Diesel Generators
Design, manufacture, assembly, testing at works, supply, erection, testing & commissioning at site as per specifications complete in all respect of DG Set of 625 KVA minimum capacity (prime)with specifications below: Brushless type screen protected, 415 Volts, 3 phase 4 Wire, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM AC alternator with revolving field coupled with Radiator Cooled Diesel Engine complete with all accessories, like self starting device, fly wheel coupling with guard, V belts, cooling system, instrument panel comprising of switch with key, standard control panel, starting battery & battery charging device, safety control for lub oil pressure with tripping etc. The alternator insulation shall be class 'H' with temperature rise limited to Class 'F' value suitable to withstand tropical conditions and shall generally comply with BS 5514 and IS 10002. The engine should be turbocharged, air/liquid cooled with over load capacity shall not be less than 110% of rated capacity for 1 hour in every 12 hours. DG Set shall be enclosed in an acoustic enclosure. The enclosure shall have provision of space required for inspection and minor maintenance. The enclosure hall have suitable number of lights for sufficient illumination, 24 Volt Lead Acid rechargeable battery set of adequate AH rating complete with battery stand, battery leads. The governer class shall be G2/A1 as per ISO 8528 part V, Lube oil change period shall not be less than 500 Hrs. Voltage dip shall not exceed 20%.Voltage built up shall not more than 10 sec. Fuel consumption shall be linear after 50% of load. 625 KVA DG Set with acoustic enclosure & standard accessories (For Detail Specifications Kindly See Technical Specifications). Emission rules should be as per CPCB IV+ standards.Further details regarding positioning of components shall be as per the instruction of Engineer In-charge.

Design, manufacture, assembly, testing at works, supply, erection, testing & commissioning at site as per specifications complete in all respect of DG set of 40 KVA minimum capacity(prime), 415V, 50Hz, 3Ø silent new DG Set, comprising of Engine, alternator, standard control panel, Base frame, seperate Fuel tank, Battery, CPCB-IV+ approved Engine, Acoustic Enclosure & necessary control cables for connection with AMF Panel including transportation, loading and unloading of the DG set, having following specifications :- 40kVA(minimum capacity) Diesel Generating Set on existing CC platform comprising of Diesel Engine @ 1500RPM confirming to latest BS standards.The engine should be turbocharged,Air/liquid cooled with 10% over load for 1hour in every 12 hours of operation coupled to suitable capacity alternator rated at 415V ,08pf (lag) 50Hz,3phase ,4 wire system,confirming to BS & IS standards as per the technical specifications.The alternator shall be of brushless type screen protected,revolving field .mounted on suitable channel Iron Base Frame, required nos.of Batteries of 12V as per requirement mounted on metal stand, Acoustic enclosure as per latest CPCB approved Norms.Further details regarding positioning of components shall be as per the instruction of Engineer In-charge.
RCC Foundation & Modification
Modification of existing RCC foundation of dimension LXB: 4mx1.5m suitably to make it appropriate for installation of DG set mentioned in the above line item (320KVA minimum), considering safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/sq m & as per DG manufacturers design specification including excavation, RCC, foundation nut, bolts etc. in an approved manner. Clearing the site by removing excavated murum/soil/bolders/debris etc. & making the site good as per site requirement. The foundation after completion and before mounting the generators shall be installed with suitable number of anti-vibration mountings as per manufacturers recommendation for placing the generator.(For Detail Specifications Kindly See Technical Specifications)

