M & L for 2nd class soft wood boarding 20 mm thick planed one side, rebeted or fixed with screw, fixed to timber frame work with nails complete all as specified and directed. .

Taking down cement plaster of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removing unserviceable material,outside cantt area distance not exceeding 1.5 KM. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 12mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement plaster (1:6) finished the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick wall in two layers, Ist layer 10mm thick CM (1:6), and IInd layer 5mm thick CM (1:4), surface finished even and fair mixed with @ 200ml per bag WPC (liquid type) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC (Liquid type) shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I). (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of interior wall by application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint/ distemper and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) The new surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper The cost of all material T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted . M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of interior wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers and application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint and all as directed at site by Engr-in-Charge .

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable LT UG XLPE Cable and Supplying & laying of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated PVC sheathed steel armoured aluminum stranded conductor LT UG cable ( Conforming to IS 7098) ISI marked of size 70 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specifed and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable LT Panel and Material and labour for design ,supply, fabrication, Installation, testing and commissoning Factory made LT panel at outdoor type totally enclosed, dust and vermin proof, suitably ventilated, floor mounted, 415 volts, 3 phase and neutral, 50 Hz AC supply system, fully compartmentalized, both side openable, made out of 3.00 mm thick CRCA sheet, protection of enclousure IP-54 as per IS: 2147 of 1962 with pre-treatment and powder coated of approved colour including suitable frame work/support made out of suitable size angle iron/flat iron, front opening type with provision for cable entry, with proper ferrule and cable glands, internal wiring with PVC insulated multi stranded copper conductor FRLS cable of adequate size(minimum 1.5 sqmm), including required civil works/anchoring bolts for fixing, PCC foundation etc with and including following all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/disintegrated soil not exc 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying UG cable/foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soft/disintegrated soil including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soft/disintegrated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S & Laying well burnt bricks, subclass 'B' bricks, laid flat with width equal to length of brick and laid dry over eletric cable for protection of cable complete as directed.

S & F galvanised iron tube with all fittings 'light grade 40mm dia for laid under roads/drain or fixing of poles/wall with flate iron clamps, muts, boltls and washers all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground. ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15cm all around the plate. connected by 4mm GI Wire check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm x300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size (1:2:4) Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate rainforced with XPM all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified including and provision of GI Wire upto 7.5 mtrs long with 15 mm dia Medium grade GI pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all exavation and earth work and connecting the earthing strip toDB, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick rainforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover. (ii) Cost of additional GI Wire more than 7.5 mtrs will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.
