Providing, installation, testing & commissioning of electro-mechanical pumping machinery / equipments along with allied works at T/well Kartholi II under WSS Bari Brahmana Town - II on turnkey basis under Languishing Project. The complete job involves the following:
Submersible pump sets: Providing, installation, testing & commissioning of 02 nos. (01 working + 01 standby) submersible pump sets (submersible pump along with energy efficient 4/5 star rating 3-phase water lubricated wet type submersible motor) of parameters 5000 GPH x 80 mtrs head at T/well Kartholi II and 02 nos. (01 working + 01 standby) submersible pump sets of parameters 4000 GPH x 100 mtrs head (submersible pump along with energy efficient 4/5 star rating 3-phase water lubricated wet type submersible motor) at T/well Kartholi - I of nationally reputed make viz. KSB/ Calama/ Kirloskari only conforming to relevant IS codes with accessories. The job includes providing of new submersible pump & motor sets with thrust pad assemblies and coupling of the submersible pump with the motor. Fabrication of graded reducer fabricated out of G.I. pipe of requisite length and dia as per pump outlet dia, threaded at one end to hold delivery end of pump and welded at other end with heavy duty MS flange for pump’s fitting with flanged column pipe. 02 nos. nuts of size 16 mm are to be welded on opposite side of reducer so that clamping bolts of a tie-rod can pass through it. Coupling of the pump and motor assemblies. Fabrication of tie-rod clamping arrangement for clamping the pump & motor fabricated out of 40 x 6 mm MS flat with turn buckle arrangement made out of heavy duty 16 x 80 mm bolts welded at both the ends. The U-shaped clamp should pass though the bottom of the thrust pad of the motor and the bolts welded at its both ends should pass through the nuts welded on the opposite sides of the reducer for proper tying of the pumpset. Filling of the cooling jacket of motor with distilled water ensuring the system free of air bubble by making the water to circulate from inlet port through outlet port of motor followed by plugging of the same properly. Testing of the coupled pumpset by lowering the same in the test pit at workshop for checking the discharge of the pump and performance of the motor at zero head. Shifting of the pumpsets to site. Fabrication & fitting of MS well cap for covering of the top of tubewell with slots for passing of the delivery pipe along with modification of delivery line & replacement of sluice/reflux valves as per site requirement. Providing of new 6 sqmm submersible copper cable of reputed make KSB/L&T/Havells/Polycab only, 90 mtrs. in length, making of connenction of submersible motor with submersible cable with high grade patch roll & insulation tape and then lowering of the new submersible pumpset along with the column pipes one by one in the tube well after providing & fitting of nuts, bolts and rubber insertion sheets etc. The complete job includes cost of the submersible pumpsets, G.I. pipes, submersible cable, providing, fabrication/fitting charges of GI pipes with flanges/ nipple with flange & MS U-clamp, nuts/bolts, patching roll, rubber gaskets, lowering charges, all labour, carriage charges and taxes etc. Complete job including testing of submersible pumpset after making all electrical connections of the submersible motor with the LT control panel at site.
(B) Voltage stabilizer: Design, manufacturing, providing, installation, testing & commissioning of 63 KVA voltage stabilizer, copper wound, manually operated, oil cooled, 3 phase step up / step down with minimum 08 steps voltage stabilizer conforming to relevant IS codes capable of operating on unbalanced input voltage from 160-460 volts delivering an output of 415+ 5% having 50 HZ + 3% frequency, 03 phase AC supply. Scope of work/Technical specifications: 1. The core should be of first quality CRGO silicon steel. 2. The conductor should be 99.95% electrolyte copper. 3. The thickness of the mild steel of the container should be of 14/16 guage. 4. The transformer oil to be used should be of good quality conforming to relevant IS codes. 5. The voltage stabilizer shall be fitted with the following: a) 100 ampere MCCB of L&T/ABB/Havells make. b) The voltmeter should be 0-500 volts. c) Bypass /changeover switches shall be of 125 ampere. d) Rotary switches shall be of 100 ampere each for minimum 08 steps, 01 for line voltage and 07 for step up voltage. e) There should be heavy duty terminal block for input and output cable connections. f) The painting shall be powder coating paint on inner as well as on outer surface of appropriate colour viz. steel grey / olive green etc. The voltage stabilizer thus fabricated shall have the following characteristics: a) Continuous duty performance at ambient temperatures 2-55 degree Celsius. b) Low internal impedance. c) Stable and effective under system power factor and frequency fluctuations as well as overload up to 50% of the connected load. d) Negligible wave distortion during operation and stopping. e) Accommodate the effects of higher staring current and should be able to recover from shock. f) The oil tank should be filled with first filling of T-Oil and it shall have a suitable breathe and leak proof washout with cork for drainage of transformer oil. The voltage stabilizer shall conform to following tests: a) Insulation resistance test b) High voltage test c) Provision for earthing d) Current leakage test e) Output voltage test at each step f) No load current test g) Load loss test and efficiency h) Induced voltage test i) Temperature test at lowest voltage applicable j) Testing for rotary switches for rotating suitability and compatibility with the rating of the voltage stabilizer. The voltage stabilizer shall be mounted on two pairs of M.S. wheels of adequate strength to make shifting & fixing easy. The job involves carriage of the complete unit from workshop to site, dragging of the same to the pump room with the help of crane / chain pulley block, manual labour and necessary tools & tackles.
Testing & Commissioning: Testing and commissioning of submersible pump sets, voltage stabilizer cum LT control panel along with all electro-mechanical system on load at site by checking of electrical system by identifying any loose electrical connections, their re-taping thereof and proper operation of the star-delta starter. Complete job in all respects as per site conditions.
Painting: The job also includes proper painting on the wall with black & white enamel paint mentioning clearly the particulars of the installed machinery / equipment installed under languishing project in the pump room.
Note: The intending tenderer should visit the site before quoting to fully acquaint himself with the site location, nature and quantum of job.
