(c) Providing and fixing access floor panel of 600x600x35mm filled steel cementatious core panel with antistatic high pressure lamination of 2000H grade (FS 2000H).Access floor panel shall be steel welded construction with an enclosed bottom pan with uniform pattern of 64 hemispherical cones.The top and bottom plates of steel gauges : top 0.60mm and bottom 0.70mm fused spot welded together(minimum 64 welds in each dome and 20 welds along each flange).The panel should be corrosion resist epoxy coated and cavity formed by the top and bottom plate is filled with noncombustiable portland cementatious core mixed with lightweight foaming compound.The access floor shall be factory finished with Antistatic high pressure laminate with non warp technology upto 1mm thickness for superior adhesion and surface flatness within 0.75mm.The panel is to withstand a concentrated load of 8.50KN without collapse in the centre of panel. Item No 121 Contd. Note ( i )The inside design condition shall be acheived by simultaneous operation of AC Plant and dehumidifier catered item No 144, 145 & 146 below. (ii) Before commencement of work,the contractor shall obtain design details from OEM and submit the same for the approval of Accepting officer,duly supported with all relevent specifications of each components of AC plant,line diagram,Duct dimensions and guage details with insulation method including duct layout plan & heat load calculation etc. (iii) The tenderer should visit the site and work out heat load based on the building Plan, structural specifications, outside/inside parameters equipment load (in consultaion with users) and design parameters ( as given in the tender), The plant capacity shall be increased if required to achieve the above condition without any extra cost, for smooth operation.
Item No 121 contd/.. iv) The tenderer shall be responsible for the plant to achieve the design conditions on any day of the year irrespective of the full load capacity given in the schedule, and technical parameters which are given on not less than basis. (v) The AC plant and other accessories shall be commissioned by the original OEM. vi) The configuration of plant capacity shall be based on manufactures design but it shall be of 2 units each capable of meeting 50% of full load capacity so as to meet the full load working together at a time and an additional 1 unit running with 50 % of full load capacity as standby independently (i.e 2 units working + 1 unit standby). vii) The contractor shall submit a certificate from the OEM confirming that the entire AC plant work shall be got installed through them/ their accredited agencies duly incorporateing their recommended make. viii) The A/C plant and AHUs will be housed in the existing space/room at NIAT Building. The tenderer should visit the site and check the site conditions before quoting the tender so as to incorporate any changes needed to install the plant in the location and rate quoted shall be included in the quote. (ix) First charge of refrigerant,compressor oil,lubricants etc and maintaining it at desired level even when leakage occurs during defect liability period is deemed to be the responsibility of the tenderer. (x)Contractor has to conclude AMC for comprehensive maintenance of all the plants/equipment for 2 years from date of completion with the OEM//Authorized service cener of OEM. The AMC for comprehensive maintenance shall be in the name of GE(NS) Kochi and rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted for each item and nothing extra shall be paid seperately for AMC. Contractor shall submit the AMC agreement along with completion letter and completion will not be issued if the same is not produced.

The rate shall include RCC foundation for mounting, vibration isolators, Nults, Bolts and all necessories accessories as per OEM Recommendation. The COP Of the Chiller shall be more than 4.1 COP @ 100% Load & IPLV shall be more than 6 COP @ AHRI Conditions. The rate shall also include control Panel, Power cables, Communication cables, gas charging with ECo friendly refrigerent (iii) One set shell and tube water cooled scroll chiller units suitably insulated having shell and plain copper tubes all as specified and as pe rmanufacturer’s design.

(B) Chilled water cooling arrangement comprising of the following:- (i) Supply and fixing MS class 'C', heavy duty ERW chilled water piping(pre insulated) of one lot of adequate size including fittings and fixtures duly welded, laid in air/ground, inside/ outside the building along as required for installation at actual site conditions.(ii) Piping insulation shall be expanded polyurathane foam with 36 kg/ cum minimum density, 90% minimum closed cell content, compressing strength should be as req and thermal conductivity of 0.14Btu-in/hr/ft2/OF.(iii) The insulation shall completely fill the annular space btw the service pipe & jacket. All the fittings & bends shall be finished with the same finish as specified necessary clamps, nuts, bolts etc adequately supported on rigid primary and secondary support for recirculation of chilled water complete with balancing valve for chiller inlet, out let connection and circulating the chilled water from AHU to pump, pump to chiller inlet, chiller outlet to AHU and necessary connection to chilled water expansion tank along with water pressure gauge/thermometer in chiller inlet and outlet, (iv) AHU inlet and AHU outlet connection complete with factory fitted PUF insulation with 24 Gauge aluminium cladding and all accessories comprising control valves like butterfly valves, balancing valves, Y-strainers, non return valves, pressure gauges, needle valves, thermometers, water flow switches, suitable EPDM bellows. (v) Chilled water line inside the building may be supported with MS angle with necessary grouting arrangements.

