REPAIR / MAINT OF ROADS, SIDE FURNITURE IN OFFRS MD ACCN, VIP BLDGS, MESSES AND OTM AREA AND PBOR MD ACCN UNDER THE AREA OF AGE B/R -II AT ARMY AREA JODHPUR UNDER GE (ARMY) NO.01

M&L for Repair to potholes any depth not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc 50 mm deep and n exc 100 mm deep in area exc 400 sqm incl removing scarifyed material out of MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in-charge. Note:- 1 - Taking out of the damaged premixed carpet and damaged WBM etc on the road edges,curves, bell mouths etc has been catered in the item) 2 : Material obtained shall be cleaned, screened and stacked properly for reuse.)

Scarifying or picking gravelled mecadam or bituminous mecadam surfaces exc. 50mm thick but n. exc 100 mm deep area not exceeding 400 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges. Note:- 1 - Taking out of the damaged premixed carpet and damaged WBM etc on the road edges,curves, bell mouths etc has been catered in the item) 2 : Material obtained shall be cleaned, screened and stacked properly for reuse.)

M&L for preparing bituminious macadam surface by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally the cleaned surface with gunny bags to reomve all loose dirt etc and applying evenly tack coat of cationic bitumen 0.70 to 1Kg/10 sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in-charge.

M&L for Premix bituminious, macadum laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 4% binder content bitumen of grade VG-40) by wt of total mix (consdidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally the cleaned surface with gunny bags to reomve all loose dirt etc and applying evenly tack coat with catonic emulsion 0.2 to 0.3 Kg/ sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in-charge.

M& L for providing bitumen premix Semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder (paving bitumen VG-40) by weight of total mix, mixed in computerized hot mix plant, laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with the help of mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side,the difference in quantity of of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rates of Rs 42/- per Kg for paving bitumen VG-40.However no plus adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 3mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like exc 10cm and n.exc 25cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as direcded by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of 900mm dia reflective safety traffic mirror for road and side walk of stainless steel face, 0.90 mm thick large radius of curvature for minimum distance distrotation orange powdwr coated steel back and hood orange vinyl extrusion with 75 mm clamp brackets for pole mouting complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Supply and fix of replacement of solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.
