STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing in position collapsible steel shutters with vertical channels 20 mm x10 mm x 2 mm and braced with flat iron diagonals 20 mm x 5 mm size with top and bottom rails of T iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm with 38 mm dia steel pulleys complete with bolts, nuts, locking arrangements, stoppers, handles including applying a priming coat of red lead paint.
Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made of 80 x 1.25 mm MS laths interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete but excluding the cost of the top cover and spring.

ROOFING WORK
Providing & fixing on roof pressed clay tile (Mangalore tile) of 20 mm nominal thickness and of approved size and as per approved pattern on steel frame work complete (steel frame work to be paid separately).
FINISHING WORK
12 mm cement plaster 1 : 6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand).
15 mm cement plaster 1 : 6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand) on the rough side of single or half brick wall.
6 mm cement plaster to ceiling 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).
Providing two coats of acrylic water based wall putty/ wall filler of Asian paints/ Berger / Dulux over concrete/ cement plaster / brick wall and ceilling both internal and external after removing all the loosely adhering material from the wall/ ceilling surface with the help of emery stone, putty, blade or wirw brush, moistenning the wall with the help of sufficient quality of clear water as specified and directed by department.
Painting two or more coats (excluding priming coat) with superior ready mixed paint for steel work of approved brand and manufacture in all shades on new work to give an even shade.
ALUMINIUM WORK
Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, window and ventilator and partitions with extruded built up standard section / approved Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS:733 and IS:1285, fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixed clip or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junction, at top, bottom, and sides with required PVC/ neoprene felt etc. Aluminium section shall be smooth, rust free straight, mitred jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle , Aluminum snap beading for glazing panelling C.P brass/ stainless stell srews all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer in charge (glazing and panelling to be paid separately ) Polyester powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of polyester powder coating 50 micron)
Providing and fixing glazing in aluminum door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with PVC/ neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of enginner - in charge ( cost of alumnium snap beading shall be paid in basic item With float glass panes of 5.5 mm thikness.
PVC & UPVC WORK
Bed & Other Door Sh utters:- Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & botiom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture. M.S. frame covered with 5 mm lhick heal moulded PVC ’C' channel ot size 30 mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 egree angle on bolh side forming styles and 5 min thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which hmm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the innei side lo form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC shee' out of which 75 mm shall de flat and 20 mm shall de tapered on bolh sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall de provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thi¢k, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheef be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of 5 mm thiCk doth side PVC sheet to de fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side, and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on lhe interior side of the 'C’ Channel using PVC solvent adhesive elc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, manufacturer's specification & drawing. a) 30 mm thick plain PVC door shutters
