M & L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 .6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. M & L coloured vitrified tiles of any design and pattern, 600 x 600 x 9 to 10 mm thick as in floor etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles.Tiles shall be conforming to IS-15622:2017, Group B1b and including 15mm thick screed bed in Cement mortar (1:6) in flooring, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in cloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed directed by Engr-in-Charge . Note:- Shade of tiles including colour, design and pattern shall be approved by GE.

M & L coloured vitrified tiles of any design and pattern, 600 x 600 x 9 to 10 mm thick as in vertical surfaces / skirting etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles.Tiles shall be conforming to IS-15622:2017,Group B1b and including 10mm thick rendering in Cement mortar (1:4), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in cloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed directed by Engr-in-Charge. M & L for 18 to 20 mm thick machine cut pre polished kota stone slab as in flooring / tread in full length in single piece without joint, of stair case over and incl 15 mm thick cement screed base in CM 1:6 laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including necessary grinding, rubbing and polishing incl full round bull nosing including 40mm thick PCC in cement concrete (1:2:4) type-B1 as in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 18 to 20 mm thick machine cut pre polished kota stone slab as in riser of steps, full length in single piece without joint, of stair width / skirting laid over and incl 10 mm thick cement screed of CM 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade including necessary grinding, rubbing and polishing and bullnosing, including taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 16 to 18 mm thick prepolished marble any colour (Udaipur green marble) (table rubbed and polished) as in stair case (tread & riser in single piece) steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust to match with marble shade over and including cement screed bed 15mm thick in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed

M & L for rubber moulded vibro compacted coloured glossy finish cement concrete chequered tiles of size 30cm x 30cm x 20mm thick jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement and pigment to match the surface of tile as in floor over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 and 75mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 25mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.50mm graded stone aggregate) as in levelling course finished to receive the top layer of floor complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of internal wall by application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The new surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper The cost of all material T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted . Note The quoted rate for Srl item No 78 shall be deemed to be included the quoted rates for Srl item No 79.

(ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. (iii). Note: (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. Note The quoted rate for Srl item No 82 shall be deemed to be included the quoted rates for Srl item No 83.

M & L for prepairing old painted steel and Iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm Width / Girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of any tint complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Polishing: Prepare a solution of shellac in de-natured spirit together with alcohol ingredient as may be necessary. The shellac shall be 25 percent by weight of de-natured spirit. Shellac crystals shall be washed in luke warm water to remove dust etc and clearly dried before use. Shake the mixture until the ingredients are completely dissolved. Strain the section through coarse muslin. Take a wad of cotton/wool and partially saturate it with the mixture thus prepared. Enclose the wad in a piece of linen cloth and apply to the surface along the grain with light even pressure. If the wad shows signs of sticking, it should be slightly dipped in mustard oil. Continue rubbing until a thinly coated glass appearance is obtained. Set aside for about two hours to permit surface coat to harden. Rub surface with sand paper no to remove any coarse grains. Repeat polishing the surface as before when a clean grained smooth surface is obtained. It should be allowed to harden for about an hour. Rub surface again with no o sand paper. Change the wad as before and apply to the surface in circular motion until the whole surface is covered. Once over change the wad with mentholated spirit and apply with straight stroke in direction of the grain until the required glossy finish is obtained to the satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge. complete all as specified and directed.
