Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out for laying of pipes etc in soft/loose soil .

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M where directed and at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point.

M & L for taking up cast iron (CI) / DI /GI water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints of any size all as specified and dirercted by Engr-in-Charge of seze 100 mm bore.

Providng any type of special tools & plants such as JCB, Hydra cranes, pumps & materials (such as lead, lead wool, detechable joints/ leak repair clamp suitable for CI/DI fittings,patsun/spun yarn, caller/short piece of pipes or any other fittings to be required to minimise the breakdown time and rectification of the problem as soon as posible. Rectification work must be start within two hours of intimation to contractor. Any delay in rectification may be penalised as deemed fit , Rate of excavation removing and returning filling willbe deemed to be included in the rate quoted by contractor.
