PREAMBLE TO BILL OF QUANTITIES (BOQ)

Bidders are strongly advised to visit the site, its surroundings prior to bid to assess and satisfy

themselves about the working and other constraints (if any) at site, various damaged

structural elements, separation joint, waterproofing, etc., and its rectification/redoing,

quantum of barricading, necessary arrangement of water & power supply, the physical status

of project, the quantity of items executed & the need to repair/reconstruction and any other

relevant information required to execute the complete scope of works.

The enclosed BOQ is based on the comprehensive list of special repairs and upgradation

works of each project for all the items, shall have to strictly ensure its satisfactory

completion. The bidder shall be solely responsible to execute the work strictly as per

drawings/methodology approved by the technical consultant in order to complete the work.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, mentioned anywhere in the tender documents, the

bidder is liable to complete the scope of work of various elements as mentioned in

“comprehensive list of special repairs and upgradation works” within the quoted percentage

Penetrating Corrosion Inhibitor EPCO KP100 or equivalent(which