(ii) Three Nos mono block centrifugal chilled water pump set with bronze impeller of suitable capacity each of 100% capacity of Chillers (2 No working and 1 No standby) coupled with TEFC 3 phase, 4 pole squirrel cage induction motor suitable for operation on 50 Hz, 415 volts AC supply along with suitable foundation with anti-vibration rubbers pads with suitable starter with overload protection, protection against phase reversal and single phase preventer and 2 Nos dial type (150mm) water pressure gauge with suitable needle valves, butter fly valves on suction and delivery lines, suction guide with strainer, check valves on delivery lines etc. (iii) Chilled water expansion tank of capacity not less than 1000 litres made out of minimum 03 mm thick GI plate construction including insulation with 13 mm thick cross linked polyethylene of self adhesive with aluminium foil protection. The tank shall be complete with necessary connection for piping vent and make up connection with necessary float valve, drain valve, incoming/outgoing line valves, and drain connection with control valve and necessary inter connection complete all as specified.

(iv) Two No. PVC makeup water tank of 5,000 Ltrs capacity ISI marked triple layered erected on RCC staging of suitable height and size with necessary foundation and PCC hard standing on surrounding area to a width of not less than 750 mm from the platform of makeup water tank including inlet from the exisiting water connection point as directed by engr-in- charge at site by using pipe line connections for inlet & out let should be suitable sizes of CPVC pipes for required water discharge and outlet for continueous water flow for the smoothfunction of system, overflow connection and float valve assembly and a butterfly valve to connect the cooling tower.

(F) A lot of air distribution system including supply air and return air ducting from AHU room to the wall/ ceiling of the conditioned space where duct is entering inside the conditioned space/leaving the conditioned space, size of ducts as finalised before commencement of work and guages/ make of duct material as mentioned in the PS with suitable hot dip galvanised supporting arrangements including primary and secondary support including necessary foundation for support etc complete with adjustable dampers, vanes etc complete as per specification and as per ducting layout marked tentatively on site plan to provide the required qty of supply air in the condition room to achieve the designed parameters with desirable velocity and noise level with uniform distribution of air and comprises of following accessories:-
Sl item No. 121 contd/. (i) Mechanical Fire dampers shall be provided in both supply are return air ducts of each room fusible type approved for 90 Minutes fire rating as per UL-555-1995 also in main supply air duct and in main branch wherever shown in duct layout drawings(in AHU room)including control wiring. The dampers shall be made of heavy gauge galvanized steel having multi blade construction. The blades shall be fitted with chrome plated shaft and self lubricated phosphorus bronze bushes. The dampers shall also be provided with jam seal (compression type) on sides to prevent spread of smoke and fire. The blades of the dampers are held in the ‘open’ position by a high tensile spring and a fusible link. The fusible link should be UL stamped and operates at 74˚C, causing the damper to close immediately on break fire to prevent the spread of fire through the ducts.

NOTES:-(i) The design ,installation and maintenance of the above item shall be performed by those agencies competent in the respective field in accordance with IS 15496-2004.(ii) The Installer of the clean agent system shall be certified by a National/International agency and his certification shall be valid at the time of Installation. (iii) Contractor shall submit the certificates of his design/executing agency for approval of GE before finalising them.
(iv) Before commencement work, the contractor shall submit design details from the approved agency for the approval of Accepting Officer, duly supported withall relevent specifications of each components, line diagram, plan, Design calculation etc (v) The tenderer should visit the site and work out the scheme based on the actual room size and site conditions and capacity shall be increased if required to achieve the required protection level as per standards with out any extra cost.(vi)Contractor has to conclude AMC for comprehensive maintenance of all the plants/equipment for 2 years from date of completion with the OEM//Authorized service cener of OEM. The AMC for comprehensive maintenance shall be in the name of GE(NS) Kochi and rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted for each item and nothing extra shall be paid seperately for AMC. Contractor shall submit the AMC agreement along with completion letter and completion will not be issued if the same is not produced.

