Excavation in earth work in in hilly area all height and depths and in all kinds of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil oridinary rock and hard rock. All works road rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precutions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc, and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chieseling and wedging out rock( where blasting is prohibited).All earth work in cutting/ excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades sides slopes,width, camber,super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in confirmity with the requirement of technical specification of Rural road August 2004(Two thousand four) and clause 16.2 (Sixteen point two)of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable cut material and specificed manner, trimming,filling of unvenness blindage and finishing of the road to specified diamensions including disposal of surplus materials with all leads, and lifts at the locatuion specified in the tender document or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding.The recovery for stones where useful or not i.e. 414.74( FOUR HUNDRED FOURTEEN POINT SEVENTY FOUR) only per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis @ 170 /cum only .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor,which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his on cost in all cases including haulaging/ carriage of all labours, equipments and materials to various locations through all mode of transportations in all leads, lifts to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer- in - Charge.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and Technical specification of Ministery of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand four) C-305-1(Clause-three hundred five point one) including setting out construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials including dressing of sides and botttom and back filling in tranches with excavated suitable materials all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessry precaution against soil erosion damages to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiesling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting.excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades,side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places, in specified manner systemathically with due consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension to the entire satisfaction as directedby the Engineer-in-charge. If the foundatioin of the structure is in an area with stangnat water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other courses it shall be remove by suitable diversion boilingout or pumping as directed and the area of foudation or embankment shall be kept dry any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying 15 cm(Fifteen centemetre) flagged stone flooring laid in cement mortor 1:6 (One cement:Six sand)as per HP.PWD.specification 1990 volume-I, including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts, including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6[One cement: Three sand: Six graded hard stone aggregate 20(Twenty) millimeters nominal size] mechanically mixed and vibrated and curing complete,including cost of form work in foundation and plinth, as per H.P.PWD.spesification 1990 volume - I, including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts , including all incidental charges.

Providing and fixing antiskid water proof stain and impact resistent heavy duty vetrified tiles of approved shade and colour in flooring,treads of steps etc. laid over 12mm (Twelve milimetre) thick cement mortar 1:3 ( One cement:three sand).as per H.P.PWD.spesification 1990 volume - I, including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts , including all incidental charges.

Stone masonry in cement mortor for substructure complete as per drwaing and technical specification clause 702,704,1202 and 1204 (Seven hundred two, Seven hundred four< One thousand two hundred two and One thousand two hundred four)in Randum rubble masonry in cement mortor 1:6 ( One Cement :Six sand)and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Conctruction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls , brest walls , revetment walls and parapets etc .for sub-Structure and super Structure complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 704.6 &1302.5 (Seven hundred four point six and One thousand three hundrd two point five) as per drawings and technical specification of ministery of rural Development for rural road August 2004(Two thousand four) including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing and laying filter media with granular materials crushed aggregates as per specification will be packed to a thickness of not less than 600 mm( Six hundred milimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire sruface behind abutment wing wall return walls to the full height complete to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specifiction of Ministy of rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand four) clause 1204.3.8 (One thousand two hundred four point three point eight) and curring complet including the cost of form work and haulaging/ carriage of all labours, equipments and materials to various locations through all mode of transportations in all leads, lifts to the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer- in - Charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonery plain/reinforced concrete abutment wingwall ruturn wall with 100mm dia PVC pipe extending throught the full width of the structure withslopes of i(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614,709,1204.3.7 (Six hundrd fourteen, seven hundred nine, One thousand two hundred four point three point seven .per HPWD specification 1990 Volume-I including carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting,fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint in grating, railing framed guard and similar work ,as per HPPWD specification 1990-Volume-I,including carriage of all labour, equipment and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads,lifts and other incidental charges as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surfaces with enamel paint brushing to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matters with enamel paint other than white as per HP.PWD.specification 1990 volume-I, including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts, including all incidental charges.
