Mobilization of mechanical drilling equipment/rig and shifting of entire arrangement from one bore to another hole location and setting boring/drilling rig as reqd/directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Boring 150 mm dia bores holes to given depth or refusal strata through any type of soil as under :- 6 Mtr depth - 05 Nos = 30 RM
Collection of undisturbed soil sample at 1.50 M intervals or at any change of strata in 100 mm bore thin walled tube incl waxing sealing, packing and transporting to the lab.
Carrying out standard penetration test incl collecting of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.50m/2.0m/2.50m depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data.
Conducting necessary tests as per relevant IS codes/NBC 2005/SP 36 on all collected samples which incl the determination of :- (a) Atterberg Limits. (b) Natural moisture content © Wet and dry density. (d) Soil particle size distribution using sieve/hydrometer analysis. (e) Tri axial shear test C&C determination. (f) Shrinkage Limit. (g) Consolidation test. (h) Specific gravity test for sand rock. (j) Crushing str of rock samples. (k) Permeability test. (l) Chemical analysis of ground water sample (Min 02 sample). (m) Free soil index. (n) Chemical analysis of soil. (o) 'N' values corrected
Maintaining photographic record ( min three photographs per hole duly annotated)
Submission of report of soil investigation in pentuplicate along with photographic record duly annotated with following details :- (a) SBC at 1.50m/2.0m/2.50m depth for each bldg site with recommendation on type of foudations./SBC shall be worked out bored on 'N' value shear failure and sttelment criteria (b) Detail of water table and HFL (c) Percolation rate at site of sokage well (d) Detail of any week strata / Expansion joint in countered during exacavation with recommendatio on type of Foundation and filling under floors. Note : Items 1 (g) & (h) will be executed with no extra cost as obligation but will be part of entire wk.
