REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF CI GI PIPES AND CONTROL VALVES AT INA EZHIMALA

Amount

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying/taking out of pipe lines etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning,filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm, in excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil n exc 50m and depositing where directed at level n exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete in sub floors,sub bases,floors and pavings of cement concrete type B2, 1:2:4 (40mm graded aggregate) of 150 mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting existing CI pipe in position for insertions of CI specials for the following sizes :- Note:- CI specials and jointing shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

(a) 80mm bore

(b) 100 mm bore

(c) 150mm bore

(d) 200mm bore

(e) 250mm bore

(f) 300mm bore

Taking up the GI pipe lines and connections from the trench/floor and cleaning/removing the block, relaying/refixing in the same position for the following sizes:- Note:- GI fittings such as bend, elbow etc is deemed to be included in the rate quoted for the items.

(a) GI tubing 15mm bore

(b) GI tubing 20mm bore

(c) GI tubing 25 mm bore

(d) GI tubing 32 mm bore

(e) GI tubing 40 mm bore

(f) GI tubing 50 mm bore

Supply and laying GI tubing medium grade in trenches/wall/floor with all fittings such as bend,elbow,socket etc including taking out the corroded pipes complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes:-

(a) 15mm bore

(b) 20mm bore

(c) 25mm bore

(d) 32mm bore

(e) 40mm bore

(f) 50mm bore

Supply and laying of CPVC pipes SDR-11 and plain CPVC SDR -11 with all fittings in trenches complete all as specified and as directed including taking out the unserviceable pipes for the following sizes of pipes :-

(a) 20mm bore

(b) 25mm bore

(c) 32mm bore

(d) 40mm bore

(e) 50mm bore

Supply and laying UPVC pipes of pressure rating 10kg/cm² with all fittings and fixtures laid in trenches/wall/floor including taking out the unserviceable pipes for the following sizes of pipes :-

(a) 20mm bore

(b) 25mm bore

(c) 32mm bore

(d) 40mm bore

(e) 50mm bore

Taking out the unserviceable CI pipes including fittings from the trenches complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes:- (i) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ. (ii) Recovery will be made at the rates indicated under schedule of credit for unserviceable CI pipes. (iii) Unserviceable pipes shall be removed from site of work after deducting amount towards sch of credit.

Material and labour for run lead joints using pig lead and spun yarn and caulking complete including testing for the following sizes of CI pipe and fittings of spigot and socket end complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F CI specials such as bends (any type,radius,and angle) tapers any type (straight,bend or double sockets etc) Tee pieces,single branch 'Y' junction,double branch cross,collars caps and plugs etc of dia up to 150mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for tyton joints with rubber gasket for CI spigot and socket pipes and fitting of the following sizes complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) 80mm bore

(b) 100 mm bore

(c) 150mm bore

(d) 250 mm bore

(e) 300mm bore

Supply and fix sluice valve,flanged end of class PN 1.6 with stainless steel spindle with all accessories suitable for size 80mm bore, confirming to IS specification all as specified including taking out the unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix NRV (Non Return Valve) flanged and drilled type 80mm dia including taking down the existing unserviceable valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix NRV (Non Return Valve) flanged and drilled type 150mm dia including taking down the existing unserviceable valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix NRV (Non Return Valve) flanged and drilled type 250mm dia including taking down the existing unserviceable valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out the sluice valve steel spindle and refacing,regrinding and refixing of the following size complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) 80mm bore

(b) 100 mm bore

M&L for repair to valve chamber by means of taking down existing plaster (internal and external) completely and replaster in CM 1:4 15mm thick, 3 coat of white wash and welding of MS hinges including one coat of synthetic enamel painting on steel surface after preparation of the surface of the following size complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) 90x90x90 cm (inside dimension)

M&L for construction of valve chamber of internal size 900mmx900mmx900mm with foundation PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (100mm thick) laterite stone masonry 200 mm thick in CM 1:4,PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for coping (75 mm thick),rendering in cm 1:4 ,15 mm thick on both internal and external surfaces (15cm below GL) including provision of MS sheet cover 3 mm thick and 40x6 mm flat frame, 50x6 mm hold fast embedded in coping with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer with necessary 3 coats white wash to external surface, earth work and excavation ,handle of 12mm dia MS rod etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix 20mm bore brass ferrule on the existing pipe line including taking down of old unserviceable ferrule complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 25mm bore brass ferrule on the existing pipe line including taking down of old unserviceable ferrule complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes :-

(a) 40mm bore (minimum weight- 690 gram)

(b) 25mm bore ( minimum weight -455 gram)

(c) 20mm bore (minimum weight- 210 gram)

Material and labour for "CID" joint with Nut and Bolt for the following sizes of CI pipe complete all as specified and as directed.
