SPECIFICATION FOR PRE STRESSED RCC FENCING POLES
SPECIFICATION FOR PRE STRESSED RCC FENCING POLES Pre -stressed reinforced RCC Fencing poles sizes : 2.0 mtr. There shall be 4 nos, of vertical reinforcement of high tensile steel wire of 4mm dia. Each fencing pole shall be of square cross section of 100mmx100 mm. Each fencing pole shall be provided with 6 nos. holes. Top hole shall be provided at 100 mm below the top of pole and bottom hole should be provided at 500 mm above the bottom of the pole. The central distance between the top and bottom hole shall be equally divided fot remaining holes. 'J' hooks shall be of 6mm dia MS bars with proper threads at one nut and washer for tightening purpose. These 'J' bolts shall pass through the holes of poles. General requirements a. Material The materials used for the manufacture of pre stressed reinforced cement concrete fencing poles shall comply with the requirements as per relevant IS specification (with upto date amendments) The concrete Mix shall confirm to requirements of M30 grade as laid down for controlled concrete (also called design mix concrete) in IS-1343 (code of practice for pre stressed concrete) and IS-456 (code of parctice for plain and reinforced concrete) (With upto date amendments)
