REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO STP EQUIPMENTS PIPE LINES AND CHLORINATOR UNDER DHQ 3 AT NEW MANGALORE UNDER GE(I)(CG)GOA

Cleaning of Oil and Grease chamber, Screening Bar and Centifuse filter press and cleaning on weekly basis of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity 200 KLD at CGRA Kunjathbail for (electrically operated containing the machinery of following capacity through out including cleaning the pumping sets, DG sets, control panel, pump house building and removal of vegetation upto 10 mtr arround the installation as and when required including providing and maintaining the log sheet for pump sets and Engine complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) All chemicals required for smooth functioning of STP shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items as mentioned below. (ii) Cleaning of Oil and Grease chamber, Screening Bar and Centifuse filter press and removal of cake shall be carried out by one sweeper employed a week. NOTE FOR ALL WORK:- Contractor shall strictly follow the " Prohibition of Employment of Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilation Act, 2013" which refers prohibits engagement or employment of any person for hazardous cleaning of sewers and septic tanks by employing manual handling of excreta in the process of their cleaning. Necessary by pass arrangement to be made in case of time consuming repairs, till the sewer line is repaired & wherever handling of human excreta can be involved necessary appropriate technological appliances(Sewage Suction Truck) will be complied with the subject Act applicable for all the BOQ Items.

Collection of dried sludge cake from the all chamber upto to the sand level once in a month and disposed of safly in suitable place not more than 50 KM form STP CGRA Kunjathbail complete all as specified and directed.

Collecting the waste water/effluent sample monthly from STP before and after treatment, sample handling, transporting to NABL accredited lab approved by authorities, carry out the analysis of the following latest IS method & submit to the Engineer-in-charge for approval / verification complete all as specified and directed. [Note:- (i) Payment shall be made only after submitting original test report to Engineer-in-charge & newly appointed Engineer-in-charge (ii) Each job consist of testing of sample before and after treatment of effluent of STP].

Cleaning the Raw sewage collection RCC sump of size 5.6 m x 4.1 m x 2.0 m once in 6 months.The cleaning includes (a) Dewatering the sump with portable submersible pump. (b) Removal of left over dirty water and sludge with a special sludge removal pump. (c) Removal of remaining sludge from the floor with the help of industrial vacuum Cleaner. (d) Spraying of Non-toxic, bio-degradable, eco-friendly anti-bacterial agent, to disinfect the tank from all harmful pathogens complete all as specified and directed

Cleaning internaly MS Activated carbon filter / MS Dual media filter of size 1000 mm dia and 1500 mm height for removing the filter media by brushing with nylon brush and using bleaching powder and cleaning of existing pipe holes after refilling of new filter media complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of underground sewage treated water sump 60000 ltr by using pump set or bucket & mug etc, Removing muds, silt sand etc from inside of tank and depositing in pit (depth of pit not less than 1.5 mtr) to a distance n.exc 50 mtr from tank including exacavation of suitable size of pit and returning, filling etc cleaning of tank with water, Removing moulds, moss,foreign materials etc from the internal surfaces of tank and from the mouth of pipe by scrapping with steel brushes or steel scrapping, disposing off waste materials to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and cleaning the internal surface with clean water. Spreading the thin layers of bleaching powder over the entire internal surface area of tank internally and washing with clean water. Applying one coat of lime wash to the internal surfaces and applying two acrylic exterior emlonson paint to the external surfaces of sump complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 8.00 above but cleaning of sewage treated water tank 12000 ltr complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Opening and servicing / overhauling of non - clogging sewage submersible pumping set of 2 HP capacity and transportation to workshop, dismantlng of pumping set complete segregating the serviceable parts for re-use and removing the defective parts such as bearing, water seal, casing king key, glands etc, repair the pump throughly including machine work re-assembling the pump set, making all electrical connection and commssioning testing complete on full load to the entire satisfaction complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the Non - clogging sewage submersible pumping set of 2 HP capacity and taking out the burnt motor from beds, transporting to civil work shop,removing the burnt /old defective winding and Rewinding the motor with same gauge supper enamelled copper wire of good insulation, varnishing, heating/drying and reassembling the motor and transporting to site , refixing and connecting the electrical connection, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed.

M & L Two coats of Synthetic enamel oil paint over a coat of red oxide primer of MBBR-1, MBBR-2, Tube settler, Chlorine cum Filter feed Tank, Dual media Filter, Activated Caarbon filter and conncected pipe lines out side surface and before painting preparetion of old painted surfaces with sand paper and surface make smooth of steel and iron of any description,when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint or otherwise as described complete and all as specified.

M & L Taking down Air Blower of capacity 500 CuM/hrs, RPM 1700, BHP 17.4 from the existing position after disconnecting all electrical connection and transportation to workshop for repair for un-serviceable parts complete and removing the defective parts, repair the air blower throughly including machine work, filling the oil upto required level in blower and re-assembling the air blower and commssioning testing complete on full load complete all as specified and directed. [Note:- New spares will be measured and paid separately].

M & L Dismantling the Electrical connection from motor and taking out the burnt 5 HP motor from beds, transporting to civil work shop, opening the motor and removing the burnt/old defective winding carefully cleaning the inner parts, Rewinding the motor with same gauge supper enamelled copper wire of good insulation, varnishing, heating/drying and reassembling the motor and transporting to site, refixing on the existing beds, connecting the electrical connection, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Opening and servicing / overhauling the Filter feed monoblock pump and motor 5 HP and replacing the defective bearing, greasing replacing the burnout gland rope, studs, nuts, bolts, washers, water seal, rubber gasket, turing/ grinding and balancing the shaft etc. varnishing the winding, drying and refixing the same complete all as specified and directed. (Note : spare parts are measured and paid in relevant items.)

S & F in repairs the following spares for filter feed pumps of capacity 5 HP including taking down filter feed pumps directed by Engineer-in charge.

(a) Pump impeller

(b) Pump ball bearing.

(c) Pump water seal

(d) Pump Gland.

Taking down Hypo dosing pump and rewinding with suitable gauge of copper conductor and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down Agitator and rewinding with suitable gauge of copper conductor and testing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs 10 HP air blower belt of sewage treatment plant complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of diffusers from diffuser grid assembly of aeration tank and replacement of fine bubble type diffusers dia 25mm x 380mm made of EPDM rubber extruded, diffuser frame fastner etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F flat submersible 1100 Volts grade, 3 core copper conductor PVC insulated and PVC sheathed cable of 6 Sqmm including taking down old material complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out defective pebbles, Supply and Laying filter media (pebbles) of size 10-20 mm and 25-40 mm in filter beds complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out defective coarse gravel, supply and laying filter media (coarse gravel/fine gravel) in filter bed complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out defective carbon media, Supply and Laying carbon filter media IV 800 to 1000 (iodinevalue) for two nos filter complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacing fine silex media in filter media beds complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and feed bleaching powder suitable for water disinfection complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Water hose strong HDPE laminated woven lay flat tube 2 inch with connecting arrangement for treated water complete all as specified and directed.
