Special repairs to street lights at certain locations at INS Valsura, Jamnagar

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil (i.e. soft/ loose or hard/ dense soil) complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, base of columns etc., basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete for steel pole complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.

All as per serial item No. 7 here-in-before but bars 6 to 8 mm dia.

M&L for street light bracket made from MS tubing in required size & shape at site, cut to length, bend to shape required and suitable for existing street light pole and fixing the bracket to pole with MS flat and nuts and bolts and finally painting the exposed steel surface with two coats of first quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chromate primer including taking down existing bracket complete all as directed. Notes :- (i) Size, section and shape of MS pipe shall be as directed. (ii) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of painting. Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

M&L for Mild steel angle cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections & MS bars conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated/ directed with & including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, one under coat of aluminium paint and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Size, section and shape of steel sections shall be as directed. (ii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 50mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls etc with required size of flat iron (minimum 25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

Supply and laying/fixing 40 mm bore High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipes of Grade ‘PE 100’, Pressure Class ‘PN 8’, ‘SDR-17’, ISI marked, with all fittings, laid in trenches, under floors or roads/ along poles etc for protection of electric cables, fixed in repairs, complete all as directed.

Dismantling and taking down existing damaged/broken PCC Pole and S&F new 5 metre height hot dip galvanized steel pole hexagonal/ octagonal cross sections grade S355JO of dimensions top dia 70 mm, bottom dia 130 mm, sheet thickness 3 mm, base plate dimensions 200x200x12 mm, foundation bolt size 4 Nos x 16 mm dia, pitch circle dia 200 mm, bolt length 450 mm, projected bolt length 80 mm, anchor plate thickness 3 mm with inbuilt compartment for mounting switch box, earthing etc covered with hinged door confirming to IS:2629 / BS EN ISO 1461 alongwith connections with & including MCB SP 6 Amp, 240 V, 10 kA, 'C' Curve (1 No.) & Connector (RYB&N) - 63 A Cap (01 No.) complete all as specified and as directed. Make of Pole: Bajaj Cat No. BOP-5030 (BOPH-5030) or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after. Note: Earth work and PCC foundation shall be measured & paid for separately.

Taking down existing street light fitting of any description and S&F new 90 Watt LED street light fitting, High Efficiency IP 65 protection, CCT - 5700K, system lumen efficacy 120 Lm/W, powder coated pressure die cast aluminium housing, top opening with separate driver compartment and toughened glass, fixing to existing bracket including nut bolts, connected with & including 2.5 sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated sheathed copper conductor cable from Junction Box to light fitting and electrically connected to the existing system and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make : Jaquar Cat No. LSRT015090XC or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.

Taking down existing flood light fitting of any description and S&F new 200 W LED flood light fitting, IP-66 rated with high pressure die cast aluminium housing, lens and toughened glass cover, lumen intensity >110 Lm / W, CCT 5700K, with & including external Surge Protection Device (SPD) 10 kV, asymmetric fixing to existing bracket including nut bolts of suitable size and electrically connected to the existing system and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make : Jaquar Cat No. LFLDSLM200XC or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.

Taking down existing flood light fitting of any description and S&F new 150 W LED flood light fitting, IP-66 rated with high pressure die cast aluminium housing, lens and toughened glass cover, lumen intensity >110 Lm / W, CCT 5700K, with & including external Surge Protection Device (SPD) 10 kV, asymmetric fixing to existing bracket including nut bolts of suitable size and electrically connected to the existing system and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make : Jaquar Cat No. LFLDSLM150XC or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.

S&F in repairs 3 core, 2.5 sqmm PVC insulated sheathed multistranded flexible copper conductor cable (ISI marked) 1100 Volts grade drawn through existing conduit pipe from junction box to light fitting complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 10 sqmm 4 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for cutting of existing road for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 90cm and width 45cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed complete all as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate as electrode 600x600x6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 m below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected using galvanized iron earth lead wire 4 mm dia upto 7.5mtr as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI earth lead wire protected by Gl light grade pipe 15 mm bore, including provision of concrete pit of PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with 40 mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars reinforced at 100 mm C/C both ways and handle of 6 mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom, 2 m long placed on top edge of earth plate, charcoal and common salt filling test point made out of 40x8 mm flange with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m all as per electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part I and connected to earth test point including testing on completion complete all as specified & as directed including dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable earthing.
