Section 100-Civil and allied works

Painting on existing painted surface (walls & ceiling) : a) Cleaning of the existing painted surface by using suitable sand paper so that to make entire area sufficient rough to get new painting course. It includes removing loose surface, pen markings & stains observed on walls if any and repairing it by wall putty. Prepared surface to be get verified by Engineer In-charge (EIC). b) Filling cracks using crack filler and holes/dents using wall putty. Damp area treated by damp block Damp proof (compulsory application for duct, toilet & outer wall between skirting level / floor level & upto height 1.2 mt). Chalki surface treated by applying sealer coat wherever required. c) Apply a priming coat over complete surface. d) Providing & applying two or more coats of apocolite premium emulsion paint on prepared surface up to the satisfaction of EIC. First coat by using brush and second coat by roller to get even shade as approved by engineer in charge. (Actual area will be measured & paid) On final coat, painted surface should look uniform. e) It includes covering the floor with plastic paper, cleaning the floor and switch plates. f) No extra payment shall be made for any extra coat if required in case of painted surface is not uniform. g) Rate shall be inclusive of providing, erecting, and dismantling of form work (H-frame) upto single floor height as and when required.)

Painting on exposed RCC surface (walls & ceiling): a) Cleaning the existing exposed RCC surface to remove any dust and loose foreign material by any suitable tools. b) Providing and applying two coats of wall putty with one coat of wall primer to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer. c) The rates shall be inclusive of surface preparation; filling cracks using crack filler. Filling holes / dents using wall putty. d) Providing and applying two coats of apocolite premium emulsion paint, cleaning the floor, doors, windows and switch boards etc. complete as directed. e) Rate shall be inclusive of providing, erecting, and dismantling of form work (H-frame) upto single floor height as and when required.

Furniture lacquer polish The complete wood work (inside & outside) shall be cleaned of grease and dirt by rubbing fine sand paper and providing and applying two or more coats of Lacquer polish (Taralac or eqv.) on following items. It also includes matching with suitable colour pigment if required in case of dull looking furnitures as instructed by EIC. Enamel paint to metal members if any in case of table or wooden chairs. Sizes are indicative it may vary +/- 100mm. Note : Photos of relevant items are attached in NIT.

Window & door tel polish: Doors, windows & louvers with wooden frame a) The wood work shall be cleaned of grease and dirt by rubbing fine sand paper from all sides and providing and applying tel polish two or more coats of safola or CAT linseed oil on existing doors, windows & pannels. b) Internal surfaces of louvers, door & window frames all to be painted. No extra will be provided for that portion. c) Rate shall be inclusive of providing, erecting, and dismantling of form work (H-frame) upto single floor height as and when required. For measurement, elevation area will be considered. Area of glass, laminate and mosquite net will be deducted at actual from whole pannel area.

Gypsum board False ceiling: Gyproc make gypsum board (12mm thick) and sections to be used for the work. It includes all required accessories & fiber tape for joinery. Sample gypsum false ceiling done at IMDC Room no. -4114. Quantity beak up : Approx size of false ceiling. (i) 3.00 m x 0.70 m x 332 nos. (ii) 3.00 m x 0.15 m x 332 nos.

Soft board cloth work: Soft board cloth repalcement (approx size- 1.75 x 0.55 mt) Light shade polyster fabric as per sample done at IMDC Room no. -4114. Basic rate for fabric- Rs 250 per RMT.

Cloth Curtain: (i) Removing existing bamboo chick curtians with their fixtures and disposing out of campus at unobjectoinable place OR depositing some of them at IIMA Maintenance Dept. as per IIMA decision. (ii) SITC of Cutomised stiched Curtains as per site masurements made of 100% polyester fabic with minimum 240 GSM and approved make and shade as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Rates including black out Astar fabric backing and fitting and installation, complete in all respect. (iii) SITC of Arabian curtain channel of 2mm thickness with powder coating finish. Complete with necessary runners and intallation. (iv) Curtain Fabric: Sarrom / SJ/ D Decore or Equivalent as approved by IIMA, Basic rate = Rs. 300/- per RMT ( for 54" width - panna) (v) Arabian Channel: Decolu / Liger or equlivalent as approved by IIMA. (vi) Black out Fabric: Standard quality as approved by IIMA. Sample work done in IMDC Room no. -4113 & 4114 or will be change as per IIMA requirement within same rates. The curtians height should be 30mm (+/-20mm) above the floor surface.

