Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 20mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks i/c hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note I :- The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item.
Providing and applying Primer Coat with Bitumen Emulsion (S.S grade-I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)
Providing and laying Tack Coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification. (N.S.)
Pdg & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in drum type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula). Note: - 1. The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. 2. Where there is BM on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work. 3. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.
Providing and Laying 50mm thick Compacted Bituminous Macadam in (BM) in one layer by Drum type hot mix plant/drum type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 2. Providing and fixing Retro - Reflective Hazard Marker conforing to IRC 79: 1981 of size 900 x 300mm with back support of M.S. angle 25 x 25 x 3mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5mm, 1500mm high embeded into 0.3x0.3x0.3m M-20 grade Concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro -prismatic retro-reflective sheet confirming to IRC:67-2012 type XI specifications fixed on 3mm thick aluminum composite material sheet as base board with pressure senstive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminum on both sides.
Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing & Marking Center Line / Side Line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used alongwith a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.
Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including construction of R. C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Providing and fixing sign boards on the gantry as provided in item No. 14 above, of Size- Size3.05 m x 1.525m made out of retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro prismatic grade conforming to IRC: 67-2012 Type IV standards fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The messages (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be of cut letters made in transparent overlay film pasted over the base sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufactures or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- 1) Work will be carried out as per MoRTH specification for road and bridges works (5th Revision). 2.) Retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity mirco-prismatic grade confirming to IRC 67-2017 Type-IV standards shall be of Avery Dennision/3M make only. 3.) Warranty and Durability as per clause 801.3.11 of MoRTH Specification 5th Revision will be applicable which is reproduced as under :- The contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a ten year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflective of the retro-reflective sheeting of micro-prismatic sheeting and a seven-year warranty for high intensity grade and submit the same to the Engineer. The warranty shall be inclusive of the screen printed or cut out leters/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting. The contractor/ supplier shall also furnish the LOT numbers and certification that the signs and materials supplied against the assigned work meets all the stipulated requirements and carry the stipulated warranty and that the contractor / supplier is the authorized convertor of the particular sheeting. All signs shall be dated during fabrication with indelible marking to indicate the start of warranty. The warranty shall also cover the replacement obligation by the sheeting manufacturer as well as contractor for replacement/repair/restoration of the retro-reflective efficiency. A certificate in original shall be given by the sheeting manufacturer that its offered retro-reflective sheeting has been tested for various parameters such as co-efficient of retro-reflection, day/night time colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular, gloss and fungus resistance; the tests shall be carried out by a Government Laboratory in accordance with various ASTM procedures and the results must show that the sheeting has passed the requirements for all the above metioned parameters. A copy of the test reports shall be attached with the certificate.
Pavement maker (3 M Cat-eyes) Molded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg. tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. WNH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. the Height width and length shall not exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slop to the base shall be 35+/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2mm and height not less than 30+/-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacture’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennision/3M/etc.) as per item No. 3 of the list of road furniture uploaded on the web site of Haryana PWD B&R branch.

Note:- The bidder is not required to quote his rate for routine maintenance. The rates of routine maintenance as indicated in the bill of quantities are to be considered for financial evaluation and determining L-1 contractor irrespective of rates quoted by the contractor. If the rates quoted by the contractor differ from fixed rates, then it will not be considered and base rates as fixed in the DNIT will be considered. However, the total amount of L-1 will not be increased from the total amount quoted by the contractor and rebate to that extent shall have to be given by the contractor, Further the payment for routine maintenance to the contractor shall be regulated based on his performanoe of maintenance activities as per chapter eleven of rural road in manual (IRC-SP-20-2002).