Exhaust System Modification
Suitable extension of exhaust pipe for 625kVA (minimum capacity) DG, considering the site conditions as per requirement mentioned in the latest regulations of Electrical Inspectorate(Kerala) & CPCB. The exhaust pipe shall have a gooseneck shaped mechanical vent pipe on top,to prevent rainwater entry inside the generator.The exhaust pipe(conforming to IS:3589, amended up to date) shall be erected and suitably extended with sufficient diameter pipe, SS Bellows with flanges, gaskets, hardwares etc. also providing and fixing thermal insulation of exhaust pipeline of thickness 50 mm x density 100 kg/m3with embedded chicken wire mesh, cladding by 24 SWG aluminium sheets (upto the outerwall of the building) including the bends/ flanges therein, by fixing appropriate size steel screws and washers; cladding to be done in such a manner and workmanship that it shall protect direct entry of rain water into the insulation done; workmanship of work should be good to ensure proper finishing having regular diameter all over. The length of pipe left without thermal insulation shall be suitably painted by 2 coats of high heat resistant paint. Silencers and Horizontal runs shall be supported on spring supports. Vertical runs to have expansion bellows where length exceeds 25 M.

Supply, Fabrication & Installation/Erection of M.S. steel structure for DG exhaust pipe support / cable channels / Panel Support/ Fuel Tank Support / Fuel pipe Support etc. made of M.S. angles / Channels etc. to be fixed on wall / concrete trenches/ on floor/ ceiling or as required on site, duly painted by one coat primer and 2 coat whetherproof epoxy paint with suitable shade.
Fuel Storage & Piping
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of : Fuel tank fabricated out of MS Steel sheet (wall thickness 5mm) having a capacity of 990L and having suitable cubical/cuboidal dimension with a 30cmx30cm hinged metal cover on top surface as per the tank dimension. It shall have a transparent tubular level indicator provided with a valve, a drain plug for fuel drainage, an air vent / breather, inlet & outlet connection. The tank shall be installed over MS supports at a suitable height as per the site conditions and as per the instruction of Engineer In-charge.

AMF Panels
Installation & Commissioning Works of AMF Panel for 625KVA(minimum) DG Installation,testing and commissioning of AMF panel after connecting all cables including control cables,and earth strips and conducting necessery tests as mentioned in the technical specification.This also include minor civilwork for fixing new panel on the floor/trench.
Installation & Commissioning Works of AMF Panel for 40KVA(minimum) DG Installation,testing and commissioning of AMF panel after connecting all cables including control cables,and earth strips and conducting necessery tests as mentioned in the technical specification.This also include minor civilwork for fixing new panel on the floor/trench. The existing cables and earth strips may be reconnected to the new panel. The scope also includes minor modifications for existing earth strip and making it sutable for the new panel and connnecting the same.
Installation & Commissioning Works of AMF Panel for 250KVA DG Installation,testing and commissioning of AMF panel after connecting all cables including control cables,and earth strips and conducting necessery tests as mentioned in the technical specification.This also include minor civilwork for fixing new panel on the floor/trench. The existing cables and earth strips may be reconnected to the new panel. The scope also includes minor modifications for existing earth strip and making it sutable for the new panel and connnecting the same.
Bus Duct, Cables, End Terminations & Misc Works
Supply of 1000A ,415V, 50 kA, 50Hz AC Indoor - TPN Sandwich Aluminum Bus Duct with 100% neutral Bus made out of 14 SWG powder coated and painted galvanised sheet steel IP54 enclosure, flexible end termination, fittings & accessories like elbows, offset sections, tees, reducers, adaptor boxes, flanges, flexible connections, expansion joints, ground strips, suitable supporting arrangement with metal suspenders/ brackets, provison for fixing 2 runs of 25x3mm Cu earth strip throughout the length of busduct etc. as required complete. The rate shall be quoted for running meter and the elbows, bends, adaptor boxes are also measured under running meter and the rate shall be inclusive all associated accessories.
Supply of 1100 Volts grade XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed,armoured 3.5C 70Sq.mm Aluminium conductor cable conforming to IS 7098 (Part 1) amended upto date.
Supply of 63mm outer dia,450NM, DWC HDPE pipes with accessories like joints,connectors ,end caps pull wire etc .The HDPE pipe should have anit termite and anti rodent properties and should also have non flammable propagation properties .
Supply of 1100 Volts grade XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed,armoured 4C 35Sq.mm Aluminium conductor cable conforming to IS 7098 (Part 1) amended upto date.