Raceway for AC services: Raceway prepared from 18mm & 6mm thick plywood to hide the AC pipes and cable work. It includes painting all complete as per the sample done. It should be open, as whenever required. Approximate size- 450mm (+/-50) X 150mm X 100mm.

Nylon Bird net for balconies: Providing & fixing in position bird net at balcony openings made of weather proof high density polyethylene nylon ultraviolet net approx. size 25 mm x 25 mm square gap as per sample black or white colour as per requirement. Net to be fixed on wall or RCC surface using S.S. screw or hooks of appropriate size and at appropriate distance (approximate-230mm) as per site requirement. Actual area of the surface covered will be measured and paid. The rate is inclusive of working at all heights and levels and necessary safety measures. It includes sealing holes with suitable non-shrink cementious grout matching to wall surface.

Closing window AC opening: Providing and fixing 6mm thick IS-710 Ply wood sheet at the opening of the window AC above the balcony door. It include creating backing support by fixing 1" x 3/4" wooden patti for fixing ply wood. Rate including necessary tel pani finish matching to the existing woodwork. Approx. Size= 680 mm x 450 mm (+/-50mm)

Toilet door upgradation: Removal of existing veneer sheet (one side) of toilet door and installation of 1 mm thick teak wood mathcing laminate matt finish on room side. And installation of 1 mm thick white / Ivory laminate matt finish from toilet side. Finishing beading patti as per situation and polish etc. works as required. (Door size- 0.67 m x 2.13 m) (55 doors to be done out of total 158 doors)

Replacement of existing damaged veneer: Replacement of exisitng damaged veneer surface from table top or cupboard or toilet cabinet or Tea-poy with new similar matching veneer as required by EIC. It inlcludes lacquer polishing all complete.

Replacement of 5mm thick wired glass: Replacement of 5mm thick wired glass from aluminium sliding door. Old glass to be shifted outside the campus at unobjectionable place. No extra will be paid for the same.

Section 200-Electrical work

Switch boards :- Safe removal of old switchboards and accessories, Deposit to Electrical Store. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new modular switchboards, white colour, fine finish as per following details :-

Supply of round ceiling mounted LED fixture with glare free opal diffuser (Above study table - 01 in each room, At entrance - 01 in each room). Wattage-15 Watt CCT - 6500k Make- Phillips, Crompton, Halonix or equivalent. Dia - 120 mm or above.

Dismentaling & reinstallation of Television with proper alignment & without any damage.

Common area work

Supply of round ceiling mounted LED fixture with glare free opal diffuser (At corridor - 8 Nos in each corridor). Wattage-15 Watt CCT - 6500k Make- Phillips, Crompton, Halonix or equivalent. Dia - 120 mm or above.

Maintenance Free Earth Pits. Supply & making of maintenance free Earthing station with the use of 19/21mm dia copper Rod, 3M long with 50kg- grounding material (back fill compound with moisture capture capacity and reuse soil) resistivity - scope includes supply of electrode/ back fill compund / labour charges of bore of 300- 3.5 mtrs depth/making earth chember with 450 mm x 450 mm x CI / FRP cover Installation detail - making 3.5 m depth bore - 100 mm fill with chemical compund paste / put electrode in centre of bore / fill up balance space of bore with chemical compund / balck cotton soil ( if avilable ) paste - carefull for no air gap in paste. Final acceptable resistance value to be achieved-LESS THEN 1 OHM.

