RequiredThe intending bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least 90percent of the contract value for ongoing works as a prime contractor, at least one similar work costing not less than 50percent of the amount put to tender i.e for Rs.9.07 Lakhs, One similar work means conducting Detailed Survey work using DGPS or Total Station, preparation and submission of C-Plan of the scheme alignment proposals, design, drawings, Km wise, Package wise estimates, Bid documents for Field Irrigated Channel.

RequiredThe bidder should have an annual financial turnover of minimum of amount put to tender Rs. 18.14 Lakhs in any two financial years during the last five years i.e., from 2019-20 to 2023-24. Audited balance sheet certified by the chartered accountant should be enclosed. Additional weightage at 10percent for each year will be given for turn over to bring it to 2024-25

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Banker Details

All conditions to be referred as per Bid Document.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work to understand the very nature of work, methodology, technicalities, work preparedness etc., before submission of their tenders.

Modification to the release of APS conditions of contract: If the percentage quoted by the contractor for the work is below 90% of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender of the Department, then the contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted percentage and 90% of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender. In case of contractor quoted rates above 125% of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be held during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of the entire cost of the work as per the agreement.

The necessary certificates/documents in support of eligibility criteria fulfilled as stipulated shall be scanned and attached to their e-tender documents. The Original certificates/documents shall be produced on or before stipulated date and time for verification.

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday, the next working day is valid.

Conditional tenders will be rejected and E.M.D. will be forfeited. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Corrigendum will be published in the web site for all modifications/corrections if any.

The contractor should mention their recent correct postal address and e-mail address in the declaration form.

All materials like sand, Jelly, Stones, Wood / Rubble steel, cement etc., required for the above work should be procured by the contractor only.

The contractor/firm shall send the authorization letter of their representatives duly attested by their signature.

The Tender processing charges paid by the bidders are non-refundable, even if their tenders are cancelled.

Incomplete tender documents will be summarily rejected.

As per the Karnataka building and other construction Workers Welfare Cess Act 1996 , 1% of the bill amount will be deducted from each bill.

Tenders will be opened on the due date in presence of the contractor or their authorized agents.

The contractor / Firm / Company should adhere to the accepted action plan submitted by them under any circumstances, without linking to the pending bill payment of the work.

Maintenance period or the defect liability period for this works is 12 months from the date of completion of work.

EMD of the unsuccessful bidders will be refunded only after the acceptance of tenders by the Competent Authority (clause 21 of the Formal Tender Notice).

The Earnest Money Deposit. (E-cash). The Earnest Money Deposit of Lowest bidder will be transferred to CAO, KNNL, Account Dharwad and will be converted into security deposit and same will be refunded after Completion of the work

Typo-graphical errors (if any) will not be the ground for any claims by the Contractor.

Each of the documents uploaded to the e-portal should be self attested by the contractor or an authorized representative in case of firm/company.