Laying of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed,armoured 3.5C 400Sq.mm Aluminium conductor cable in Trench/Cable Trays/ Hume Pipes/clamped to wall with suitable clamps saddles and fixing bolts including testing and commissioning complete as required.
Making Cable end termination of 1100 Volts grade XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed,armoured 4C 35Sq.mm Aluminium conductor cable conforming to IS 7098 (Part 1), including cost of crimping suitable sized lugs, double compression glands, insulation tape and all requisite material for completion of joints. Engraved Identification tags shall be provided for all cables.

SITC of 1000A, 4pole Air Circuit Breaker (Ics = Icu=Icw for 1s) , fault breaking capacity of 50kA, Horizontal Drawout, EDO type, shunt trip, Independent manual spring closing mechanism, Inbuilt CTs for protection with adjustable over load 0.4In to 1 In and adjustable short circuit 2 to 10 Ir, interlocking features(key system) as per the Engineer IN-charge guidelines. ACB shall have RS485 port for external communication. The work involves dismantling of ABB make 800A existing ACB & installing of 1000A ACB in an existing Essential panel at Utility Substation after necessary busbar modification if required. The work also involves removal of of the 400sqmm cable from existing ACB and termination on to existing SFU/MCCB in the same panel after necessary modification. (Location: Utility Substation)

The work involves dismantling of existing 1600A L&T make breaker & installation of new L&T make 1600A ACB in an LT Panel with necessary modifications(Location:Power Plant)
Earting System
Compound Earthing Station : Supply and installation of all the materials required for maintenance free earthing system including 3 mtrs length,17.2mm dia or above 250 microns molecularly copper bonded steel rod with stainless steel connectors and fasteners for connecting earth strip, earth enhancing compound (12.5 kg mineral compound / 22.6 kg low resistivity graphite compound) and providing masonry enclosure with heavy duty CI cover plate of 300X300 mm having locking arrangement flush with the surrounding having a bearing capacity of 15kN as required.
Copper Plate Earth Station :Supply, and installation of 600 x 600 x3mm Copper plate electrode earth station conforming to IS 3043 - 1987/NEC/IEE complete with brick mansonry chamber, cover , CI frame, GI watering pipe of 25 mm dia etc including all Escavation & civil work providing masonry enclosure with heavy duty CI cover plate having locking arrangement flush with the surrounding having a bearing capacity of 15kN as required.
Earthing Strip/Wires : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 50mm x 6 mm Cu. strip clamped to walls, cable trays, bus ducts, cables in recess or surface etc. for equipment/ System earthing complete as required including inter connection between length at joints as per IS specifications, all fixing accessories saddles, clamps etc. and other fixing hardware material as required for proper installation.
Earthing Strip/Wires : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 25mm x 3 mm Cu. strip clamped to walls, cable trays, bus ducts, cables in recess or surface etc. for equipment/ System earthing complete as required including inter connection between length at joints as per IS specifications, all fixing accessories saddles, clamps etc. and other fixing hardware material as required for proper installation.
Safety Accessories
Supply and fixing of M.V. danger notice plate of 200 mm X 150 mm, made of mild steel, at least 2 mm thick, with rounded off corners and vitreous enameled white on both sides, and with inscription, conventional skull and crossbones in signal red colour on front side as per IS 2551 amended upto date.
Supply and fixing large sized anodised aluminium glass framed shock treatment chart as per IS 5216 amended upto date.
Supply and fixing of wall mounted first aid box with standard set of all medicines and accessories having a leftover shelf life of at least one year before expiry
Supply of rubber hand gloves suitable for LT power supply
Supply of four (4) fire sand buckets along with a suitable mild steel (MS) stand, designed and constructed to securely handle mount all the 4no. of buckets. The fire sand buckets shall be painted in Red and marked "FIRE" on it and MS stands must adhere to the specifications and standards outlined in IS 2546(amended uptodate), which covers the materials, design, and construction requirements. The scope also includes supply of suitable amount of fire sand to fill the buckets as per the standards.