Supply, Laying,connection & testing of earthing strips for connection equipments with earthing grid in trenches/on Cable trays,on wall,buried in ground. Size - 25 mm x 6 mm GI Earthing strip.

Section 300-HVAC and allied works

SITC of 1.5 Ton, 5-star capacity split AC unit with required core cutting work, Compressor type - Rotary Compressor, Refrigerant - R-32 / R-410A, Indoor & Outdoor Unit color - White, Condenser & Evaporator Coil - Copper, Oscillation of Lover (4-way) - Horizontal & Vertical, Cools up to (Celsius) - 52°C / above, Accessories - Remote stand, remote batteries, and 3-pin 16A plug top. Suggested brands: Blue Star, Mitsubishi, Daikin, O-General, or equivalent approved make. Warranty - All-in-all comprehensive service & maintenance work for 1+2 years, (including 3 dry services and 1 wet service per year.) 1-year company comprehensive service + 2-year extended comprehensive service. 1.All complaints must be attended to within 24 hours of receipt. Major repairs such as compressor replacement/repair, gas charging, or fan/blower motor replacement must be completed within 7-days or as per urgency. 2.During maintenance work, the contractor must ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment such as tool bags, ladders, trolleys, etc., on-site throughout the CAMC period. 3.Repair or replacement of AC remote controllers & Indoor unit AC filter under bidder scope. 4.The bidder needs to maintain a minimum of 1 set each of PCB, fan blade, indoor and outdoor motor, indoor unit swing motor, etc., on-site to avoid unnecessary delays during breakdown calls.

SITC of MS stand for AC outdoor unit using MS angles of 35 mm x 35 mm x 5 mm with mechanical SS Anchor fasteners (4 nos. ofapprox. 75 mm to 100 mm length) including necessary one coat of primer, two coats of enamel painting etc. complete (As per annexure_1 details)

Removal of MS box pipe grill at lintel level for installation of MS angle stand and outdoor unit. Carrying out necessary modifications (such as making it openable with help of heavy duty hinges & MS aldrop), and reinstallation after completion of associated installation works. (As per annexure_1 details)

SITC 20 mm dia PVC condensed water drain pipe with required accessories and fittings.

Core cut of 30 mm Diameter approx. in RCC slabs (Including flooring above RCC slab) for PVC condensed water pipe line

Section 400-Removal and refixing of partitions at IMDC Dining hall

Dismanteling & shifting the existing partitions (East & West side)-

Labour charges for removing and refixing of existing partitions within 10 feet distance including removing of existing plywood, clear glass, wooden louvers, floor spring and refixing the same as per site requirement with all necessary tools tackles, fixing accessories as fastners, screws, nails and silicon for joints to make them leak proof. It includes all to dismantel them, shift and fit it at new location. Glasses between the pannels if broken during dismanteling are to be replaced with new one on their risk and cost. No extra will be paid for that. Holes exposed after dismanteling in the concrete wall to be filled with cementious grout matching with exposed concrete finish. Unused members to be shifted to scrap yard in the campus. Size of partition- 24'2" X 9'4"-2 nos (Refer annexure for photo)

Fixing floor spring: It includes making pockets in the floor for fixing new floor spring for west side partition. Old floor spring pockets to be filled with cement concrete and new polished kota stone to be laid over it. 90 degree openable type; make- Everite; Size- 300 x 200mm

Providing and fixing new 6MM IS-710 BWP plywood to the existing partition.

Providing, fabricating & fixing M.S box section of size: 40 X 40mm x 3.2mm to the existing partition.

Providing, fabricating & fixing M.S box section of size: 25 X 25mm x 2mm (for filling 25mm gap on the top) to the existing partition.

Oil paint/ tel pani polish to wood work and metal frame including cleaning old polish / paint. (Glass area will be deducted and front area will only be consider for payment purpose and no extra will be paid for frames) MS members to be applied with zinc yellow primer and two coats of enamel paint. Providing and fixing new wooden member of size- 50 X 20 mm (ghana 1st class teak wood) to the existing partition. Partition is a composite pannel made up of metal, wooden & glass.

