(A) Road Work :

Bituminous Concrete Providing and laying bituminous concrete with Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregates (Pakur Variety), filler materials (Hydrated Lime ) and premixed with bituminous binder (Bulk, VG-30) of specified grading @ 5.20% (min) for Grade - 1 & @ 5.40% (min) for Grade - 2, as per table 500-17 and mix design done as per table 500-10 and Job Mix Formula as per Cl. 505.3.3, including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temparature as specified in Table 500-2 with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa, to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5, including cost and carriage of bitumen, crushed aggregates, filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, complete as per Clause 507 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)..including cost of laying of tack coat (Bulk, RS-1 Type) @0.25 Kg per sqm For Grading 2 (13.2 mm nominal size) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. (Before execution of BC, Mix design shall be approved by the EIC)

Dense Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Batch Mix Plant (100-120 TPH) using crushed aggregate (Pakur variety) of specified grading, filler (Hydrated lime) premixed with bituminous binder (VG-30,Bulk)of approved grade @4.5% (min) for Grading-2 by weight of total mix as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500-11 and job mix formula as clause 505.3.3 of MorRT&H(5th Revision), including screening cleaning of chips, transporting the hot mix to work site,laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature,as specified in Table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibatory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a pressure of at least 0.56 MPa, to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5 all including cost and carriage of bitumen, crushed aggregates, filler mateials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control complete as per Clase 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRTH&H(5th Revision).including cost of laying of tack coat (Bulk, RS-1 Type) @0.25 Kg per sqm For Grading 2; (26.5 mm nominal size. ) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. (Before execution of DBM, Mix design shall be approved by the EIC)

Providing and applying Tack Coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On Bituminous Surface Using Bitumen Emulsion, Bulk, Ms-Type @ 2.50 Kg/m2.

(B) ROAD FURNITURE PORTION

Providing and laying of Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers /Road Studs / Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT&H's specification for Road & Bridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm. on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge .The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Priming one coat on timber or plastered surfacewith synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : (a) On timber or plastered surface : With super gloss (hi-gloss) (iv) Two coats (with any shade except white)
