Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc including taking out cable cover or stone slab, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated any type of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed, at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning to undergound cable with using fine river sand and gently punning for cushioning to cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-for the purpose of payment only punned thickness will be measured.

M&L old size brick class "B" as in cable protection laid dry,flat,transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning with width equalto length of the brick complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate for pedestal including necessary formwork and fair finishing to exposed surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates for foundation of poles / struts / stays etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantiling/uprooting of LT/HT pre-stressed concrete poles /steel poles of any size and shape including taking out dismantled portion of pole embended in ground after necessary demolition of foundation concrete and making good disturded ground properly and removing excess material to distance of 100m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate,finial taper plug,bolts,nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9metres long) including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of aluminium paints,making 30cm wide strips (total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paints alternative on pole above PCC padestal and writing pole No complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work and PCC work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items

M&L cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps,ladder and back plates fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washer, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer including taking down old unserviceable cross arms,bracing etc,complete all as specified and directed.

M&L painting to existing steel tublar LT poles 9m long alongwith cross arm, channels, angle suport, bracings, clamps etc with two coats of aluminium paint to all exposed surfaces of poles including providing 30cm wide strip (total 5 Nos) with white and black paint alternatively above PCC padestal including writing MES LT Pole No in capital letters using fluorescent paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note:- Measurement and payment shall be made by measuring horizontal distance between centres of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Trimming /cutting of trees branches, bushes obstructing the HT/LT lines making clear distance of 2 metre from the outer conductors of OH lines around substations fencing, around pump house area, below surrounding of OHTs including removing of branches / bushes of trees from site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
