Excavation in trenches, getting out in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5m deep and not exc 1.5m wide for taking out the existing cable of poles etc. any size at places complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr complete all as specified and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filing including spreading levelling, watering & well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 Cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&LSand cushioning with clean dry sand to cables with layer of sand 8cm before laying of cable and 15cm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified. Note : For payment purpose punned thickness of 18 cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23cm as mentioned in para 19.75 of SSR part-I.

M & L for providing PCC cable cover class LV type-I of size 250x150x40mm laid in perpendicular to the cable abutting each other all as specified and directed at site.

Taking up/down steel tubing/CI/Cement and connection from trenches incl connected fittings/accessories complete of following sizes for re-use of serviceable pipes and removing the U/S pipes from site to safe custody : -

(a) 80 mm bore

(b) 50 mm bore

(c) 40mm bore

(d) 25mm bore

(e) 20mm bore

(f) 15mm bore

Material and labour for brick masonry valve pit nominal size 60 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm with one brick thick wall using precast cement block of size 20cmx10cmx10cm brick in cement mortar 1:6 over 20 cm thick PCC plate form with 15 cm off set on every side of 1:3:6 type C-1 including plastering of internal surfaces and exposed surfaces with 15 mm thick plastering in cement mortarf 1:4 and 50- mm thick RCC cover (in two equal parts 1:2:4) type B-1 with 10 mm dia deformed bars at 10 cm interval on both side including necessary form work with 150 mm dia hole in the center complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old/unserviceable gate valve and Supply and fixing gun metal gate valve ISI marked with iron wheel screwed down high pressure screwed both ends for iron pipe of size 50mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing, jointing, testing of Sluice Valve of sizes dia 80mm , ISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.6, Confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top including taking out unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down dismantling, disconnecting carefully and transportation for taking electric motor 415 vols 50 Hz 3 phase submersible motor 02 to 05 HP to workshop complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for complete rewinding, servicing and refixing of 415 volts 50 Hz 01 to 02 HP submersible motor and refixing/lowering down at existing same place and testing incl required accesssories i.e. nuts bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate, electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6mm as earthing lead covered with 40mm bore GI pipe light grade by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, connected to earthing test point, earth plate electrode surrounded by mixer of common salt and charcoal dust, including 20 mm dia GI watering pipe 'medium grade', funnel with wire mesh, earthing chamber with cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1, RCC chamber cover 80 mm thick (1:2:4) type B-1, excavating & earth work all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR (Part-I) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Length upto 7.5m of GI strip is inclusive in unit rate.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized cast iron earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts,nuts, and galvanized iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No.05 of SSR Part-1 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including earth work in any type of soil, charcoal salt 15cm around the earth plant as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I, 20 mm dia watering pipe light grade 1.70 mtr long with plug at top, GI protection pipe light grade 15 mm dia from earth pit to main boad including testing after completioncomplete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Maximum length of GI wire, protection pipe with each earth shall not exceed 7.5 mtrs. (ii) The 20 mm dia watering pipe shall be 20 cm above the ground level and be provided with 20 mm dia GI plug at its top and no concrete watering pit/cover shall be provided.
