PHASE - I SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I

Design supply, install testing & commissioning of 08 passengers lift (544 Kg capacity), speed 1.5 meter per sec, lift with single speed motor 415 volts, 3 phase, AC 50 Hz supply conforming to IS 14665, suitable to serve G+ 06 upper floors i.e., with 7 stops and 7 landings with or without attendant suitable for synchronized operation automatic power operated centre opening sliding stainless steel Car and landing door with vision panel of 1800 x 350 mm, however dimension may vary as per site requirement with AC Variable Voltage & Variable Frequency drive (VVVF drive) complete with all standard accessories, simplex full collective automatic & manual dual controlled operation with or without attendant, centre opening doors with door drive (electric motor driven mechanism), automatic rescue device (ARD) system, 3D infra red sensor in full height of door & built in announcing system without hand set (03 Nos, one each in car, Machine room & near Ground floor landing door) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Location/Building HQENC BUILDING).

Hairline finish stainless steel on both sides of the wall inside the car, the front wall of the car should be hairline finish stainless steel, the floor of the car should be granite colour & design as approved by Accepting Officer, the COP inside the car should be full height of premium quality acrylic touch panel, Car indicator should be colour LCD display, finish stainless steel on lintel, flush mounted finish of 1.5 mm with infra-red sensors all along the height for car door with automatic rescue/leveling device (ARD) (with (+) or (-) 5 mm) with suitable batteries, Floor position digital indicators in car and all landing with call indicating lights etc including necessary joists and beams for mounting machine in the machine room including additional/alteration to existing lift well if any, all necessary civil works required in connection with erection of lifts complete all as specified. The lift shall be provided with and including the following :- [a] Fire man switch [b] Automatic rescue device (A.R.D) during power failure including manual operation provision with suitable capacity of battery designed for running the lift with full load. [c] Battery operated emergency light (LED ceiling fitting), alarm (speaker for emergency alarm system to be fixed) and stop button in car with rechargeable arrangement for battery. [d] Designer six sleek circular LED light fitting 5 Wattsx4 Nos in false ceiling with AC louvers to be provided in the cabin. [e] Provision of one cross flow fan suitable for recessed mounting in false ceiling [f] Provision of premium quality Granite stone slab of 18-20 mm thick as in flooring for lift car as approved by Accepting Officer over 3 mm thick aluminium chequeres sheet. [g] Nonstop button /independent operation [h] Over load warning indicator with both audio and visual type with over load protection/tripping system having relays etc and floor announcement system [j] Front landing door with full vision glass panel with stainless steel hairline finish frame operations with a minimum time of 10 seconds and up to a maximum time of 30 seconds programmable. [k] All the dimensions of lift and connected items shall be designed in conformity with IS 14665 standards and the contractor shall submit the design drawing to accepting officer for approval before commencement of work. Car size shall be in conformity with IS-3534-1976 and body to be stainless steel of 1.5 mm hairline finish with stainless steel hand rail 38 mm dia SS handrail in hairline finish. [l] Set of three in number limit switches at the bottom and top most position of lift hoist ways as specified in IS [m] Full length display indicator panel. [n] Instruction plate with complete details to be provided inside the cabin. [o] Continuous earthing for machine and equipments as per schedule. [p] Steel Wire rope of adequate size as per relevant IS and as per manufacturer specification. [q] Other standard fixtures and fittings like guide rails, sheaves, counter weights with guards, buffers, gear unit breaks, control panel, locks governor car operational panel, power control and trailing cables complete all as per latest IS specifications. [r] Lift design, specifications, drawings, manufacturer’s instructions shall be got approved from accepting office before placing order for procurement. [s] Main drives and controls shall be of latest, high effective and low power consumption. [t] Suitable phase reversal relay shall be provided on the controller to protect lift/equipment against phase reversal, phase failure and low voltage. [u] Stainless steel sliding doors with front opening for all landing made of 1.5 mm SS sheet with Hair line finish with vision panel of full size 350 mm x 1800 mm, however dimensions may vary as per site requirement with toughened glass not less than 8 mm thick, car back panel (in front of entrance door panel) shall be made out of single toughened glass of thickness not less than 10 mm thick fitted seamlessly on stainless steel back panel design as approved by Accepting Officer. M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to earth lead of galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point including dismantling complete all as specified and directed. [k] The Contractor is responsible for Insurance, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall be paird to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate qouted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [l] INSURANCE AND DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour uniform with labels showing the Name of Firm and the Designation and "GE (Utility-I) [V]" printed on them along with protective clothing. The contractor shall also provided shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [m] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyong his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. [n] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM. [o] MINIMUM MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ the One Lift Mechanic per Shift of 08 Hours form 0900 Hours to 1700 Hours and shall report to Office of AGE [E/M] for day to day maintenance and efficient operation of Lifts.
