Computerized analysis, detailed engineering and structural design of pre-fabricated pre engineered structure and its foundation, vetting of design and drawing from government engineering college/ NIT/ IIT for stability, economy etc. , supply of structural elements, fabrication at workshop, transportation to site including loading, unloading, erection, bolting, welding, shot blasting, painting of pre-fabricated structural steel tower members with one coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved color synthetic enamel paint etc. for construction of square structural steel platform at a height of 6.00m above ground level for erection of elevated galvalume water tank of effective capacity 50000 litres (diameter and height as specified by the tank manufacturer) with grillage up to 90cm height from the tank platform at a clear offset of at least 30 cm all-round or as directed by EIC. The rate is inclusive of provision of hot rolled sections for structural members like columns, beams, gusset plates, MS sheets, chequered plates, horizontal and diagonal braces, foundation bolts and/ or any other structural member as mentioned in the approved structural design. The item is also inclusive of design, supply, transportation, fabrication and erection of a ladder for maintenance and inspection of the tank. The base plate for the tank should be provided with arrangements to support the provision, clamping bar fixing of 65 mm dia GI down take pipe, painting etc. Note: I The work shall be carried out as per approved drawings (vetted by government engineering college/ NIT/ IIT for stability, wind resistance etc.), AAI's technical specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The measurements shall be based on the quantity of structural steel used in the structure. Drawings, if any, enclosed with the tender are only indicative and may be subject to structural changes following the design of the same. All materials used shall be of AAI approved make. The net capacity of the tank should be approximately 51720 litres. The tank would be provided with commercial heavy duty internal and external ladder, galvanized hinged access hatch manhole of dimension 600 mm x 600 mm on roof, 10mm galvanized nuts and bolts, hold down brackets including anchors and studs for fastening the tank in position on the platform, galvanized top metal support hoop of dimension 65mm x 65mm x 2.8mm, geotextile fabric underlay (under liner base), commercial electronic level indicator with 3 level sensor and alarm buzzer, magnesium anode sacrificial protection, fabric tape and double tape as required with inlet, outlet, overflow and drain nozzles as per site requirement or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The tank is to be placed on an elevated structural steel platform with clear height of 6.00m from ground level. The rate is inclusive of vetting of design and drawing of the tank, tank supporting platform, foundation details of the structural platform etc. from Government Engineering college/ NIT/ IIT for stability and economy etc., fabrication at workshop, transportation to site including loading, unloading, erection, fastening in position, making connections to pipelines i.e. inlet pipe of 50mm dia and down take pipe of 65mm dia, testing for leakages etc. Note: The structural steel platform foundation works and the structural steel platform fabrication works as per the approved drawings provided by the agency/ manufacturer/ supplier vetted by Government Engineering college/ NIT/ IIT will be paid for separately.

Computerized analysis, detailed engineering and structural design of pre engineered prefabricated steel structure and its foundation, vetting of design and drawing from Government Engineering college/ NIT/ IIT for stability and economy etc., supply of structural elements, fabrication at workshop, transportation to site including loading, unloading, erection, bolting, welding, supply and fixing of foundation bolts as per approved structural design, shot blasting, painting of pre engineered structural steel members etc. for construction of garage for fire vehicle as per the concept drawing provided. This is inclusive of provision of hot and / or cold rolled sections for structural members like columns, rafters, purlins, roof trusses etc., cladding of vertical wall between crown portion of lean-to roof and tie beam/ bottom chord of roof truss of garage. Providing and fixing pre-coated galvanized iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) and accessories like ridges plain (500 - 600mm), flashings/ aprons (up to 600 mm), barge board (up to 300 mm), gutter (600 mm over all girth) etc. of 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, including cutting to size and shape wherever required. The item is inclusive of design, supply, transportation, fabrication and erection of 4.50 m wide canopy of hot rolled MS sheet with suitable stay wire arrangement, along the entire length of the garage, at the front and rear ends. A projection of 1.20 meters shall be provided in the roofing sheet on all the edges other than front and rear ends where canopy is provided. Rain water gutter of suitable dimension should be designed fabricated and erected on all the sides with 4 inch PVC down spouts. *(Please refer BOQ page 24-27 in Tender Document for the full description of item No.94) Note: I 1. Excess/less steel used as per approved design is payable/recoverable separately.
