The Hazardous Chemical Recovery Van

(HCRV) shall be a specialized emergency

response vehicle designed for safe handling,

transfer, and recovery of hazardous

chemicals in industrial and environmental

It shall be built on a BS-VI compliant chassis

(≈7.4T GVW) with minimum 100 HP engine

and full forward control design, ensuring

maneuverability, stability, and operational

The vehicle shall be equipped with a 1000 L

polypropylene chemical storage tank and an

ATEX-compliant skid-mounted chemical

transfer pump (up to 620 LPM) for safe

handling of corrosive and contaminated

A petrol-driven generator shall be provided

to power the transfer system, supported by

SS piping, valves, and a corrosion-resistant

superstructure with modular storage and

safety features.

The unit shall include a sealed positive-

pressure crew cabin, advanced lighting

systems, telematics, and a comprehensive set

of PPE and spill response equipment for safe

hazardous material operations.

The complete vehicle shall be tested as per

TQC/PQC standards ensuring operational

readiness, safety, and compliance.