(C) AMF SYNCHRONISING & CONTROL PANEL :: Synchronising Panel suitable for 2 x 250KVA DG set with 2 Nos. incomer and 1 No. Outgoing and Aluminium Busbar with Metering and Protection . Panel includes Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Control System , factory made shall be able to start up the DG set and transfer the load on to the DG set on mains failure without requiring any human intervention. Similarly on restoration of mains supply, it shall be able to transfer the load to mains supply and switch off the DG set automatically. NOTE:-(i)The DG panel and AMF panel shall be complete with internal wiring with suitable size of multi stranded copper cable. Under gorund pneumatic horrzondal drilling of holes under road, pavment, hard stanading as required length at site by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique with necessary horrizondal direction drilling machine including providing HDPE Pipe 50 mm outer dia 0.40 M Pa including necessary joint connections and laying LT/HT cable. The contractor shall conduct under ground scanning to detect existing HT/LT cable line , sewage line, OFC Cable etc to avoid damage. The entry/exist hoel must be large enough to fit the drilling tool and the operator in it so they can aim the tool. The hole also must be deep enough that as the tool compacts the ground and the surface to be remain undisturbed. The deapth of the starting bore pit depends on the type of the soil that is being worked in and how well it compacts. The operator shall aim the tool the desire exit point and allow it to perform its function creating a bore hole under the ground without disturbing surfaces. The operator also should monitor the surface to make sure that, it is undisturbed. As the tool near to the exit point it is slowed down and the exit pit should be dug to locate both the tool and the bore. As the tool enters the exit pit the operator should choose either digup the tool to retrive it or reverses the tool back into the first bore pit to retrieve it including connected earth work, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
Supply, Fabricate, install, test and commission outdoor inclined top type feeder pillar board having suitable width with GP CRCA Sheet powder coated with all necessary frame work with angle iron of size 40 mm x 40 mm and thickness 5 mm, CPRI type tested, IP-54 protection provision for bus bar chamber including Electrolytic Grade Cu. (Tin Plating) of 1500 amps for phase and 1500 amps for neutral for incoming and out going supply duly laminated with PVC sleeves with colour coding, plate for fixing ACBs, MCCB's, cover plate for covering MCCB's with openings for MCCB's knobs including two nos hinged doors, front and back openable with locking arrangements and by pass arrangement with change over. The cabinet and all accessories should be chemically treated with nine process for anticorrosive treatment. COMPREHENSIVE AMC - Comprehensive AMC for the FIRST YEAR after completion of defect liability period for Fire Hydrants, Fire Alarm & Gas Suppression System installed at P-81 Simulator for Aircraft at NIAT for the following works : (a) AMC FOR FIRE ALARM SYSTEM (i)Testing of entire Fire Alarm system during site visit such as General servicing of Manual Call Points including cleaning, checking etc. once in three months. (ii)General Servicing of Hooter including cleaning. (iii)General Servicing of Fire Alarm Panel including cleaning & checking.
(b) AMC FOR GAS SUPPRESSION SYSTEM (i) Includes checking of Gas Suppression System during site visit, once in every three months. (ii) General checking and simulation of suppresion system using spar cylinders. (iii)Checking of discharge lines, working of electromagnetic devices / solenoid valves, directional valves, nozzels, gauges etc, and cleaning of components etc. (iv)General servicing of Manual release switches, abort switches etc include cleaning, checking etc. (v)General servicing of Gas release Panel and device including cleaning, checking.

Outsourcing operation of A/C plant for the fifth year after completion of work of minimum capacity 3 x 40 TR chiller plant with AHU- 2 Nos and Dehumidifiers- 11 Nos, with all A/C plant equipments and machineries complete at P8I NIAT, Naval Base operation for 8 hrs in 3 shifts per day round the clock duty timings as directed by Engineer-in-charge on all days in a month including holidays and sundays with trained technicians with minimum National Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning Trade Complete.Note for BoQ item Nos. 218, 219,224,229 & 234:- 1)The rates quoted is deemed to include expenses towards daily checkups at plant and equipments, including cleaning the equipment, equipment room, operation of the plant, taking reading at regular intervals as directed by Engineer-in-charge and recording the same in log book.2)All operators shall be provided with uniform, tools and protective safety gears and cost is included in the rate quoted in BoQ items.3)All cleaning materials like cotton waste, water, soap, chemicals, etc and all stationary items like log books, attendance register, pen, paper, etc shall be included in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid for the same.4)The operators shall be available over telephone/ mobile phone at any time and charges towards maintaining the same is also deemed to be included in the quoted rates.5)Cost of AMC for 1st & 2nd year shall be included in the rate quoted in BoQ item Nos. 121 to 146 and it has to be done free of cost by the contractor under defect liability period.
