Cutting in all kinds of soil such as kankar, moorum, shingle boulders decomposed of soft rock or any such mixed in other variety of soil or rocks, including filling in embankments where necessary including ramming and watering etc. stacking of serviceable materials at the place specified by the Engineer-in-Charge including all leads and lifts wherever or for what purpose required.
Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing , laying,jointing ( by way of circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ) and testing of MSERW pipe X-42 of following dia meters confirming to BIS 3183-2007, steel grade -A (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as specified below with bevelled ends and capable of withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 4 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, beds etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately).
1200 mm dia MSERW pipe X-42 thickness 4.00mm from RD 0 to 1000 = 1000 rmt. @ 95% butt welding = 950 rmts.
Providing Laying in trenches IS marked MSERW pipe X-42 of following diameters conforming to BIS 3183-2007 of following grade and having wall thickness as specified below with plain end capable of with standing required test presure in random length of 4 to 7 mtr, including specials, short pieces bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube with providing and welding of MS flanges detailed as below. Increasers with cimpanions flanges matching with the relevant specufication of the acccessories including rubber/ asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thckness as per IS:27:12:1979 and required numer of nuts and bolts as per Is :1364:1983, The Pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No. 12. The size of the various comoponants to be as under.
a) Suction pipe: One dia higher then the suction of pump offerd and suitablke to keep the velocity of flow from 1 to 1.5 M/second in the suction pipe.
b) Delivery pipe: One dia higher then delivery of the pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1.5 to 2M/ second in the delivery pipe.
c) Common header: One dia higher then delivry of pump will extend upto 5 meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the derection to be jointed.
Providing and laying copper PVC insulated armoured power cale ( One cable carrying all the three phases ) of suitable size and capacity to motors and oil other electrical equipments as per IS: 1554 (P-1) 1988 orlatest with up to date ammendments of sienes/ GLOSTER/IEC/ICC/EICO/NATIONAL/GRANDLAY make including all other accessories such thinbles, flexsible pipes, solders, nuts and bolts cable glandsetc, laid in pipes or trenches under floor.
