Revamping Kitchen and associated facilities of Phase-1 Canteen FACT Cochin Division Ambalamedu.

Labour charges for dismantling carefully the existing ceiling /partitions with AC sheets, Plywood / Hardboard /wood etc and stacking them for reuse as per deptl. instructions.

Chipping & removing mosaic flooring / skirting in the toilet rooms and other areas very carefully without damaging the remaining portions and water supply items and removing the debris to places pointed out by the department.

Chipping & removing old cement plastered surface including racking out joints & clearing the surface for replastering & disposal of the debris as per directions within a distance of 150 m.

Chipping & removing portions of existing RCC works carefully without damaging the remaining structure & removing the debris as per directions within a distance of 150 m.

Dismantling AC / GI / Tufflite / Aluminium/Zincalum sheet roofing, side cladding etc and depositing the debris away from plant limit within a distance of 150 m.

Dismantling AC/Aluminium/Zincalum ridge pieces and clearing away debris from the plant limit.

Dismantling and removing doors with or without ventilators including removal of shutters, hinges, holdfast and all other fittings and stacking materials as per deptl.instructions

Dismantling and removing windows/ventilators/shelves/cup boards/AC frames etc including removal of shutters, hinges, holdfasts and all other fittings and stacking materials as per deptl.instructions

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make(Johnson Endura Meteor 20mm thick or equivalent), in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. Size of Tile 600x600 mm.

Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing , curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Polished Granite stone slab jet Black, Cherry Red, Elite Brown, Cat Eye or equivalent.

Edge moulding of granite slabs upto 20 mm thickness with grinding machines to the required lines and levels with smooth finish as per departmental instructions.

Cement plastering with CM 1:4,12 mm thick one coat floated hard and trowelled smooth at all levels, including cost of cement.

Applying water thinnable cement primer one coat for exterior and interior walls of approved brand and manufacture at all heights including cost of all labour ,materials and scaffolding charges.

Painting with acrylic emulsion exterior paint of approved brand and shade two coats on new/old surfaces at all heights as per manufacturer’s specification including preparing surface and applying a coat of cement primer.

Painting two coats with ready mixed plastic emulsion paint of approved quality and colour specified over the priming coat already done and paid separately after cleaning the surface well.

Painting with one coat synthetic enamel paint of suitable colour using approved quality paint as specified to old wood/iron work after rubbing with sand paper cleaning the surface including cost of all materials and labour.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint for each succeeding coat for woodwork/ ironwork including cost of all materials and labour.

Providing cup board shutters with approved quality wooden series Aluminium profiles having show case frame of size 66x32.5x0.83 mm, shutter frame of size 41.90x23x0.98 mm, Intermediate frame of size 32x32x0.80 mm (if required) having necessary shutters & partitions (If required) as per requirement, covered with 3 mm hylam sheet inclusive of SS Handles, 75 mm SS hinges, Magnetic latches , necessary cleat angles, rubber beedings & corners with all fixtures in SS screws etc complete as per directions at site

Supplying and fixing pure polyester powder coated aluminium frame work of extruded sections and approved brand/manufacturer including mitring the joints, fixing the frame work with necessary screws, drilling holes in floors, walls and ceiling, providing plugs for fixing screws, finishing the sides of packing between frame work and wall/ceiling with plaster of paris, cost of timber packing if necessary, rubber lining for air tightness, providing corner cleats, etc. complete as per standard practice for glazed doors, windows, side hung as well as sliding windows, ventilators, partitions, handrails etc. including all hinges, pivots, tower bolts, peg stays, fixtures, and pure polyester powder coated aluminium approved brand beadings, handles & approved locking system at all levels.(Payment will be given for the weight of aluminium sections only)

Providing and fixing glazing in Aluminium frame work of doors, windows, fixed glazing, ventilators with glass panes, with EPDM/ Neoprene Weather Seals, Gaskets of Neoprene or PVC, etc. as per the architectural drawings and directions of the engineer in charge at all levels. (Measurements shall be for the overall area of shutters of doors, windows, ventilators and partitions. Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item- using 4mm or nearest thick toughened glass.

Supplying and fixing stainless steel (SS 316) mosquito proof net to suit the existing door/window /Ventilator frames with suitable powder coated aluminium frame work , fixing arrangements, including locking facility etc complete as per instruction of Engineer- in -charge

Providing non-asbestos high impact Polypropylene reinforced cement, 5.50 mm minimum thick, corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) of suitable colour as approved by Engineer-in-charge, roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self-drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required

Providing corrugated serrated adjustable ridges or hips in Non- asbestos fibre cement high impact polypropylene reinforced roofing with suitable fixing accessories or self-drilling fastener and EPDM washer , etc. complete as per instructions.

Ceiling with 4 mm non AC plain sheets “E” board of Everest or equivalent screwed on to the underside of frame work already provided including necessary SS screws, wire nails & cost of all materials & scaffolding charges etc. complete as per deptl. instructions.

Supplying and fixing PVC pipes conforming to IS 4985 class III, 6 kg/sq.cm pressure for lines with all required specials such as plain bends, single junctions, elbows, crosses, unions, shoes, door bends, double junctions, vent cowls, etc. with or without door including cutting masonry or concrete floors, sunshades, etc and making the holes good after finishing the work. wherever necessary and jointing pipes with approved quality resin cement and fixing pipes with MS fixing clamps screwed on to wooden plugs embedded in masonry wherever required and painting the clamps with two coats of enamel paint over one coat primer. This includes testing of joints complete at all levels. for waste water lines:110mm or nearest outer diameter

Supplying and fixing PVC pipes conforming to IS 4985 class III, 6 kg/sq.cm pressure for lines with all required specials such as plain bends, single junctions, elbows, crosses, unions, shoes, door bends, double junctions, vent cowls, etc. with or without door including cutting masonry or concrete floors, sunshades, etc and making the holes good after finishing the work. wherever necessary and jointing pipes with approved quality resin cement and fixing pipes with MS fixing clamps screwed on to wooden plugs embedded in masonry wherever required and painting the clamps with two coats of enamel paint over one coat primer. This includes testing of joints complete at all levels. for waste water lines 75mm or nearest outer dia.

Supplying, laying and jointing with solvent cement, Rigid PVC pipes conforming to IS 4985 Class V (10 Kg/cm2 pressure rating) for water lines with all required concealed (brass embedded) PVC specials, such as Tees, bends, elbow, union, reducer etc. with clamps if any including necessary cutting and making good the walls, earth work if required etc.complete -25 mm OD Pipe

Supplying, laying and jointing with solvent cement, Rigid PVC pipes conforming to IS 4985 Class V (10 Kg/cm2 pressure rating) for water lines with all required concealed (brass embedded) PVC specials, such as Tees, bends, elbow, union, reducer etc. with clamps if any including necessary cutting and making good the walls, earth work if required etc. complete for 20 mm OD Pipe.

Supplying first class and well-seasoned Anjili wood scantling in required dimensions.

Labour for woodwork in wrought and put up with deptl.materials.
