) AND SPECIAL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT TO LT POLES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT TS (K) UNDER GE (NS) KOCHI.

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning factory assembled silent diesel engine driven 1500 RPM, Generating set not less than 160 KVA capacity with 10% over load for one hour in 12 hours of continuous operation and suitable for 40ºC ambient temperature as per IS 10002/BS-5514 including integrated Standard control panel system microprocessor based generator set monitoring protection and electronic governing system having digital display for Current, Voltage, Frequency, PF etc, Including Safety controls for Low lubricating oil pressure trip, High water temperature trip, ) Over speed trip etc integrated powder coated acoustic enclosure, as per CPCB-II regulation and duly certified by agencies/labs designated by CPCB-II for noise and pollution level etc complete all as specified and comprising of the following (a) Diesel Engine of requisite capacity 6 cylinder, Inline , 4 stroke heavy duty water cooled (radiator and cooling fan system) at a speed of 1500 RPM rated for continuous duty and comprising of the following : Make Cummins/Kirloskar/Ashok Leyland (i) Fuel system fuel pump and electronic Governor, injector, 12 Volt, DC Solenoid coil and replaceable fuel filter. (ii) Fuel and Lubricating oil filter, fuel hoses. (iii) Water pump and Lubricating oil pump. (iv) Electric starting system 12 volts DC with battery charging alternator and axial type starter motor including adequate number of high capacity maintenance free starting battery capacity not less than 90 AH, 1 x 12 volts including interconnecting cables with terminals complete. (v) Exhaust system with turbocharger, exhaust silencer. (vi) Flexible pipe for silencer.

(b) AMF and Instrument panel duly wired and comprising with ACB of 800 Amps - 02 Nos, Starting switch with key, Integrated control panel system microprocessor based generator set monitoring protection and electronic governing system having digital display for Current, Voltage, Frequency, PF etc, Including Safety controls for Low lubricating oil pressure trip, High water temperature trip, ) Over speed trip etc. (c) ALTERNATOR:- Self exciting, self regulating, brush less alternator rated for not less than 160 KVA continuous operation at the speed of 1500 RPM at 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system with advance electronic voltage regulator to ensure high voltage accuracy within +1% with class ‘H’ insulation and IP 23 enclosure directly coupled with engine and conforming to IS : 4722. (d) Common fabricated base frame for engine and alternator made from structural channel/joint/angle iron etc including adequate number of suitable anti vibration pads all as per the recommendation of the manufacturers. (e) In built Sheet steel fuel tank mounted inside the enclosure along with fuel piping from tank to engine with minimum 8 Hours running capacity complete with drain valve, air vent inlet and outlet connections. (f) Suitable exhaust pipe duly covered with aluminium sheet inside the enclosure silencer mounted on the top of enclosures and exhaust trail pipe and with muffler complete all as per manufacturer’s standards. (g) Maintenance manual & part list of engine and alternator of engine and Alternator both.

Dismantling and taking out unserviceable BER DG Set from plant room, 160 KVA capacity with all accessories, control panel and other parts complete and making good the disturbed surface as per existing and as required for the new DG Set complete including transportation complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Plant shall be kept/ stored as directed by engineer in charge within Four KM and rates for transportation / labour shall be deemed to be included in the item quoted rates).

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 150 sq mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth, for foundation, laying of pipes, cables, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading locally available dry River sand for covering and cushioning of UG Cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class LV, Type I, flat size of 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600X600X3.15mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) earth plate paced on all side with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150mm in layers, with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper earth strip 20 x 3 mm dia, soldered and revetted to earth plate. Earth strip will be protected by using 40mm dia bore GI pipe light grade. The earthing includes PCC Pit chamber, RCC pit cover and frame, watering pipe 20mm bore, funnel with wire mess with necessary earth work including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not less than 50 metres etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I 2009, connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.

Supply & Fix hot dipped GI Octagonal pole of 6 metres long with single arm, complete arrangement suitable for mounting of LED Street light fitting, with bottom dia 130mm, top dia 70mm with 3mm sheet thickness and foundation nut bolts complete including necessary earth work excavation, PCC, RCC in (1:1.5:3) all as per OEM Drawings attached. (Rate quoted includes all connected works such as excavation, PCC, RCC, Reinforcement, nut bolts, etc)

Supply & Fix Outdoor type, weather proof, thermoplastic polycarbonate cable junction box, IP-66/69 in accordance with IEC 60529, With 5 pole terminal suitable to terminate upto 10 sqmm 4 core and 2 core cables with metric knockouts on side walls of size 155 x 210 x 92 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix MCB SPN 6 to 32 Amps, 220 volts, 10 KA, 'C' Series complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix new generation, energy saving and environmental friendly long life LED Street light 70 watt, made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with high power LED as lighting source and lens embedded PC cover having top opening separate driver compartment with IP 66 Protection and impact resistant of IK07 with 10KV Built in surge protection device complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 3 core flexible Aluminium cable 4 sqmm from cable junction box to street light fitting with and including ERW Steel conduit of 20 mm dia with clamps, nuts, bolts etc complete all as directed.

Material & Labour for drilling suitable dia horizontal bore holes for insertion/ laying of 50mm bore CI/DI/CPVC Tubing of any description below/ under existing road surfaces / floors at a level not less than 0.60 metre etc with using mechanical / or manual devices as required at site including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing after laying pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) cost of equipment tools and plant material (horizontal boring rig machine) required for boring shall be arranged by contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing Tubes, 'light grade' galvanised, with all fittings and fixed complete to walls or laid under road for passing cables complete of size 50mm all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per item Serial Item No 17 but of 40 mm dia bore.

Material and labour for GI Steel wire 4 mm dia for continuous earthing on poles or for guarding cradles hexagonal or rectangular including stringing and connected to earth wire complete all as specified and directed.

Amount of Credit Schedule shall be deducted to arrive the Contract Sum.
