Dismantling and Re-fixing of RC Conveyor Bottom Plates of A or B Streams of NP Plant,FACT CD

Dismantle & Refix RC Conveyor Bottom Plate: The tools and tackles required for the work shall be collected from the tool crib/Workshop. Upon receiving the clearance from the Process & Mechanical Maintenance Departments, the contractor shall dismantle the bottom plates of the Recycle Conveyor. The bottom plates shall be removed and suitably positioned to facilitate the cleaning of the plates. Upon completion of cleaning by the Process Department and receipt of process clearance, inspect the bottom plates, damaged bottom plates shall be repaired / replaced with spare plate, the plates shall be refixed in position. The bolts and nuts shall be securely tightened to ensure there is no leakage. (Unit of One number is for Dismantling and Re-fixing of complete bottom plates of One Stream.)

Fabrication & Replacement of RC Conveyor Bottom Plate The scope of work involves organizing site arrangements and collecting the necessary plates and structural elements from the Store/Plant area. Upon receiving clearance to start the work, the damaged bottom plate along with stiffeners shall be removed by cutting or grinding or unbolting. The contractor shall fabricate and erect a new bottom plate using CS/MS plates and appropriate structural members. The scope of work includes cutting, shaping, and assembling CS/MS plates and structural components as per the existing bottom plate design. The contractor shall be responsible for fabricating the bottom plate from raw materials and replacing the existing damaged bottom plate with the newly fabricated one. Standard welding procedures shall be followed at every stage. Additional temporary supports shall be arranged as required to ensure safe and smooth progress of the erection activities. The bolts and nuts shall be securely tightened to ensure there is no leakage. (Unit of One number is for replacement of One bottom plate of One Stream.)

Patchwork of RC Conveyor The scope of work involves collection and transportation of CS/SS Plates from stores/plant area to work site, patchwork/repair the corroded/damaged/thinned area of the casing, bottom plate, doors, latches, inlet & outlet ducts etc. with CS/SS plates as per the instructions of Technician/Officer-in-Charge. The work involves the removal of existing/damaged plates, followed by the precise cutting, shaping, and fixing of new plates by welding. Full welding shall be done, followed by thorough grinding remove sharp edges. All work must adhere to professional standards of proper edge preparation, welding (butt/lap), and grinding, as directed by the Technician/Officer-in-Charge to meet specific site conditions. Additionally, the scope involves the dismantling and reinstallation of any essential stiffeners, structural supports, or platforms required for the smooth execution of the repair work. Minimum area of patch work at one point shall be considered as 0.5 m2, if the total area of patch work done on that day is less than 0.5 m2.
