REPAIR TO JOINT FILLING / CRACKS ON RUNWAY / TAXI TRACKS / DISPERSAL AND ASSOCIATE RUNWAY WORKS AT NAGTALAO UNDER GE BANAR

Surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil including cleaning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and trees n.exc 30 cm girth and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for cutting grass and ploughing of soft ground arrester around runway and taxi track by deploying of tractor with jungle jim/plougher and a driver complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.Note :- Record for working hours shall be maintained & kept on record

S&F in repairs Taxiway/Runway Sign Boards having 100% UV protected face plate on Both side of size not exc 2.0 Sqm each consisting of non metalic materials support structure having min. Tensile strength 4000 kg/cm2 impact strength of 139kg/cm2, UV resistance must meet 1000 hr UV weathering test for tensile strength as per ASTM G53 and very low flammability as per IS-6746, Appx "N" 1994, Temp. resistance (-)40 degree centigrate to (+)80 degree centigrate and able to withstand wind to wind force of 150kg/hr, with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflecting sheeting as 3M type4 /EGP type 3 as base and with cut out massage (legends border letters numerals etc) with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective, including PCC 1:2:4 AS IN PIT OF SIZE 15x15x15cm with MS Painted stand of size 50*50 mm and height upto 2 meter. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for racking out of sealant compound from existing expansion joints of dimension 25 mm to 30 mm wide and 45 mm deep, removing the debris from site by sweeping the concrete surface with brooms, cleaning with compressed air, treating sides and bottom of the joints with primer as per manufacturer's directions and filled with preformed closed cell polyethylene backup rod/strip of 25-32 mm dia, sealing with pitch free polyurethane grey sealant (minimum depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 10 mm) conforming to BS-5212 (Type FB) and applying masking tape on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Ditto all as per item No 4 above but construction/dummy joints of dimension 16 to 24 mm wide and 40 mm deep and backup rod/strip of 16-25 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Ditto all as per item No 4 above but construction/dummy joints of dimension 10 to 15 mm wide and 30 mm deep and backup rod/strip of 13-18 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges. Note for Srl item No 4 to 6 :- Incase of any variation in width or depth of joint, the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor as in Sch 'A'/BOQ items as above. The contractor shall not be entitled for any extra claim on this account.

M & L for cutting/chipping off carefully the cracks of runway/taxi track (hard concrete surfaces) in uniform width of cross sectional area with depth of 20 to 25mm, cleaning all dust, mud etc. Priming the cut portion of concrete surfaces with Flexopatch Make : M/s Chowksy or equivalent and filling the cut portions of cracks to the required level to match with exisitng surfaces of concrete slab/ pavement with flexopatch mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Clearing the runway drain by plaughing by manual means and clearing away all grass vegatation from roots, spallings, shrubs, brushwoods, undergrowth, roots and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured on one meter above ground level)and desilt the drain 0.15 m and removing rubbish upto a distance exc 250m but not exc 500m outside the periphery of the area under clearence complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Desilting of soil by excavating n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil and removing excavated material exc 250m and n exc 500m and depositing where directed at a leval n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for EPU flooring anti static flooring in hanger complete all as specified and directed as per manufacturer's instruction consisting of following:- (i) the prepration of old surface shall be carried out thoroughly by cleaning all foreign and dust,scraping old EPU Surface to recieve the screed (ii). pot,crack and existing joint filling with epoxy resin compound to match surface undulation of the floor (iii). application of low viscous epoxy primer having resin and hardner mixed and laid. (iv) application of epoxy resin based self smoothing screed 3.00mm thick on the clean and dry surface having high abrasion resistance spread in uniform thickness (v). laying of self adhesive cooper tape (vi). application of conductive primer coat (vii). application of EPU based self levelling top coat of flexo hard EPU to yield an average thickness of 3.0mm over the primer as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
