Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil for taking up or laying of cable, complete all as specified & directed. Note : Due care shall be taken while deciding cable route for excavation. However any damage to Signal, BSNL, MES cable water/sewage pipe or any other service while excavation will be made good by the contractor and cost of the same for jointing material & labour is deemed to be included in the cost of excavation.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide exc 1.5 mtr in deep but not exceeding 3.0 mtr deep and getting out for foundation of poles etc. in any type of soil, complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm, complete all as specifed & directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified & directed.

Sand cushioning to under ground cable, laid in trenches 8cm thick below the cable and 15cm thick above the cable after laying and stretching the cable complete punned to 18cm, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand will be measured and paid.

Brick well burnt locally available sub class 'B' laid over sand cushioning for mechanical cable protection in trenches with width of brick perpendicular to the length of cable, complete all as specified & directed.

PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of poles etc including necessary form work, finished exposed surface even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified & directed.

PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping of pole etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in stay, foundations, filling and mass concrete including necessary form work, complete all as specified & directed.

Steel tubular swaged poles in vertical position/as strut poles swaged type 410-SP-31, 9 Mtr long, ISI marked complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts washers and screws as required duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer above ground level including painting below GL (externally) with two coats of bituminous paint, numbering of poles with cut stencil lettering in size 6mm thick and 50mm high and white and black strips of size 30cm width each with synthetic elamel paint upto 1.5m above coping etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. Earth work and PCC will be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items.

Stay Assembly using stay rod of 20mm dia with complete accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 of SSR 2009 Part-I such as loop type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown or green, large size with overall dimensions 90x140mm clearance of hole 25.5mm, stay wire of size 7/2.24mm, stay plate 300x300x6mm thick, 14mm dia 400mm long GI stay bow, 20mm dia 1.9m long GI stay rod etc., complete all as specified & directed. Note :- Earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid for separately)

Unbinding of loose ACSR conductor of any size and any type on LT/HT poles including earth wire and re-stretching the same to required sag and binding the conductors with new binding wire, jumpering of conductors, re-connecting of service connection, street light connection etc.

Taking down existing worn out/rusted GI earth wire, cradles, guards of any size and shape at any position from steel/pre-stressed concrete LT/HT poles and stretching new GI earth wire of 8 SWG (4 mm dia) on LT/HT poles for continuous earth wire/guards and cradles (hexagonal/rectangular) including binding with 1.6 mm dia GI wire etc, complete all as specified & directed.

ACSR conductor of any size drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators, weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag, jointing jumpers etc, complete all as specified & directed.

Structural steel work as in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plate fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed by Engineer-in-Charge and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation of surfaces including dismantling of existing cross arms, complete all as specified & directed.

Shackle type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green 100mm high and 115mm dia for conductor of working pressure 1100 volts including galvanised mild steel straps of 31x5mm size, 14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts including dismantling of existing old unserviceable insulators, complete all as specified & directed.

TRANSFORMERS Taking down carefully transformer of 50 KVA to 75 KVA capacity from four pole and two pole structures, platform, transporting of transfromer to workshop and draining out the transformer oil in clean barrels, opening the top cover of the transformer oil, disconnecting the electrical connection, taking out the core/winding coils out of the tank, taking the defective/burnt out HT/LT coils, cleaning the tank and cleaning out the dust particles, refitting the core in the tank after necessary repairs (repair shall be measured and paid separately) and heat treatment, connecting all the electrical connections, refitting the top cover and other accessories and making the transformer absolutely leak proof, pouring in the insulating oil in the transformer, before installation all test should be carried out i.e. load test, insulation test, Di- electric strength test satisfactory and transporting the transformer and back to same placing in position and securing properly on 4 pole/2pole structure/platform at site and making all HT/LT connections, installation,testing and commissoning complete all as specified and directed . Note (a) The rates are inclusive of transportation of transformer from site of installation to workshop and back including T&P required. (b) HT/LT winding will be measured and paid separately.) :-

Filtration, heating and dehydration of transformer oil (at site) on load system, EHV grade having dielectric strength not less than 40 KV (RMS) with 4mm gap high viscosity in transformer of capacity of 50 KVA to 200 KVA as per IS-335 of 1983 for reducing of moisture, acidity carbon particle in transformer oil, complete all as specified & directed. Note :- The filtration, heating and dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at site. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to included for arrangement of filtration machine and its transportation to various locations of installation of transformer and toping up of Transformer Oil.

