REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DG SET AND CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR NO 1

Maintenance and servicing of 400 KVA DG set of any make Diesel Generator Sets including connected Alternator, Panel Board (AMF/ Non AMF) and carrying out routine 'A' check of the engine complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed-03 Nos NOTES: (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings.

(ii) Servicing of DG Set along with connected Alternator and Panel Board including 'A' Check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every month (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'A' check shall be all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) The quoted rate shall be for the maintenance of One DG Set per month.

Maintenance and servicing of 400 KVA DG set of any make Diesel Generator Sets including connected Alternator, Panel Board (AMF/ Non AMF) and carrying out routine 'B' check of the engine including items covered in 'A' check complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed - 03 Nos NOTES: (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings

(ii) 'B' check shall be carried out once in every six months or 250 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier. Servicing of DG Set along with connected Alternator and Panel Board including items covered in 'A' Check of the Engine shall also be carried out in that month as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs (iii) Spare parts, engine oil and radiator coolant oil required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/ filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

(iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item,contractor to be provided fuel filter, oil filter, water filter,top head gaskets,fuel pipes, battery terminal, battery lead and distilled water. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check be all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) The quoted rate shall be for the maintenance of One DG Set per month.

M&L for taking out fuel tank from 200 KVA DG Set, welding / brazing at all leakage joint to make leak proof & reinstalled as specified & directed by Engg-in-charge.

Supply & fix in repair AMF controller of 400 KVA DG Set of existing make complete (officer Mess) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & fix in repair AMF controller of 250/320 KVA DG Set of existing make complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & fix in repair AMF controller of 160/200 KVA DG Set of existing make complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & fix in repair AMF controller of 63/100 KVA DG Set of existing make complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & fix in repair AMF controller of 10/50 KVA DG Set of existing make complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

(Note: (i) During breakdown of any DG set contractor is liable to trace out the defect within 12 hrs under intimation to JE/Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Contractor is bound to rectify the defect within 24 hrs if contractor is unable to do so panel recovery of Rs.200/- per hour will be initiated upto 48 hours. Quoted rates is deemed to be inclusive of all cost reqd for its rectification including T&P.
