Carryout periodical routine maintenance consisting of checking, Inspection, Maintenance, and servicing complete including replacement of unserviceable parts of the DG set comprising of Engine/Alternator/Control Panel/AMF panel, attending breakdown and testing of DG Set complete, i.e. engine, Alternator etc for efficient functioning including provision of all consumables items like cotton , waste cloth , kerosine oil etc. Maintenance will be carried out for various capacity of DG sets here-in -after complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items as shown below. (ii) Labour charges for dismantling / Taking down and replacement /refixing of new spare parts as when required as deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

NOTE FOR ITEM NO.1 MONTHLY INSPECTION AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Contractor shall provide qualified trained service engineer from OEM/Authorised by OEM as refered item No 1 above to visit at site with material and labour , testing equipment to check / inspection and routine maintenance of the following:- (a) DG set servicing (B-check, C-check) (b) DG set Maintenance/Health checkup. (c) Control Panel/APFC Panel/Alternator troubleshooting only (d) Replacement of avr, water pump, starter motor, charging alternator, Fuel, coolant & lube oil hose, solenoid as per requirement. (e) Check lube oil level and conditioning of lube oil, top up/refill if required. (f) The oil filters shall be replaced whenever oil is changed. (g) The air filters shall be cleaned periodically with compressed air, check batteries and top up the distilled water if required. (h) Check functioning of alternator. (j) Engine safety viz. high water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, oil temperature gauge and high speed gauge shall be checked for their functions and repaired/ replaced if required. (k) Coolant level and conditioning of coolant shall be checked and refilled if required. (l) Check fan and alternator drive belts and tightened if required. (m) The governor shall be checked and tuned for proper functioning (n) Check for leaks if any and shall be rectified. (o) Checking and servicing of engine for smooth running, its unusual sound and color of smoke and exhaust and set it right in case of deviations

M&L for boring holes horizontally under road without damaging the surface of road (minimum 1.0m bellow the road surfaces) with the help of GI tubing of any dia not exceeding 80mm dia for passing of UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling for poles complete all as specified and directed

M&L for providing cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping of poles including necessary form work and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable in trenches/existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep including required watering and consolidation after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable, foundation and erection of poles and stays in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting points complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick covering with width equal to length of brick as protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks of size 250mm x 125mm x 75mm laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for steel tubular pole painting of any type/size/length and removing from existing pole painting by using wire brush and using with emery paper and cleaning with chemical agents after cleaning of steel tubular pole and GI brackets and cross arms etc and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer. Upto 1.5 mtr from bottom painting works shall be carried out layer by layer of 30 cm with yellow and black paint and 15cm wide circle around the pole to be made by blue paint after black paint. Painting work shall be carried out at any height including marking of pole numbers marked with black paint over 20 cm yellow paint circle with all necessary safety equipments & tools complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC pole painting of any type/size/length and removing from existing pole painting by using wire brush and using with emery paper and cleaning with chemical agents after cleaning of PCC pole and GI brackets and cross arms and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of primer on pole and two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces. Upto 1.2 mtr from bottom painting work shall be carried out layer by layer of 30 cm with yellow and black paint. Painting work shall be carried out at any height and including marking of pole numbers as directed with all necessary safety equipments & tools complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for tree branches/vegetation cutting around the LT/HT lines and installations from line conductor to tree distance up to 4 mtrs and cutted wood pieces/vegetation materials disposal upto a distance not exceeding 100 mtr where indicated and including providing necessary safety eqpts & cutting tools, ladders etc will be contractors own arrangement and complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- quoted rate shall be of the following:- (1) Necessary safety measures will be fully responsible by tenderer (2) Due care shall be taken during tree branches, so that OH line should not be damaged. If damaged the same shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost.)