Repair/maintenance of brick masonary plateform of size 3 x 3 x 1.2 m by rendering 10mm thick cement mortar in cement mortar 1:3 on old fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces all around, 10 cm thick PCC B-1(1:2:4) work on top of plateform, new MS iron fencing, painting on cement plastered surfaces all around of plateform and MS iron fencing with two coats of synthetic enamelled plastic paint over a coat of primer, letter writing in 65 mm height as Transformer Srl No, Make, SM No, Date of Installation, Location etc including taking out old cement mortar/lime mortar plaster, demolition of old broken PCC on top of plateform and removing the demolished material (old PCC & plaster) at a distance not less than 50 mtr away from starting point, complete all as specified & directed.

REPAIR TO DG SET Carrying out servicing/maint of 110 KVA DG set, Make : 'Greaves/Kirloskar' including 'B' check as per manufacturers mannual through authorised dealer of DG set manufacturer of existing DG Make and testing of DG set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- All material/spares parts required for carrying out above maintenance/servicing shall be measured and paid separetely as 'Supply only' items as mentioned below and shall be of make-Greaves/Kirloskar/Cummins as per make of DG set and labour element required for replacing the spares parts including replacement of minor spare parts which are essential for carrying out servicing/maintenance of DG sets shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer against item No. 01 above.

Repair/servicing of radiator assembly of 110 KVA DG Set (Kirloskar) after dismanteling and removing cooling fans, guard plates and lowering the same from engine after draining out water from radiator and scrapping / removing sludge / scale inside tank with acid including replacement MS tank (botom portion) at rusted portion by cutting/ welding / brazing with 2mm thick copper plate including painting. Remounting the same at its original position and repalcement of pre mixed coolent as per the ratio fixed by manufacturer and testing complete all as directed by Enginer-in-Charge. (Note- Pre mixed coolent shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule)

Supply and fixing new Self starter, auto lock, 12/24V of existing make, on the 110 KVA DG Set and taking out u/s self starter from DG set.

All as per item No. 113 but for 15/25/30 KVA DG Set.

Dismantling and repair/calliberation of fuel pump of 110 KVA DG Set including replacement of seal and kit from authorised delears work shop including refixing and testing complete.

All as per item No. 115 but of capacity 15/25/30 KVA DG Set.

Repair/Servicing of water pump and replacement of water kit and water seal of 110 KVA DG Set complete all as directed.

Dismantling and taking down alternator assembly from existing engine and transporting to workshop and carry out servicing / maintenance of alternator unit of capacity 110 KVA DG set as per the phase work :- (a) Opening of Alternator and cleaning / remvoing dust from armature and field coil. (b) Cleaning of used / old lubricated substances drive/non drive end bearings. (c) Cleaning end cheeking of AVR unit (d) Cheking and tighting of coupling bolts and replacement of rubber inserts. (e) M&L for carrying out heat varnishing for field and armature coil and kept in heating chamber for 48 hours for drying properly. (f) Replacement of Bearings as per existing size. (g) Reassembling complete unit and carrying out testing at workshop and transportation to installation and coupling with DG Set including necessary alignment, cable connections all as specified and directed by Engr - in Charge

All as per item No. 118 but of cpacity 15 to 30 KVA DG Set

Supply and replacement of piston with rings, cylinder linner and gaske set complete including caliberation and overhauling of injector assembly complete all as directed suitable for 15 to 110 KVA DG set.

Supply & repalcement of water temp gauge with cable complete as per sample.

Supply & replacement of Lub oil pressure gauge complete with cable as per sample.

Supply & replacement of Amp meter as per sample.

Supply & repalcement of frequency meter as per sample.
