Preparation of surface of existing concrete deck, including removal of all loose, weak, honeycombed and deteriorated concrete by suitable mechanical means, thorough mechanical cleaning of the exposed surface, cleaning with compressed air and/or water jet as required, removal of dust, dirt and other loose particles, collection and disposal of all debris and waste material at approved disposal locations, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Repair of damaged / honeycombed portions with polymer-modified non-shrink micro concrete including bonding coat, formwork where required, placing, compaction and curing. With welding joint repair of footpath with steel plate or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 50 mm (Fifty millimetre) thick in M-40 (M-Forty) high-performance bonded concrete overlay including surface preparation, bonding slurry with approved superplasticizer/plasticizer, silica fume, accelerator where required with mixing, pumping, laying, compaction, finishing and curing and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidential. Providing and applying 25 mm (Twenty five millimetre) average thick M-35 (M-Thirty) grade cementitious wet shotcrete to the underside of deck slab, including approved accelerator, silica fume/polymer admixture, bonding coat and shotcrete primer, complete with air compressor skilled nozzlemen, finishing and curing, including polyurethane/acrylic waterproof coating, necessary scaffolding/staging and all arrangements required for execution of the work on bridge, including shifting, dismantling and removal of scaffolding/staging, quality control and testing, mobilisation and demobilisation of manpower, shuttering/equipment, compressor, plant and machinery, transportation/loading and unloading of all materials, equipment and machinery to and from the site, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentais. The rate including octroi,royality,Malkana,toll tax sales tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Painting steel work on existing bridge railing with standard Synthetic Enamel Paint of approved brand and manufacture, such as Asian Paints Apcolite, Nerolac or equivalent, to give an even and uniform shade, including thorough scraping and removal of loose/flaking old paint, cleaning of rust and scale with wire brushes and other suitable tools, spot priming of exposed/bare steel surfaces with one coat of approved Red Oxide Zinc Chromate Primer, and applying two or more finishing coats of approved Synthetic Enamel Paint as required to achieve a uniform and satisfactory finish, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The item shall include all labour, tools and tackles, brushes, scaffolding/staging and arrangements required for working at height, local safety measures, protection of adjoining works, carriage of materials within all leads and lifts, loading, unloading, handling and stacking, and all other incidental operations necessary for proper completion of the work, complete in all respects as per relevant HPPWD specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Complete Maintenance Overcoating of Existing Bridge Truss by Providing and applying one coat of high-solids, self-priming industrial mastic paint of approved brand and manufacture to the existing steel bridge truss, including thorough manual surface preparation by scraping and wire brushing to remove loose, flaking and poorly adhered existing paint, rust, dirt and other surface contaminants; supply and application of approved paint and thinner by brushes/rollers to achieve a uniform and satisfactory finish, with a dry film thickness (DFT) of 75–100 microns, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The item shall include all labour, materials, paint, thinner, brushes, rollers, tools and tackles, local scaffolding/staging arrangement (balli-patta), safety rigging and other safety measures required for working at height, loading, unloading, handling, carriage of materials within all leads and lifts, and all other incidental operations necessary for proper completion of the work, complete in all respects as per relevant HPPWD specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
