Part-I 2/00 to 53/00

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures such as Retaining walls, Breast walls, culverts and crash barrier, roadways width in all kinds of soils including spade work, pick work, jumper work, blasting work in soft & hard rock and their intermediate classification of soils including chiseling and wedging out of rock with in all depths and lifts including bailing out of water, wherever required as per drawing and technical specification including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious matters dressing of sides and bottom, back filling,the excavated earth to the extent required and utilizing the remaining earth locally for road work as per MORT & H specification 301 & 304 latest revision complete in all respects including carriage of material and equipment in all leads and lifts with all modes of transportation. Any loss to the public/private property during course of execution shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases as per directions of Engineer-in -charge

Providing and laying mechanically mixed & vibrated M-15 (fifteen) Plain cement concrete containing minimum contents of cement @ 5.50 (five point five zero) bags per cubic metre complete in all depth as per drawing and technical specification in Retaining walls, Breast walls, Culverts ,drains ensuring non segregation and curing complete as per MORT & H specifications No. 1500, 1700 & 2100 5th revision including carriage of materails and equipments and cost of form work of steel plates in all leads and lifts with all modes of transportation to complete the work to the satisfaction of the Engineer - In -Charge.

Providing & fixing weep holes in plain cement concrete Retaining wall, Breast wall, abutments and return walls with 100 mm (one hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe, extended through the full width of the structure with slope of IV: 20H towards draining face complete as per MORT & H specifications clause 2706 and 2200 (latest revision) including hauling of material in all leads and lifts with all modes of transportation and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of filter media with granular material/stone crushed aggregate satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 and 710.1.4 of IRC. 78 of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of 600 mm ( six hundred millimetre ) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind retaining walls abutment , wing wall and return walls to the full height compacted to a firm condition simultaneously with the laying of fill material compacted thoroughly to the requirements of table 300-2 as per clause 305.4 of Morth specification book (latest revision) ( Filter media shall be paid only for thickness of not more than 600 mm and back filling if any will be measured and paid for separately )complete as per drawing and technical Specification, as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge in all leads and lifts and carriage of materials by all means of transport etc.

Providing and erecting a "Thrie" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 85 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 2 m high with 1.15 m below ground level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a space of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 546 mm long complete as per clause 811 including all leads and lifts with all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of high intensity Engineering grade plastic sheeting euro brand on the front side of the existing "W" metal beam crash barrier size 450mm wide in yellow and black colour with arrangement to be fixed on crash barriers for easy visibility at night complete in all respect inclusing carriage of material with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer- in -charge.
