SCHEDULE 'A' PART IV-B (EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY)

M&L for Ductile iron pipe, centrifugally cast spun with socket and spigot ends, class K7 ISI Marked suitable for push on joint (rubber gasket D-jointing), 150 mm dia, conforming to IS-8329 (2000), in standard length with cement mortar lining inside the pipe, laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Ductile iron pipe, centrifugally cast spun with socket and spigot ends, class K7 ISI Marked suitable for push on joint (rubber gasket D-jointing), 100 mm dia, conforming to IS-8329 (2000), in standard length with cement mortar lining inside the pipe, laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, fixing / jointing and testing of 150 mm bore and 5.40mm wall thickness mild steel heavy duty ERW pipe conforming to IS-1239/relevant IS in any length, welded in any shape and making bend etc, with and including 10mm thick flanges at both ends and two coats of rubber black paint in outer side, for fixing of OHT complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, fixing / jointing and testing of 100 mm bore and 5.40mm wall thickness mild steel heavy duty ERW pipe conforming to IS-1239/relevant IS in any length, welded in any shape and making bend etc, with and including 10mm thick flanges at both ends and two coats of rubber black paint in outer side, for fixing of OHT complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for construction of brick masonary valve chamber for valves and meaters of internal size 750mm x 750 mm x 750 mm with foundation of PCC 1:4:8 type D2,(unsing 40mm graded stone aggreagate) brick work with sub class B bricks built in cement mortar 1: 4 with 15 mm plastering both internal and external surfaces (externally 15cm below GL) and 75 mm thick floor in PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (unsing 40mm graded stone aggreagate) and finishing the floor surface even & smooth using extra cement including provision of MS sheet cover 5mm thick surrounded by MS angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 6mm frame work embeded in 50mm thick PCC coping of 1:3:6 type C-2(unsing 40mm graded stone aggreagate) with locking arrangement, white washing on brick massonery plastered exposed surface and painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (black/green colour) over red oxide primer on steel surface including earth work and excavation in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for water level indicator from over head reservior (RCC) on up to 21.5 mtr stagging, mechanicla type, comprising of stainless steel float, oval type, 120mm depth & 250mm dia at centre, non rusted metal pully of 80/100mm dia with non rusted steel indicator of suitable size, level board made out of 3mm thick MS sheet, 30cm wide and 1.25mtr long, duly painted and marked in suitable scals/figures in premanently maked, tied with stainless steel rope of 8/10mm dia suitable length including necessary connecting accessories like SS nuts, bolts, washers etc, reqd for smooth functioning of water level indicator, complete all as specified and directed.

S &F aviation /obstraction light LED type fixed on the top of OHT of any height including necessary fixing accessories etc complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Cat part No. SZPALMX-2 of Shakti or equivalent in Havells / Wipro.

M& L, for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground not less than 2.5 mtr below groud level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected by 25x4 mm GI strip as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt, thimbles, check nuts, washers surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all round the plate including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), with fair finish, inetrnal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm X 300mm , 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320 x 320 x 80 mm size (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, adequate quantity of common salt, charcoal etc all, as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified incuding and provision of GI strip upto 7.5 mtr long with 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, Medium grade, including all excavation and earth work and connecting the earth strip to an earthing test point/panel including testing on completion complete alll as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge Note:- (1) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC (1:2:4) type B1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 Kg/Sqm in lieu of CI cover (2) Cost of addtional GI strip more than 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Sch A

(ii) The cost shown under Estimated rate column no-5 of BOQ of ibid item is inclusive of cost for demolition & credit for retrieved items after Demolition. However the tenderers may offer more amount based upon the credit assessed by him at site. (iii) The rates indicated in column no-5 is tentative. However the bidder is at liberty to offer more credits. Under no circumstances the credit will be accepted below the estimated rate indicated in column-05 of BOQ.