Shifting existing curtains: Removing and refixing existing curtains with all required accessories. Curtain are roller type fixed at concrete beam bottom. Curtains width varries from 18" to 48". Care to be taken during dismanteling. If curtain broken or fabric torn, then it need to be replaced with the new one on their risk and cost. No extra will be paid for that.

Removing the existing partitions (North side/ main entrance)-

Labour charges for removing four partitions including removing of plywood, glass, louvers with all necessary tools tackles. Glasses between the pannels if broken during dismanteling are to be replaced with new one on their risk and cost. No extra will be paid for that. Holes in the concrete wall to be filled matching to exposed concrete finish. Unused members to be shifted to scrap yard in the campus. Making wooden beam at lintel level: It includes preparing beam at lintel level (beam size- 8" x 24"; length-10 feet) from 18mm thick IS-710 plywood & necessary accessories. Front area will be consider for measurement. Refer annexure for photo & drawing

Refixing and customized partition:

a) East side -Main entrance door partitions-5 to be erected in all respect complete. Size-11'6" x 9'4" b) North side (partition-6 on ground floor)- Size- 7' x 9'4" c) West side (partition-7 on ground floor)- Size- 9'8" x 21'6" (Double height) d) West side (partition-8 on first floor)- Size- 9'8" x 9'6" Above proposed partitions are to be customized from dismantelled partitions. It also includes additional similar members required to complete the partition with all fixing accessories as fastners, screw, nails and silicon filling to make leak proof. It includes cutting of MS sections, glasses and ply wood to fabricate a required size of new partition to fit in the given size. Glasses between the pannels if broken during fixing are to be replaced with new one on their risk and cost. No extra will be paid for that. Refer annexure for photo & drawing

Additional new work for making partition-7 (double height): Making new part partition for completing partition-7. This partition will be similar to the existing in terms of MS section & ply wood specifications. Approximate size- 9'8" x 3'-1nos Approximate size- 1'8" x 9'4"-2nos Refer annexure for photo & drawing

Providing and fixing H-frame scaffolding: a) Providing and fixing scaffolding / H-frame on the exterior side, for double height work only with 40mm dia. M.S. tube. b) The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features (Fall arrester, safety belt, helmet, safety shoes, safety jacket) for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer In-charge. c) The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding at any location. Only one time will be paid for same location. d) Safety board designating "Work is in Progress" around scaffolding system to be installed. Safety barricades & tapes to be placed aroud the area of work.

Providing, fabricating & fixing M.S box section of size: 40 X 40mm x 3.2mm required for partition-7 to fill the gap at top & side (double height).

Clear glass: Providing and fixing 5mm thick clear glass with necessary fixtures as directed for fix glazing.

Temporary partition: Dining area is operational. Temporary partition to be erected to close the dining area untill the final partition is erected in position. The partition should be capable of maintaining the air conditioning within the area intact.

Floor protection: Floor protection mat to be laid over the working area with suitable adhesive tape and disposed it after used.

Section 500-Electrical work for Dining hall

Point wiring :- Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Light Point wiring include supply & Laying of 25 mm dia MMS PVC conduit/casing & accessories in brick wall & ceiling, 2 X 1.5 SQ.MM copper flexible HFFR wires (with proper colour coding) as a mains wiring from Switch board to light fixture including modular switchboard. Wire - Havells, Polycab, Finolex.

Section 600-Buy Back items

Carefully removal of the 1.5 TR capacity OLD Window AC from the fix ventilator of the room. Taking it away. (Bidder has to quote buy back price/rate higher than base price mentioned in the item description, Base price is INR 5,000=00)

Carefully removal of the loose furnitire- low height veneer finished wooden storage unit, size-1.19 x 0.45 x 0.59 mt from the each room. Taking it away. (Bidder has to quote buy back price/rate higher than base price mentioned in the item description, Base price is INR 3,000=00)
