Mobilizing and demobilizing of hydraulic boring equipment, all other necessary machinery, including jack-up platform for marine holes, and personnel for boring work including all other enabling works including site establishment etc. (60% of the total amount under this item shall be released upon mobilization and balance 40% after demobilization).
Setup and transfer of hydraulic rotary drilling equipment with other accessories to different marine borehole locations with supply of all labor, materials, equipment etc. complete and positioning at the location / boreholes as per specification, contract requirement. The rate shall also include observation of ground water in all boreholes.
Boring 100/150mm diameter marine boreholes as specified through gravel, sand, silt clay, hard clay and all types of soils with SPT-N < 10% is encountered, the material will be treated as soil and this core drilling operation shall be at no extra cost to the Employer.
Drilling 63.5mm diameter size exploratory boreholes in weak to strong rock and collecting core samples in core boxes as per specifications using triple core barrel. Exploration of 10m in moderately weak rock shall also be ensured.
Conducting Standard Penetration tests (SPT) in boreholes as per specification.
Conducting Borehole Vane Shear test as per specification
Collecting undisturbed soil samples (UDS) from boreholes at specified depths including packing, sealing and labelling as specified including provision of sampling tubes, store as necessary, with all handling charges and dispatching the same to laboratory
