MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS AND RECANNING TO CERTAIN STEEL FURNITURE AT AFS BIDAR

Almirah Large Steel :-FD-1031: Removing Dents and Bends and welding wherever required for Almirah Large Steel, Scrapping old painted surfaces and removing existing paint on surfaces with chemical /aerosal spray. Preperation of almirah surfaces after applying putty and red oxide primer and spray painting of almirah with two coats of synthetic enamel paint. Colour: Royal blue/ airforce blue colour for entire almirah and half white colour for doors (front side) as per sample kept in BSO office and as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Note: Almirah as a whole shall be measured as single unit.

Almirah Medium Steel :-FD-1032: Removing Dents and Bends and welding wherever required for Almirah Medium Steel, Scrapping old painted surfaces and removing existing paint on surfaces with chemical /aerosal spray. Preperation of almirah surfaces after applying putty and red oxide primer and spray painting of almirah with two coats of synthetic enamel paint. Colour: Royal blue/ airforce blue colour for entire almirah and half white colour for doors (front side) as per sample kept in BSO office and as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Note: Almirah as a whole shall be measured as single unit.

Removing the existing U/S damaged shelf from almirah large steel and S & F shelf made out of MS sheet, 1 mm thick, bent to shape as required, welding, etc including preparing the new steel and iron surfaces and applying two coats of Synthetic enamel paint as specified in Sl No 01 , over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed by Engg-in-charge. Note: Each shelf will be measured as one unit.

All as per Item No 1.02 here in before but shelf from Almirah Medium Steel.

Removing the unserviceable locks from Almirah and S&F new steel locks (6 lever brass) for Almirah large/Med steel of approved quality with duplicate keys all as directed by Engg-in-charge.

Removing and replacing unserviceable handle with new 100 mm chromium plated handle of approved quality for Almirah large/Med steel all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Book Case Steel:- FD-1028: Repairs and removing of dents and bents of Book case steel including repair of sliding arrangements for book case and scrapping old painted surfaces and removing existing paint on surfaces with chemical /aerosal spray. Preperation of surfaces after applying putty and red oxide primer and spray painting of book case steel with two coats of synthetic enamel paint. Colour: Royal blue/ airforce blue colour for entire book case and half white colour for glass doors (front side) and as directed by Engg-in-Charge and approved by GE. Note: Each book case shall be measured as one unit.

Removing and replacing the broken glass with 3mm thick new plain glass and packing wherever required to make the item intact and to avoid loose fittings. Note: Each Glass shall be measured as a single unit.

Removing and replacing unserviceable handle with new bow handle of 75mm size steel chromium plated with suitable screws all as directed for one shutter of book case steel as per sample as approved by Engg-in-Charge.

Removing the unserviceable locks and S&F new steel lock (6 lever brass) of approved quality with duplicate keys complete all as directed by Engg-in-Charge.

Repair of Chair Varandha FD-359: Re-canning of chair varandah after removing the existing cane and to carry out necessay welding and repair if required and painted with synthetic enamel white paint two coats and weaving with new white plastic cane of approved quality with 4mm wide half round type for seat and back all as ordered as per pattern shown on drg and all as specified including fixing of 4 Nos, hard rubber shoes of 20 mm dia (black colour) to each chair verandah and as directed by Engg-in-charge. Note: Cane shall be of plastic strips of superior quality, type-I, (HDPE) white or cream as directed by Engineer-In- Charge of uniform width conforming to IS-5387.

Repairs to Table Office Officer/Clerk Steel:-FD-1003/1004: Removing the unserviceable drawer from table and supply and fix new drawer made out of 1mm thick MS sheet made to shape, welding etc, including preparing the new steel and iron surfaces and applying, two coats of smoke grey synthetic enamel paint, first quality, over a coat of red oxide primer all as per drg and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Each drawer will be measured as one unit.

Removing the unserviceable locks and S&F new steel lock (6 lever brass) of approved quality with duplicate keys all as directed by Engr-in-charge for table office officer/table office clerk steel.

Removing the existing unserviceable table tops of table office clerk steel and S&F new table top with 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board, with one face decorative laminate and other balancing white, exterior grade, ISI Marked, duly fixed with 20 /19mmx 4mm thick teak wood, half round beading, duly polished, glossy finish, all round, etc complete, all as directed.

All as per item No 4.02 here in before but for Table office officer steel

Repairs to Table 900x600x760 mm FD-1007/1008/1009. Removing the unserviceable table top & supply and fix new prelaminated particle board, with one face decorative laminate and other balancing white, exterior grade, ISI Marked, of size, 18mm thick duly fixed with 4mm thick teak wood beading around the table top duly french polished, glossy finish, etc complete all as directed by Engg-in-Charge.

Removing the unserviceable locks and S&F new steel lock (6 lever brass) of superior quality with duplicate keys all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Scrapping old painted surfaces and removing existing paint on surfaces with chemical /aerosal spray. Preperation of surfaces after applying putty and red oxide primer and spray painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint. Colour as approved by GE and as directed by Engg-in-Charge for Almirah 1/2 h 1/2 Shelves Steel FD-1033.
