Drilling the Pilot (Trial) bore well for boring trial bore well as per IS 2800 in any strata upto following depth of 200 mm dia bore to deliver 6 LPS quantity of water i.e. yield complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item no. 10.00 (a) The rate quoted by the tenderers shall be deemed to include for tranportation of suitable truck mounted drilling attachment alongwith necessary accessories and T & P and also clearance for setting of machinary etc. (b) Lithlog testing by using computerized composite lithlog machine and ascerterning the position of slotted and plain casing pipes and finding out the approximate yield of the bore after chemical/bactrological analysis shall be carried out before lowering of cassing pipe and report must be submitted to GE for approval. Rate for Electrical logging test also included in quoted rate. (c) Second and third trial bores shall only be carried out in case the first and second trial bores respectively declared to be unsuccessful by the GE in writing. (d ) Depth of second and third trial bores may vary if suggested by the CGWB. Contractor shall have no claim on account of reduction or addition in the depth. In case the depth is increased beyond 180 m, rate of item No. 10.09(h) shall be applicable for the increasing depth. (e) Payment of unsuccessful trial bore(s) shall only be released after successful boring in the successive trial. However in the event of unsuccessful boring even after 3 Nos of trial bores if it is declared to be given up, the site will be abandoned & payment for all the trial bores will be allowed only after approval of accepting officer. (f) Rate applicable for payment of the second and third trial bore shall be 20 % less than the rates quoted against 1st trial bore (item No.10.02 to 10.09).

Development of bore well by means of compressor of min 250 PSI capacity and over pumping by pump of capacity not less than 25 HP until the sand free water obtained and carrying out necessary yield test by V notch method and submitting the test report complete all as specified and directed. Note - The compressor/submersible pump set and other equipment shall be arranged by contractor and cost of FOL for running of compressor is deemed to be included in the item rate complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, assembling and lowering 200 mm nominal bore mild steel ERW ISI marked casing blank pipe having wall thickness 8 mm as per IS - 4270-1992 and jointing with electric arc welding, screwing and socketed in random length of 3 to 6 m, including necessary fittings i.e. special steel sockets, coupling , jointing and painting with two coats of bituminous paint of external surfaces of pipe below ground level complete all as specified and directed.
