Uprooting and Removing Stumps & roots, compaction of backfilling and stacking of serviceable material by manual means as per Technical Specifications Cause 201 for Rural Roads of MORD. A. Lead upto 100m (i) Gerth at brest height up to 600mm.

(ii) Gerth at brest height above 600 mm to 900 mm

Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from ole black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed (a)by manual means (i) from 25 mm to 50 mm thick.

Providing laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grate and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering intluding lighting, gurading, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filing including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Secifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision) (i)Grading-II aggregate (53mm to 22.4mm) using stone screenig type B(11.2mm) B. Manual Means

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles (iii) 12.5 cm av diameter

Labour for fitting and fixing 10 cm to 13 cm dia Sal-bullah / Eucalyptus-bullah as ties and runners including necessary nails bolts and nuts

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Extra rate over Item Nos.11 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres.

Extra rate over Item Nos.11 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre.

Earthwork in excavation In all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land, including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking A) Beyond 500 m and upto 1.00 Km

For compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by the contractor add Rs.25.00 per m³ extra over rate of E/W for land owned/arranged by the Department. Royalty Charge on earth @ Rs.29.00 per m³ & Cesses Charges @ Rs.5.30 Per m³ (i.e., Rs.15.00 per cft.), as per govt. notification, which will be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalties & Cesses. (Quantity from item no. 24 & 25)

Supplying R.C.C.spun pipes collars including loading, carriage, unloading at site. a)Collar-300 dia, NP-2 Grade.

Supplying,laying ,fitting &fixing R.C.C spun pipes and collers with cement morter (1:3) including fixing the pipes collers with jute,pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. a) Spun pipes-600 dia, NP-2 Grade

Supplying RCC spun pipe collars including loading , carriage , unloading at site. a)Collar-600 dia, NP2 Grade

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1.5:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitabfe means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost, including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks / ply wood / steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction b) where staging is not requied

Fine dressing and making the crest to correct camber and grade by cutting and filling earth where necessary including extra earth.

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro- reflectorised sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 7,5 mm x 6 mm, 2 Nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)
