EARTH WORK

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth anywhere in the campus and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:

All kinds of soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth anywhere in the campus and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All kinds of soil

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc.in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering for all lead and all lift including conveying the earth.

CEMENT CONCRETE (CAST IN SITU)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-Ill) derived from natural sources: 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3(1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand (zone-Ill) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

STONE WORK

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with :

Cement mortar 1:6(1 cement :6 coarse sand)

FLOORING

Providing & laying vacuum dewatered flooring using M20 grade reinforced cement concrete, 1:1.5:3 (1cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including vibrating concrete by using screed vibrator and vacuum dewatering using approved make equipment and finishing the top surface to required level and grade using power trowels of standard make. Rate to include for Surface Hardener 400ml per 50kg bag of cement, covering the finished concrete surface and curing. (Payment for steel and shuttering will be paid separately)

ROOFING

Providing and fixing to the inlet mouth of rain water pipe cast iron grating 15 cm diameter and weighing not less than 440 grams.

Providing square type UPVC gutter with necessary clamps, bolts, nuts, and specials such as nozzles, sockets, stoppers, etc., including cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges etc. complete as per the instructions of the dept. officers

200mm or equivalent Square type UPVC gutters

FINISHING

12 mm cement plaster of mix:

1:6(1 cement: 6 fine sand)

ROAD WORK

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1km (by mechanical means).

SANITARY INSTALLATIONS

Providing and fixing UPVC SWR soil, waste and vent pipes conforming to IS:13592 Type-B, including all UPVC plain and brass threaded fittings(as per IS:7834/IS:1024). This includes joining of pipes and fittings with solvent cement, testing of joints, trenching, refilling, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. External work.
